Edward Kenway pre draft interwiew
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Edgy Mcedgelord's topic in Archived Media Spots
Welcome to the league! Good use of Bold to distinguish between speakers. Could include descriptions of setting, environment, name/title of speaker, etc. to emphasize more of the interview. Is this a telephone call interview? Is this a live show? A recording? Any live audience? Nice provision of background information of your player. Should include word count at the very end and could also use tags as well. Keep up the good work! 7/10 -
Congratulations on being 1st Overall, that is an amazing achievement! That being said, your article wasn't that bad. Nicely structured into paragraphs to make it easy to read as opposed to one big block of words. Some spelling mistakes and grammar but I'm no grammar police, so I don't really care much about that Nice work! Could have included season expectations, your goals for Season 75. Don't be a bust 8/10

With the end of Season 74 and off-season underway, we found time to speak with VHL New York Americans prospect and Season 75 rookie, Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment Reporter: Hello Rhynex! Can we have a minute of your time? What are your thoughts toward your time in Las Vegas playing for the Aces? RE: Hello. Playing for Las Vegas have been one of the most intriguing experiences in my short hockey career! GM @Spartan has been an amazing mentor and I had great fun with the peeps in the Aces' locker room. Going to miss those guys! Reporter: You will be heading to New York to play for the Americans next season, how do you feel about this opportunity to play in the VHL? RE: I'm ecstatic to put on my skates and get out there to play next season! I'll be joining a great team and I won't be going there alone! I will have a familiar face there in Gary Rush @G_Rush. Can't wait to show what I can do in the big leagues and could you imagine a rookie line of Gary, myself and Brian Strong Jr @Wheaties? It is going to be an exciting season 75! Reporter: I know you are a busy schedule, any leaving remarks for the fans in New York? RE: There's going to be exciting times in New York soon! SITR: Miami Marauders GM Ricer13 Interview Host: Thanks for tuning into VHL Network, Stick In The Rink November 2nd VHLM Championship Finals edition! Last time we spoke live with VHLM Star forward and Center of the Las Vegas Aces, Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment. Today, we have a call with a special guest in GM @Ricer13, the General Manager of the Miami Marauder and the team whom just recently eliminated Rhynex Entertainment from Season 74 VHLM playoffs. Hello Ricer13! Thanks for giving your valuable time to speak with us today! Rice: Absolutely! Please call me Rice. Host: Thank you, Rice. Well, first of all, congratulations on making back-to-back VHLM Finals. Since you have games in Mississauga today against the Hounds, I'm sure you're very busy with Finals pre-game prep. So let's begin. Rice: Thank you! Much appreciated. Host: With your most recent victory over the Las Vegas Aces, what were your thoughts on the series as a whole? What was going through your mind and the Marauder's Locker Room when you went up 3-0 in the series? What about when Las Vegas abruptly stormed back with 3 wins of their own and forcing the spectacular winner take all game 7? Rice: Overall the series had its ups and downs of emotions. You’re excited and in utter shock and awe when you go up 3-0 against a team like Vegas. Them coming back with 3 straight after that definitely put the team on edge. At the end of it all we got the job done and the series was one of my favourite to have ever been a part of. Host: Your team was the last team to qualify for Season 74 VHLM playoffs. Having to instantly go against the overwhelming favourites in Halifax 21st, and then pulling the upset and beating them in a 7 game series. Did your team celebrate after beating the Top Seat Halifax 21st in the First round? Were there any celebrations after the game 7 victory in Las Vegas? Rice: You know I have preached to my team all season about staying humble. Don’t get ahead of yourselves in terms of excitement. We celebrated in our locker room after each series but we kept reminding ourselves that the job is not done. After every game we remembered to respect our opponents because it could have easily been us going home. Host: Well spoken! You have successfully triumphed against all odds, taking out the top seats of both conferences after squeaking into the playoffs. What is your