This week, we have a S73 season review of VHLM rookie, Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment Rhynex Entertainment plays for the Las Vegas Aces. Just finished his first year in the VHLM, the young Center has a promising career ahead of him! Rhynex Entertainment was drafted 55th overall in the S73 draft by the Mississauga Hounds. He was traded to the Las Vegas Aces a few moments after being drafted. Entertainment is a 6'0'' 176 lbs Center. At the young age of 16, Entertainment showed incredible poise in his first season in the VHLM. Rhynex Entertainment showed incredible poise in the face-off circle throughout the season, and quickly became the Las Vegas Aces' go to forward. Entertainment played a team high for forwards, averaging 25.74 minutes per game and winning team best 57.32% of his face-offs , taking 2336 face-offs. Entertainment had a remarkable offensive season finishing with a 0.73 points per 20 minutes rating, and was named to the 3 stars selection 11 times. Number of time players was star #1 in a game Number of time players was star #2 in a game Number of time players was star #3 in a game 2 4 5 While not exactly thought to be a tough cookie, Entertainment is shown to be steady on his feet and is someone who won't back down. Entertainment finished with the team high of Hits Received with 256 and gave out 147 hits himself, which he leads the team. Entertainment was also involved in one fight, which ended in a draw. This kid can take quite a punishment! Hitting and getting hit, and winning face-offs are not the only thing Rhynex Entertainment does. Rhynex Entertainment is a crucial piece to the Las Vegas Aces' offence and defence. Entertainment finished S73 with 19 goals 49 assists and 68 points. Entertainment was also a + 21 for the season. While Plus Minus is not a reliable stat, it shows he is at least on the ice more often when the team scores. 68 points gives Rhynex Entertainment 3rd in team player points. Entertainment is 2nd in team assists and 4th in team power play points with 22 (6 PPG and 16 PPA). Rhynex Entertainment also have 5 (1PKG 4 PKA) shorthanded points for the season, which places him 2nd to only his penalty kill partner Onde Sandstrom @fonziGG who scored an amazing 6 shorthanded goals! We can only assume Rhynex Entertainment assisted on 4 of those goals! With such an entertaining rookie season, we got to look forward to the Post Season! Look out S73 VHLM Playoffs Fantasy Bracket! We might have a dark horse player to earn you some decent points! SITR: End of Season Rhynex Entertainment Mic'd up Thanks for tuning into VHL Network, Stick In The Rink! Today we have a special edition. The Las Vegas Aces have shared a wonderful video! Aces' rookie Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment was mic'd up for the End of Season Player Press. Here's what we got! Host: Thanks for coming in today for our Las Vegas Aces End of Season Press Conference. Let's get the End of Season Press started. Reporters please state your name and the recipient. You each get one question and a follow up. Why don't we begin with you in the front? James: Thank you! Good morning. I'm James from VHL Control. Question is for Rhynex Entertainment. You joined this league as a fresh face, without any hockey sim league experience. How would you say you've grown as a user? Rhynex: Hello James. That's a rather unique question. Actual I have hockey sim league experience, just not with the VHL. I played a part in a NHL hockey sim league back in the day as a GM, but the experience cannot be stated as the same. The sim leagues are like heaven and earth, very different. And to experience the sim league as a player and not a GM is also a different mountain. Comparing apples and oranges. I have a great time and learnt a lot over my first season. I have grown a lot. Haven't wrote this much in a long time (breaking fourth wall). We didn't have these Press Conferences in the sim league I was part of. All these unique network role playing game play is quite new to me, but all in all a very pleasant experience. I've improved my thoughts and concentration, and another method to meet people especially during these uncertain strange times. Social Distance. James: Thank you. Host: Kev, go ahead. KevinL: Hello, I'm Kevin L from VHL Sports. Rhynex, first of all congratulations on an exceptional first season. You were initially drafted to Mississauga, and then traded to Las Vegas. How did that trade work out for you? Rhynex: I was in talks with GM Spartan @Spartan when I first started before the S73 draft. The