VHL Scoring Changes Throughout History
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Matt_O's topic in Archived Media Spots
Interesting article. A very long read, the graphs definitely made it less dry. Good history lesson for a newer member to the community. Good essay format; intro, body and conclusion. Was there an increase in talent or change in game engine? 9/10 -

SITR: Thadius Sales Interview {Commercial Break} (TV screen re-focuses to display the VHL Network New York City Studios) Host: Welcome back to the VHL Network, Stick In The Rink! We just had a wonderful interview with VHL New York Americans' upcoming S76 Rookie Defenseman, Cowboy Prout @Prout! Now back from the commercials, we will get to chat with our second guest of the night! Please welcome VHL New York Americans' outstanding Goaltender prospect, Thadius Sales @thadthrasher! Thadius Sales, like Cowboy Prout, will also be joining the New York Americans as a S76 rookie! (camera focuses on the audience already in a standing ovation and applause; cheers as Thadius enters from backstage) Welcome Thadius! Thanks for coming in today! Thad: Thank you! Of course, it's a pleasure to be here! Host: First of all, congratulations on a successful VHLM season! You've had a very busy and interactive past season! You were traded midseason from Miami to Las Vegas, and ended up playing 68 games in the VHLM S75 regular season. What are your thoughts on your season? How did you feel about the trade? Thad: I thought my rookie season was a fairly successful one. We made it to the second round of the playoffs, so I was happy with that. Of course, I wish we would have went on further. The trade itself surprised me, I didn't expect it. Host: Very soft spoken. Being a one-for-one goaltender swap with Matthew A Sovick jr @matt sovick heading to Miami, maybe it was a look toward rebuilding for one team and a push for the cup for the other. You played a few games in S74 with the Halifax 21st before being drafted 21st overall to the VHLM by the two-time defending champions, Miami Marauders. And then you were traded to the Las Vegas Aces to end the season. How do you feel about your experience playing for 3 teams in the VHLM? Which team did you like the most? Thad: It was nice getting to know a lot of the people in various locker rooms. I didn't really get to know many people in Halifax before being released after they were eliminated in the S74 playoffs, and I was in the Miami locker room for quite some time. I loved playing for both Miami and Las Vegas and it would be hard to pick a favourite. However, since I spent most of my time with Miami I would say I liked playing with them a bit more. Host: Interesting stuff! As you might have known, you will be joining two Las Vegas Aces alumni and star players in New York. You've played and interacted with quite a lot members and players in the locker rooms and on the ice. Who are some of your favourite people you have played with or against? Thad: I enjoyed playing with a lot of people! Cabe McJake @RedSus, Chicken Wing @chikn, and Nathan Perry @tinafrombobsburgers were always fun in Miami. In Vegas I really liked playing with Hex Rose @Hex Universe, Linus Zetterstrom @Ledge_and_Dairy and Kelly Power @Nordin. Of course, I enjoyed my time with everyone on each team. There really weren't any bad apples that I could see. Host: Sounds like you're a people person. From the looks of things, Chicken Wing will continue to help you keep the puck out next season in New York, while the others will do their best to bury them past you. What were your goals prior to S75? Did you achieve your goals? What are your plans for the future? How are you preparing for your move up to the major league, VHL? Thad: I really wanted to be the leading VHLM goaltender by the end of S75. It didn't happen, but I'm not feeling discouraged. My plan is to be a great presence in the league, encouraging younger players, and hopefully being a top-tier goalie in the VHL in the seasons to come. I'm excited to move up to the New York Americans for S76, and right now my goal is to come in as the starter goaltender, that's my current goal. What a story that would be! (a few woops and squeaks could be heard from the background audience) Host: What kind of player do you want to be in your prime? What are your goals and expectations for S76? What are you most excited about for the next season? Thad: I want to be the veteran goaltender that others after me ask "how can I play more like you?" As I said, I want to see myself as New York's starting goaltender at the start of the season. What can I say, I'm optimistic! I'm really excited about playing in the top-tier league in the presence of even more veteran players. I'll learn a lot, that's for sure. Host: From the looks of things, you will be heading up to the New York Americans and may even find yourself taking the starting job. How do you feel about the Major league team you will be joining? How will you make sure you're going to be ready to face the task of backstopping for the VHL S75 last place team? Thad: I'm very excited about playing for the New York Americans. I think the incoming players we will have in New York will make us one of the better teams in the league by at least S77. I'm going to continue to grind my TPE, earn what I can, and be incredibly active. S76 will see a