  1. Tbh I am more sus of JeffD for a lack of response so far but meh.
  2. Well I am basing my suspicion on Dooms' psychic reading thing. At least one person confirmed evil. Unless it's @JeffD which I'm also sus about because of my investigator results plus the psychic reading, I'm pretty sus of you as well.
  3. Me too lol
  4. Aren't there only 2 town investigative? They can't be both investigators can they??
  5. Funny how I'm investigator as well. I investigated JeffD and he's either a Bodyguard, Godfather, Arsonist, or Crusader.

  8. Los Angeles, CA - Having 8 VHL games already been played, LA Stars defenseman and VHL Rookie Jiggly Gumballs is struggling to find his game in the VHL level. Having only 2 assists on the season so far, it appears that Gumballs hasn't seen much production despite being named one of the assistant captains for this season. Discipline has also been a problem for the young defender as he's on a penalty per game pace with 16 penalty minutes. "I think it is a bit frustrating that offensively, I'm not where I kinda want to be in. The VHL is a whole new level and I think I'm still trying to adjust to this league. For now, I don't think it's a concern to me for now. I do wanna focus on my own end of the ice first and I think I've done decent at that so far. Of course, this is just a start for now, and there's still a lot to improve. I'm still on my ELC afterall, so I think there's still a lot of time to work on my game as a whole. It's honestly a huge, huge honor to have the A as a VHL rookie, shows that the team, and management has faith in me. So all I have to do is live up to that." Despite the lack of offensive production, Gumballs has been fine on his own end with 18 hits and 16 shots blocked. His +/- rating is 0 but LA currently 12th in league standings. Anyhow, Gumballs has only seen a small taste of what the VHL has to offer. It won't be till a while until Gumballs can show whether or not he's improving. (284 Words)

How do you feel about our performance so far? 2) The Aces haven't won a cup since S64, does this add to the pressure of succeeding this season? 3) Who's your favourite locker room buddy so far? 4) What sort of nickname do you want to have in the LR? Or if you already got one or can't think of any, who's got the best sounding nickname? 5) Which player across the league is exceeding expectations so far? Do you think they'll continue exceeding expectations?? 6) If you were to recreate, what position would you go for next? Why?
  13. I mean I've been told we have no rights anyways so I guess the field trip was a nice bonus.

  23. Los Angeles, CA - With the S74 regular season moments away from starting, LA Stars defenseman Jiggly Gumballs is ready for his VHL debut. Jiggly Gumballs was the 4th ever pick of the Stars, one of the four newest expansions in the VHL 28th overall in the second round of the S73 VHL entry draft. And after a breakout season in the VHLM in Ottawa this past season, Gumballs is looking to take his game to the next level. The Winnipeg product is sure to bring a fresh new look to the Stars Defensive core as he aims to become a potential face of that defense in the future. "I honestly can't count the nights where I would just stay up late waiting for this day to come. It's exciting to finally reach the VHL and it's honestly just a dream come true. I'm still super grateful to the LA Stars for giving me a chance and now I'm finally here to show them what I've got." Gumballs was then asked of his expectations for himself and his team this season. "In all honesty, I'm just hoping that I can succeed at this level. The VHL has a great amount of talent and I'm hoping I can just make a name for myself y'know? Being in an expansion team, I think it's a great opportunity for me to establish myself as LA's main guy on D. I don't necessarily think it'll happen this season, but this is just the beginning right? I really don't think I'll put up a lot of points but I hope that I might learn from some of the veteran guys and improve on my end first. For my team, we're certainly looking better than we did last season, but with Gunnar gone, I think our offense might take a hit but it also creates a good opportunity for someone to step up. We have a good mix of youth and veteran experience so it will be interesting to see where things will go. We might make the playoffs but who knows?" Gumballs has two seasons remaining of his entry-level contract, and he was asked what he might expect his future might be with the Stars' franchise and what his reservations might be. "To be honest, I don't really know what my future is once my ELC ends. I love it here in LA, but I'm honestly not sure what I might do because there's just so many options out there. I have considered testing free agency before, but it's all dependent on my time here. As of now, I like it here and I would like to stay, but if I we're to leave, It'd definitely not be because of something bad. I do kinda want to know what the rest of the VHL offers so that would likely be my driving factor for ever testing free agency. I do value team need more than actually winning a cup. I know that some players like getting payed big, but I respect management a lot, so I'm always open to staying or going to places that might need me. So along with that uncertainty about my future, a lot of things might happen and I'm excited to see where things will go." (545 words)
  24. Jiggly Gumballs - D VHLM Drafted: 10th Overall (S73) || VHL S73: 28th Overall (S73) Birthplace: Winnipeg, Manitoba Age: 18 Height: 5'10 Weight: 178lbs Handedness: Right NHL Comparison: Dustin Byfuglien (Except the height XD) Overview: The young Winnipeg product has displayed a fair amount of success having spent two seasons in the VHLM. He first started his career late into S72 by signing with the Houston Bulls. Gumballs produced 14 points in 23 games that season, already showing signs of promise with this small sample size. And because of that, he would be drafted 28th Overall by the LA Stars, becoming the first few defensive prospect of the new expansion team. Shortly afterward, he would be drafted 10th Overall in the first round by the Ottawa Lynx. This previous season with the Lynx, Gumballs had a breakout season and proved that he can be more than capable amassing 87 points in 72 games with 68 assists in that season. Despite a rather lacking playoff performance, Gumballs has a bright future ahead as he aims to become the future face of the Star's defense. Pros: Passing - Gumballs plays a pass, two-way game and he's proven that it's worked. He's over a point per game in his VHLM career with 101 points in 95 games, and with those 101 points, 76 were assists. Gumballs' passing allows him to not only be excellent in the powerplay, but allow him to drive plays and be a key contributor as part of a team's offense. A playmaker in the back end, Gumballs can be a great addition to any high powered offense as a complementary piece. Physicality - Gumballs despite being under 6ft and only weighing 178lbs, plays a decently physical, and hard-hitting game. His career 217 hits shows that he can bring a level of intensity and grit to his style of play. With this, he can play a shut down punishing game on his end of the ice. He may not look much, but he can level you on the ice if you aren't looking. Two-Way Game - With the ability to be physical and great passing, the most important aspect of Gumballs is his overall two-way game. His play allows him to be dynamic and play a full 200 foot game. His puck handling skills and skating allows him to easily transition from defense to offense, which makes him a reliable asset on a team's defensive core. The ability to shut down a team's offense by means of physicality and anticipation, and the ability to switch to offense on a whim to provide breakout passes and playmaking to teammates allow Gumballs to be a serious threat. The only question that remains is if he will be able to translate that onto the VHL level. Cons: Discipline - Gumballs' has a tendency of taking one too many penalties. That was evident in the S73 VHLM Playoffs when he had 16 penalty minutes in just 5 playoff games. Most of the penalties he take are incidentally physical related. Cross-checking and tripping are his most common. If he would to have any sort of success, he'd need to discipline himself and make sure he keeps out of the penalty box. Accuracy - Gumballs may be an excellent passer and he has a fairly good shot in terms of power, but accuracy is his main goal scoring problem. In his career so far, he took 193 shots with only 25 turning out to be goals. A 12.95% in terms of shooting percentage. His goal scoring needs improvement but it's second in terms of priority behind discipline. And as long as his passing can compensate for his accuracy, it shouldn't be a major problem. (614 Words)
