Commish is a paying job.

Quebec remains the only team I have never played for.

Obviously kinda late answering this but going before you meant more to me. I would have been perfectly fine with being drafted lower and having less TPE though. You were a hell of a competitor for me this draft and I had good fun with the competition. It does feel nice to get drafted above you though haha. I mean I guess a bit. Going into the series I didn’t give us much of a chance to win so getting swept or losing in 5 or something would have just been expected. Getting to game 7 and within 1 goal does sting a little bit more purely because I didn’t figure we’d come close. Once we did, it really felt like we could manage to get the cup only to have it slip away. You son of a bitch with you’re uncapped TPE earning beating me up haha. Gonna be a fun battle the next 8 seasons I think.

Week of: June 10 - 17 Questions Asked: Answers

It’s been a wild week for Matt Thompson. Last Sunday the former forward of the Ottawa Lynx was drafted first overall by the Seattle Bears; completing the second of his objectives as a player after capturing the Founder’s Cup in his first season. “It feels great to be drafted first, especially by the Seattle Bears. Obviously they were relatively low on my top locations list but Seattle has always been a great team for the Beketov agency and I hope to keep that trend going. Plus going first was obviously an objective for myself." The Bears managed to pick up goaltender Roger Sterling in the first round as well, completing a very solid round for the team looking toward a rebuild. “Roger is thus far an amazing teammate. He really put in a ton of work right before the draft to really make sure people took notice of him and Seattle definitely did. As soon as I saw him available at 4th I got really excited about the possibility of Seattle picking both of us up. I think we really have a good head start looking into the seasons to come with Roger and I as well as everyone else that we picked up at the draft. Considering the Bears were very close to the final last season it’s honestly great to see how fast the rebuild is starting."

There are still some missing for sure but I went through this morning and added a good bunch back in including one new one from a lovely screenshot of Pierre Turgeon I got this season: Like I said, it’s not everything but we got at least the team ones back, most of the original ones, and all of the “new” ones.