fast growing Thadius Sales, and the other players coming up with me will also grow fast. So, while they may have been last in S75, S77 and maybe even S76 will be a vast improvement. (loud cheers from the background audience) Host: Alright! Good stuff! Unfortunately, looks like we are almost out of time. Is there any parting words you want to give to the audience and the fans out there? Thad: I just appreciate everyone's support. Thank you to all who have followed me since the start of my career not that long ago. It's amazing to see where I have come after prison, and it's exciting to see where I go from here! (cheers continue as the audience applause and rise to a standing ovation) Host: : (talking over the loud background cheering) It's been a pleasure to have you join us today, Thadius! We hope to have you come on again in the future! Best of luck to you for your upcoming rookie VHL season! I look forward to seeing how far the new look New York Americans will go in Season 76! SITR: Cowboy Prout Interview
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Rhynex Entertainment's topic in Archived Media Spots
Ooohh a Head Mod review I'm not sure if Prout had an interview script to work off with but I did definite fix some of his responses up. I don't believe I've ever used any imaging, gifs, etc for any of my SITR interviews. Maybe in the future, but my main focus would be on the interviews themselves rather than beauty display -
Very nice read! Very nice sentence structure, paragraphing and display. Good use of Bold, italics, tags. Very good explanations of opinion. Love the small +/- arrows. Good info for the upcoming draft 10/10

NYA can they turn this around ?
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Prout's topic in Archived Media Spots
Good read. Could include more sentence structure, more style points such as italics, bolding, in article title, etc. Could add tags to players mentioned as well. As for response as Rhynex Entertainment, "I might keep my gloves on, but still end up throwing some punches you know some rough stuff and roughing minors as opposed to fighting majors " 9/10 -
SITR: Cowboy Prout Interview Host: Thanks for tuning into VHL Network, Stick In The Rink! Coming to you live in New York City, New York. With Season 75 officially coming to an end and the offseason and draft just around the corner, we got a chance to get in touch with two up and coming rookie prospects of the VHL New York Americans. For the first part of our show, we have elite defensive prospect, Cowboy Prout @Proutcoming in shortly. Prout played for the VHLM San Diego Marlins, and interestingly will be graduating from the Marlins in more than one way. Prout will leave the Marlin's VHLM ice and head to the front office as their new AGM and also onto the larger surface of the VHL with the New York Americans starting S76. Now please welcome Prout! (camera focuses on the audience showing a standing ovation, round of applause, and cheering, and Prout walks in) Welcome Prout! Thanks for coming in today! Prout: Thank you! Glad to be here today! Host: First of all, congratulations on a successful VHLM season! You finished second in the scoring race for a defenseman with 91 points in 72 games! What are your thoughts to your first full season in San Diego? Prout: Thank you for the interview and that comment! But yeah it was a really good experience there. I appreciate my time and the people from the Marlins organization. Ir (San Diego Marlin's AGM) who recently stepped down has really been a big part in my career and how I’ve learned. It was just a fun team and I enjoyed every bit of it. Host: What were your thoughts toward being picked 1st overall by San Diego and getting to play in the VHLM before being drafted? Prout: I was pretty vocal about this and it still shocked me being honest. I was caught off guard watching the stream and it was just cool to feel some love and support by the community. Definitely wasn’t deserved or expected. Being back there meant a lot to me and my career, I really wanted to win a championship before my jump and I’m still disappointed in myself and play for it. Host: That's fair, you don't often see a team take back a player they released with their First Overall draft selection. They must have really loved your play! What were your goals prior to S75? Did you achieve your goals? What are your plans for the future? How are you preparing for your move up to the major league, VHL? Prout: My goals as of now haven’t changed and that’s to be a solid defenseman that’s going to be used in all situations. I’d like to take on a leadership role eventually but for myself it’s balanced more in how I perform and stay consistent and not play like hot garbage. I’ll need to get better if I want to help make a positive difference here. Host: Over the course of the season, you've interacted with quite a few members and players in the locker room and on the ice. Who are some of your favourite people on the team or around the league? Prout: Honestly I’ve enjoyed everyone I’ve gotten a opportunity to speak with. I of course know Red Lite @Tate from Marlins and he’s just genuinely a good person and I respect what @dlamb and @Esso2264 have done with the New York Americans. Of course Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainmentand RJ Thatcher @jhatty8have been good