I agree with @flyersfan1453, it’s a rite of passage. Also the cheesiness of it all completely makes the film. Like how they have to say “draw your sword” because it follows the original script so when they pull a gun out the camera pans to reveal that the side of the barrel says “sword”. Oh no doubt, the options are both there. I just mean it’s far easier to do the first in the VHLM than in the VHL simply because of the nature of the league being on a far faster cycle. The second option is definitely possible (there’s a good chance Philly could be dangerous next season) but it’s basically the only option for VHL expansions.

Honestly with the VHLM teams are basically new every season anyway so I find getting the few extra pieces that they do tends to give expansion teams an edge if they are going for it. Philly never really went for it so they ranked obviously but Halifax was amazing their first season, as was Houston.

I think that one was run through yahoo or something wasn’t it? Works different than the way our bracket challenge normally does.

Didn’t quite get 50 goals and 50 assists like I wanted but did surpass 100 points at least and secured another Victory Cup so I’ll take it. Now let’s see if the playoffs screw me as usual.

Given the situation a lack of punishment for only 1 game over (when @Devise has admitted he missed the lines, not that you didn’t send them) is possible; I just can’t guarantee it without looking over everything. However I’ll say flat out that 3 games over there won’t be a chance you aren’t punished and even if we decide on punishment in both cases it’ll only be made worse if you play your starter extra. Realistically this is why we always suggest just getting them out of the way, so that if something happens with the sim it doesn’t completely screw you.