draft was an interesting experience as I was passed by every team more than once, before being picked 55th overall by GM ColeMrtz @ColeMrtz .It came to me as a surprise, but I was ready to dress up in the Hounds uniform (actually I used to play for a team called Greyhounds a few years back, which made this seem so fitting). My time with Mississauga ended up short lived. I was traded to the Aces shortly after being drafted. This trade worked out perfectly for me! The Aces have a great community and Las Vegas is close to home. I've learnt lots over the past season and have improved tremendously. To top things off, I'm off to the playoffs! Playoffs baby! KevinL: What has been the best part of being part of the Las Vegas Aces? Rhynex: Well Kevin, there's a lot to love being a part of the Aces. The team, my fans, the community has all been great! The coaches and training staff here are exceptional! Without their help, everyone's help, I would not have such an improved polished game. We're a pretty close knit family here in Las Vegas. KevinL: Thank you! Host: Go ahead, Tom. Tom: Hi Rhynex. Tom Parry of the Las Vegas Paper. Over the course of the season, you've interacted with quite a few members and players in the locker room and on the ice. Who are some of your favorite people on the team or in the locker room? Rhynex: Hello Tom. I'll have to go with my line mates. Chris Reynolds @Crstats23 and Kasey Tamm @kesytamm .They've been great teammates all season! Call out to Kasey. Kasey's been amazing, without Kasey stacking up my points this year I wouldn't have such a great stat line this season! (laughter all around the players at the conference table) Tom: Did you have any goals for before the season started? Now that the season is over, have you met those goals? Rhynex: (nervous laughter) My goals for the season seems rather laughable now. I wasn't sure what to expect before the season began. I wanted to score 10 goals and post 10 assists this season. Well as you can see, I've smashed that objective quite some time ago! (laughter all around) I could never have imagined that I would finish the season with 19 ginos and 49 apples. I'm a little bit disappointed in not hitting the 20 goals and 50 assists mark, but it's been a very successful rookie season in the VHLM. Nothing to complain about. Tom: Thank you Rhynex. Best of luck in the Post Season! Host: Okay, Kevin K. You have time for two questions. KevinK: Hello Rhynex. Kevin K from VHL Sports Illustrated. First of all, congratulations on a successful season. With the postseason ahead, Las Vegas has locked up the number 6 seed and is expected to play Minnesota in the first round. How are you preparing for the playoffs? Rhynex: Minnesota is a tough match up. They won the season series against us this year, but we just cleaned the floor with them today, you can consider that as a preview. (laughter among the players at the conference table) They have a good team, and we also have a good team ourselves. Playoffs is a different monster. It's going to be a rough ride, I'm going to need to be mentally and physically prepared. I know I've been in a bit of a scoring slump lately, so I'll be working on my scoring after the Press Conference. It'll be back to the rink after this for post game practice. KevinK: What are your predictions for how this postseason will go? Rhynex: Predictions? Predictions? What kind of question is that! We've come to play and win! We're not here to learn to lose. We're here to win. The sky is the limit. There's no need for us to make predictions. Let's leave that to the fans and analysts. Have your playoff brackets ready. It's going to be an exciting and entertaining ride! Thank you. Host: Thank you! That's all the time we have for today. (Press Conference video ends) A special thanks to @Spartan for the release of this wonderful feed! (total word count: 1062) (Claim for Weeks ending: Aug 30 and Sept 6)

Good read, we need more of these game coverages. Box scores don't tell the entire story! Key points are an added bonus! Could include game's 3 Stars next time and maybe have the call outs next to the player's name as well. 9/10

Excellent interview! Easy to read and distinguish between speakers, one being bold and then other not. Enjoyable read and nice call outs! 10/10