to be around. Also, Thadius Sales @thadthrasher as well! Can’t miss him, he’s great and positive for the team and I’m looking forward to being on the same team with him, despite Thad GMing the Americans (Team USA) and me being on Team Canada (at the World Juniors)! I think our locker room has improved this season and I’m definitely looking forward to be playing on the New York Americans in S76. (Cheers could be heard from the background audience) Host: Awesome! It's good to see that you're already getting around the New York locker room the moment you got here! What are your goals and expectations for S76? What are you most excited about for the next season? Prout: My goals are to be still decent stat wise, but I want to not be a defensive liability and become the leader on the blueline. I feel excited to just grow and get better overall. I’m really looking forward to my first real season in the VHL as I’m hoping to have a good solid career. Host: That's good! It's good to keep things simple and grow the right way. Who has been your greatest influence so far in your career as a hockey player? What kind of player do you want to become in your prime? Prout: I’d have to say my greatest influence would be from watching the NHL stars like Shea Weber. I think what he did in his prime and for the teams he’s been on that he’s been a respected guy based on his play. He’s a leader and always has been a team guy. One more guy I’d say is Shane Doan. I’m hoping for a mix between Shea Weber and Wendall Clark. A leader but also a person who can play every night and put their all to try and be the best they can. Host: Alright! Unfortunately, looks like we are almost out of time. Is there any parting words you want to give to the audience and the fans out there? Prout: Thank you for anyone that actually sees this and took their time to do so and keep an eye out for Cowboy Prout and the New York American club! I think we all have something special here and get on that RED LITE hype train! (the crowd cheers and applauses as a standing ovation begins) Host: (talking over the loud background cheering) It's been a pleasure to have you join us today, Prout! We hope to have you come on again in the future! Best of luck to you for your upcoming rookie VHL season and AGM role in the VHLM. (Prout walks through the curtains to backstage) Now, we will be back after these messages! (continual cheers and applause could be heard from the background audience as the TV screen switches to commercials) {Commercial Break} [Word Count: 1058] [Claim for weeks ending Jan 10 and Jan 17]

SITR: Rhynex Entertainment S75 Interview
Rhynex Entertainment posted a topic in Archived Media Spots
SITR: Rhynex Entertainment S75 Interview Host: Thank you for tuning into VHL Network, Stick In The Rink! With S75 coming towards a closure, we come to you live in New York City, New York! Tonight, we have a special guest coming in. We have your very own VHL star of the New York Americans, Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment! Rhynex Entertainment is your S75 VHL Front runner Rookie of the Year candidate! Please welcome Rhynex Entertainment! (camera focuses on the audience showing a standing ovation, round of applause, and cheering. Rhynex Entertainment walks out from the backstage) Welcome Rhynex! Thanks for finding time to come in today! Rhynex Entertainment: Thank you for having me! First time coming to this studio, much different from the one in Las Vegas! Host: Of course! You're in the Big Apple now! (cheers from the audience) Shall we begin? Rhynex Entertainment: Sure, of course. Host: Perfect! Then let's start with your feelings toward your first taste of the VHL. How do you compare the VHL with the VHLM? Rhynex Entertainment: The VHL is definitely the biggest stage I've played in. My experience at the World Juniors last season is nothing compared to here! I recall being able to compete with the best of them at the World Juniors and VHLM, even as a rookie in my first year in the VHLM, but I quickly found out the difference here in the VHL. It was a major thrill to be able to keep pace with the veterans in the early parts of the season, but quickly I found myself in an early-mid season slump and never getting back into the top 10 of the leader board standings! As I score at a point per game pace later in the season, I saw the true leaders and stars pulling further away with multiple points per games. It's a thrilling experience to be able to play against so many better players. Host: You make it sound so simple and almost like you were enjoying the beatings you took out there! Our analysts showed that you got roughed up quite a bit this season. Not only were you hit 285 times during the season, but you also fought quite a bit in your early career! How do you feel about being the target of attention every night? Rhynex Entertainment: It's great! Nothing like getting free press! I'm used to getting targeted. I was a live target even in the VHLM. Nothing new there. The fact that I'm taking that much attention from the opposing team means I'm doing something right. As long as I can produce then I don't see there being any wrong. Host: It's not only you who took a beating out there. Your team also took a massive beating, losing left and right, finishing the season in last place! (the audience is being to jeer at the host as some Boos starting to erupt) How do you feel your team did? Anything you could have done more to have helped your team's standings? Rhynex Entertainment: I'm not sure what you're talking about. And the fans here are certainly holding themselves back very well. But please calm down my friends! There's nothing for you to worry about! Everything was done according to plan! Your New York Americans are on the road the glory and the first step is the coming draft! Didn't you hear? Looks like we're picking first this time around! (Loud jeers quickly become loud cheers in the background audience) Host: Of course! What are your off season plans to improve and help New York Americans out of the basement? You aren't planning to go on the backseat and hitch a ride on the @Tate train? Rhynex Entertainment: To be honest, I haven't really seen Red Lite play, and I've never been the type of player who would look toward another player to lead. I'll do what I've always done and try to improve my game and help the Americans win. I've had a good offensive season, but I still have much to improve in my defensive game, so I'll probably start there. Host: Good stuff! We are running out of time, are there any departing words for the fans out there? Rhynex Entertainment: Thank you for coming out to cheer for the Americans every night even when we are struggling out there! The future is looking BRIGHT! We are a very young team! Have faith in the process, we will dominate this league soon enough! (loud cheers and a standing ovation) Host: There we have it! Rhynex Entertainment, everyone! Thank you for coming in, we hope to see you again! (Word count 775) -
Rhynex Entertainment, also known as "The Entertainer" had a respectable, yet disappointing stint in the development minors. Known for his hardworking attitude mixed with high IQ and sleek hands, the Entertainer had an exhilarating season in the VHLM in S74 before being selected 27th Overall by the New York Americans. Interestingly, sources say the New York Americans were among the only team interested in the talented young Center who led the VHLM Las Vegas Aces on the Triple R Terror Line. Winning the Vladimir Boomchenko Trophy in S74 with Las Vegas Aces in the VHLM, the Entertainer also found himself leading Team Canada at the World Juniors Championships. However, what might have been a factor to his stock hit would probably be the lack of Post Season, Big Game success. Having disappointing results at both the World Juniors and the VHLM playoffs. Off to the Majors, Rhynex Entertainment is given the opportunity of a life time to learn by playing massive minutes on the top line of the New York Americans in the VHL. With much consideration and enthusiasm, the New York management traded for additional help, a familiar face. The Entertainer is united with Las Vegas Aces teammate and line mate Gary Rush @G_Rush. Entering the VHL season S75, Rhynex Entertainment had his AGM's @dlamb vote of confidence to be the Rookie of the Year and win S75 VHL Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy. Expectations are sky high for the Entertainer to produce on the very young New York Americans. With high expectations comes massive responsibilities. Given the "A" to start the VHL, similar to how the Entertainer's experience in the VHLM with the Las Vegas Aces went, Rhynex Entertainment and the New York Americans came out flying high. A quick start flows symmetrical to the high production from the Entertainer. The Entertainer quickly took the reins to the season and top stop of the Rookie points race. A very entertaining start! But as quickly as the New York Americans flew, the Americans fell and the Ls' quickly piled up. With the losses follows struggle and the lack thereof production. The early big lead in Rookie points quickly disappeared to former minors teammate Nicholas Sunderbruch @NickSunderbruch as the Entertainer is slammed by a pointless drought for over ten games. The drought started with multiple fighting majors, include three with the same dance rival in Jeffrey Pines @rory of the Las Angeles Stars. When all seems to be a loss of the season, came a big game against the D.C. Dragons where Rhynex Entertainment scores twice and added two apples to re-kick start the engines. The entertainer never looked back from that point on, leading the Rookie race onwards to the Christian Stolzschweiger. After what might have been a long and forgettable season for the young New York Americans team, is also a beaming start to a glorious future! Word count: 476

1. Not too bad, currently a B. Need to see the ending to determine if it's an B+ (top 10 leader of any of assist, goal, points), A- (RoY), A (RoY+top 10 in any of assist, goal, points) 2. tbh us, I did not expect us to be doing this poorly with the way we were scoring 3. hate to admit it but Vancouver has not been good against Canadian teams, Montreal has a good chance, they have 2 good goalies. 4. Cure to covid (not a vaccine) 5. Markus Schauer @Plate for most improved 6. my favourite changes a LOT, but this is pretty good...... -

What a creative article! As always very well structured and thought out. As mentioned by @Spartan, you didn't tag @G_Rush. Maybe that's why you're on the "NAUGHTY" list! Not sure if this article is reviewable, but I'll review it anyways 10/10 for holiday spirit edition -