SITR: Season at a Glance - Las Vegas Aces Stick In The Rink is a new channel on VHL Network, where we explore the 73rd Season of VHL and its minor associate VHLM. This week on Stick In The Rink, we are featuring the season thus far for the Las Vegas Aces. (43 words) With the S73 regular season coming toward an end, one game left to play, the Las Vegas Aces sit comfortably in third place in the division and Western Conference, and 6th overall in VHLM. The Las Vegas Aces had an incredible season in S73, coming into the season with a team filled with a good mixture of youth and vets. Las Vegas made quite a few transactions throughout the year, adding extra personnel through free agent signings to fill the bottom six and defence. With forty five Wins and ninety five Points in seventy one Games, the Las Vegas Aces will end S73 a little short of last year in S72, which is a practical result with all the changes and new players this season. (125 words) In S73, the Las Vegas Aces scored well with 265 goals for, which gives them 4th in the VHLM. However with the goals for to goals against differential being only 56, placing 7th in the VHLM, it is clear what needs to be worked on to have a successful post season and next season. While these statistics may change with the few remaining games left in S73, let's have a look at the accomplishments of the Las Vegas Aces in S73. (81 words) The Las Vegas Aces scored a season high of 7 goals in a game three times this season, against Mexico City Kings, Yukon Rush, and the Halifax 21st respectively. The Aces also had 10 games scoring 6 goals. On the other hand, the Las Vegas Aces did have multiple bad games, in which they let in 8 goals. In S73, the Aces did fairly well against the Yukon Rush, winning 7 of 8 matches, and also sweeping all 8 games against Mexico City Kings. While the Aces do know how to beat down lower ranked teams, like young teams go they also take beat downs from elite teams such as the Miami Marauders, losing 4 of 5 after taking the first meeting. A good news is the ability to score; only being shut out 2 times in 71 games, but defence while hasn't been great all season does have 7 perfect games. (152 words) Leading the LAs Vegas Aces is young star, Kasey Tamm @kesytamm who scored the team leading 47 goals and 91 points. Kasey Tamm is also forth in assist for the team with 44. Being the only point per game player on the team, Kasey Tamm carried a major load for the team while playing on the second line and averaging 20.57 minutes per game. Regardless, the Las Vegas Aces does have a relatively good offensive season. The team has 6 players with 20 or more goals, 3 with at least 30; they have a potential to have 8 twenty goal scorers if Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment 19 goals and Nicholas Sunderbruch @NickSunderbruch 18 goals, score 1 and 2 goals respectively. The Aces also produced a lot of apples this season, with 6 players having more than 40 assists. Tim Waters @Siddhus leads the way with 53 apples, with Rhynex Entertainment close behind with 49. Defensively and grittiness of the team could use some extra attention. Gabriel Akerstrom @Mason leads the team with 92 shot blocks, while Rhynex Entertainment is a minibus with 146 hits. In net, Nils Friedriksen @Biggreen10 cannot be left out of the conversation for the Ace's season success. Nils Friedriksen played 69 games posting 43 Wins, 26 Losses, 5 being on Overtime. With a 2.85 Goals Against Average, saving 88.1% with 7 shutouts, Nils Friedriksen has backstopped the Las Vegas Aces to the playoffs. (237 words) With the final game of the season for the Las Vegas Aces coming right around the corner, it has been a fantastic year for the Aces. Looking for a lot more hockey for S73, the Aces look to have a long run in the post season. Here's to a strong finish and great and memorable playoffs! Lastly, give three cheers to the people at the top of the club! Special cheers to the General Manager @Spartan and Assistant @twists! (79 words) Total word count: 717

This week we discuss the fascinating team we have in Houston. Houston we don't have a problem! The Houston Bulls are the top ranked team after this week of play. Standing in the first position of the VHLM in S73, the Houston Bulls are leading the way with 66 points after 39 games. The Bulls are on a tremendous 11 game win streak! Leading the way with Superstar Defenseman @KnightRiley Riley Knight Gee and Superstar Center @BladeMaiden Venus Thightrap, the Bulls have a 2 game advantage over second place Ottawa Lynx, with a three game cushion in the Wins column. The Bulls also lead the league with a ridiculous Goals for - Goals Against Differential of 100, and is the first team to score 200 goals this season! While Riley Knight Gee and Venus Thightrap are the team's point leaders, the Bulls have many Stars in their ranks! You can never discount the 30 goal scorer in Center @Quik Christian Mingle, and assist per game Defenseman @Plate Markus Schauer defensive partner of league points leader Riley Knight Gee. Being one of the most assisting teams, the bulls have 3 players in the top 10 Assists, all going with over an assist a game ratio, it is no wonder Houston Bulls reached 200 goals so quickly. With such an outstanding team performance, the Houston Bulls is definitely the team to watch and the favourites to win it all! [Word count 237]

SITR: Tale of Two Cities GM Interviews - Part I (record dated August 2nd, 2020; delayed due to technical difficulties) Host: Thank you for tuning into VHL Network, Stick In The Rink! I am your host for this week, John Smith. (Cheers and small round of applause from the background audience) Last time, we featured a wonderful interview with the GM of the Las Vegas Aces, @Spartan Spartan! Tonight, we have not one, but two special guests! We will be speaking with two General Managers from the VHLM. These two teams are currently on the opposite ends of the league standings, certainly seems like a tale of two cities! But not to worry, it is still very early in the season so anything can happen! Please welcome our first special guest, GM of the Miami Marauders, @Ricer13 Ricer13! (Huge round of applause and cheering could be heard from the background audience, majority coming from the central and right regions, although a couple of boos could also be heard from the left side) Welcome Ricer13! Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to come in today! R13: Glad to be here, thank you! Host: Congrats in your fantastic start to the season! Sorry to see your tough 2-1 loss to the Minnesota Storm. Did you expect your team to be in your current situation in accordance to the current Season Standings? R13: Yes I expected Miami to be near the top of the standings. It’s a team built over a couple seasons and is very deep almost too deep. (a few whoops appear in the right audience) Host: You had an amazing S73 draft followed by a fast start to the season, what has surprised you so far about this season? Who do you say is your current team MVP? R13: What happened surprised me most is the unselfishness of our roster. Everyone wants personal success but everyone has bought in to the team first mentality and have the same goal in winning a championship. If I were to pick someone as Miami’s MVP so far it would have to be our goaltender Bacon. He is having an MVP caliber season in the pipes for us. Host: With a championship calibre roster, is anything less than a championship win a failure for the season? How do you plan to help this team continue its current success and win that shiny trophy at the end? R13: Yes, the championship is the goal and I know everyone on our team will not be happy with anything but that trophy. I think the biggest way to continue to find success is to find the right combinations in the line up and make sure that players who complement each other will be playing together. Host: You have four players with at least a point per game, and many more close to that. How do you spread the ice time among your players to ensure everyone achieve such high standards? Any plans to change what you're doing? R13: Right from the beginning of the season I had to let everyone know that they might not have the highest stats in the league. I want to make sure everyone has equal ice time and I have tried to do that with our line up strategies. For the most part everyone has had equal playing time. This may change as the season progresses. Host: Bacon @Bacon has started every game this season so far, when do you plan to give Russell Rattie @theB3AST_08 his first start? Do you worry you might worn out Bacon with all the games he's having? R13: I’ll never worry about Bacon. He is built for 72 games and I know he will be able to handle that if needed. Russel Rattie is inactive and will only get starts if Bacon is called up to play backup games in New York. Host: Minnesota has had your number so far this season, taking 3 of 4 games, what are your thoughts on this matter? Is there something you have planned to help your team go against this rival? Are they your toughest matchup? (a few boos could be heard from the background audience, and a single loud cheer from the left side) R13: I love our rivalry with Minnesota. Rayzor is a great GM and managed to retool his roster to stay competitive. They are definitely our toughest matchup so far this season but that’s what makes a good rivalry. You win some and you lose some and every game against them has been a tight battle by both teams. Host: Let's talk about draft picks, right now you don't have any picks in the first three rounds of the Season 74 draft. Do you have any plans of acquiring any picks for S74? Are you going to trade away your current remaining picks to help boaster your line-up? Is there someone from another team that you have your eye on that you might try pick up? R13: I have no interest in acquiring more players. Our team is already ridiculously deep and adding more players would reduce everyone ice time. If anything is maybe look to move a player to acquire picks but I am more likely to stand pat. Host: Alright! Looks like we are almost out of time. Is there any parting words you want to give to the audience and the fans out there? R13: I just want to thank you for taking the time to get a little insight on what is happening down here in Miami. We have a great group of players and a fun atmosphere in Miami and the fans are a big part of that too. We want to bring a title home to Miami and to be able to have a chance to do that in our second season is pretty incredible. Host: Thank you for such a wonderful interview Ricer13! We hope to have you come on again in the future! Best of luck for the rest of the season! (huge cheers and applause could be heard from the background audience; TV camera shifts to the audience as we are shown a standing ovation) (TV Screen fades to commercials) (Commercial Break….) 1. Consistency, hard work, and of course the season special, "social distance", with that advantage rivals can't legally come within 6 feet, easy points when you have so much room! 2. If Miami faces Minny, they are gone. Who can beat Minny? I'm not sure yet. 3. 50 hawks and 3 grizzly bears; hawks have the advantage of flight and those bears are dang scary, especially if they are protecting their pup (me). 4. Sure when I have time 5. I would take less money and play for my hometown team, after winning the cup then I'll look for big bucks 6. Friendly community, growing with the fam -

Looking at and Grading Every Expansion Team
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Gustav's topic in Archived Media Spots
As a new player coming into VHL. This is an amazing overview of the expansion and growth of this gaming league! I didn't even know there was a growth of 4 new teams (being I joined after the expansion). Very nice design! Great job well done! 10/10 -
Wow! This is some incredible footprints to follow @Quik! Excellent article. As someone new to VHL, these are the news that I try to find. People to look up to and learn from. This is what I call great community building all for the game we love! 10/10

This week, let's have a look at our most outstanding player so far in the VHLM, @KnightRiley Riley Knight Gee! Riley Knight Gee is a third year prospect in the VHLM playing for the Houston Bulls and drafted to the Prague Phantoms of the VHL! Riley is a young Defenseman standing at 5'10'' and 200 lbs. At just 18 years of age, Riley has shown incredible poise and improvements yearly. Riley Knight Gee has all the makings of a Superstar Defenseman in the making! Currently, in Season 73 of the VHLM, Riley Knight Gee is the Superstar! A man playing among kids, you might say. Riley Knight Gee leads the league in points by a whopping 8 points over second place @Infernal Arthur Dayne and @jman9theman9 Jeremy Lin (both with 46 and both Forwards). Riley leads all Defenseman with 54 points, which is an incredulous 22 points more than the second place Defenseman at 32 points in @JigglyGumballs Jiggly Gumballs. You heard this right! Riley Knight Gee has 20 goals (4th), 34 assists (1st) and 54 points (1st) in just 23 games this season in the VHLM. That's a 2.35 points per game average!! And all this is done playing defence! Incredible! Riley Knight Gee is a Power Play specialist with league leading 11 PPGs this season. With an indication of massive growth over the offseason, it is a matter of time before Riley gets a call up to the big leagues! Watch out VHL! This stud Defenseman will shock your league when the call is up! Top Five VHLM Prospects to Watch
Rhynex Entertainment replied to thepandaken's topic in Archived Media Spots
This is a well written first "report card" of this season. Riley Knight Gee has been amazing! 3 points per game ratio is absurd! Thanks for highlighting this phenomenon. In my opinion I would put Jeremy Lin at 4th over Michael Hall, given Jeremy is younger and has shown great improvement than Michael. Overall great read! 9/10 -