outlook toward how your team has been so successful in the Season 74 VHLM playoffs? Rice: After beating Halifax I just chalked it up to luck and hard work. After beating Vegas is when I really started to compare teams with them and any potential opponents after that. We may have been long shots to make the playoffs but the players have worked their asses off and if you look at our roster compared to any other we have a top team. Imagine starting the season with the roster and skill we have now. Would be have been 8th? Unlikely! Host: With the VHLM Championship Finals starting today, you are matched up against the 4th seat in Mississauga Hounds. What are your thoughts toward your Finals' matchup? How do you feel your current team matches up in comparison to your S73 team? Is this the 2012 NHL LA Kings equivalent? Rice: To be honest our teams match up really well. We are both deep in the front and have elite top pairing defenders. (Vsevolod) Askarov @Gooningituphas been a monster for them this post season but (Rara) Rasputin @Victor has also been that for us. It’s going to be a back and forth series and it could go either way. Host: With how things have gone so far in your Season 74 VHLM playoffs, who do feel has been your team's Playoffs MVP? Regardless of what the results to this season's Championship Finals series, what are your team's plan for the future? Would the team's future plans be any different if you had back-to-back Finals losses? Or if your team wins the Season 74 VHLM Championship Trophy? Rice: Right now it’s between Cabe McJake @RedSusand Rara Rasputin. Both have been outstanding for the Marauders this post season and both have incredible futures ahead of them. As for our future plans, Miami plans on continuing to compete. We have a core of players who will be coming back next season and I plan to surround them with high end talent in this seasons draft. I expect we will be making another run to the playoffs. The plan will remain the same. It was to make the playoffs. Once you’re in you never know what’s going to happen. Win or lose this season was of the upmost success. Host: As one of the newest teams to join the VHLM, the Miami Marauders have been incredibly successful. Already off to a back-to-back Championship Finals appearance, what are your plans toward bringing the Miami Marauders to yet another Championship Finals appearance next season, making it back-to-back-to-back Finals? In your mind, could this be the start of a modern day Dynasty for the Miami Marauders? Rice: As I explained previously it’s going to be surrounding my core players with the right pieces. It is a very deep draft so making sure to select the right fit for your roster is going to be key. It’s hard to build a dynasty in the VHLM but I am going to do my best to make that happen. Host: With your match against the Mississauga Hounds starting shortly, I won't take up too much more of your time. Is there any parting words you want to give to the team's supporters and fans out there? Rice: I hope you have enjoyed the show as much as we have. Thanks to everyone who have supported us along this journey I hope to bring you home a trophy in the very near future. Host: Thank you very much for your time, Rice! Good luck in the Finals against Mississauga! We hope to hear from you again in the future! [Word count: 1031] [claim for weeks ending Nov 8 and Nov 15]

Season 74 VHLM Playoffs Review - Rhynex Entertainment and the Las Vegas Aces After a shortcoming in Round 2 Semi-Finals of the VHLM, @Rhynex Entertainment Rhynex Entertainment's career in the VHLM ends in disappointment as the young Center from Vancouver, Canada heads into the offseason pondering of what might could have been. (39) Leading the 2nd ranked, and Top of the Western Conference, 51-14-7 Las Vegas Aces into the Season 74 VHLM playoffs. Rhynex Entertainment was upbeat and ready for a long playoffs run, with possible championship outlooks for Las Vegas Aces GM @Spartan, to close off his VHLM career before heading to the big leagues in New York and play of the New York Americans next season. Coming off a tremendous regular season with 43 goals, league leading 71 assists, and totalling 114 points, the Entertainer continues his aggressive production in the first round of the playoffs against the Mexico City Kings. (100) The Mexico City Kings were pushed aside by the Las Vegas Aces quickly in 5 games. Las Vegas swiftly and smoothly over-powered the Kings with a torrent offense that scored 19 goals in 5 games to oust the Kings and head into the Semi-Finals matched up against Miami Marauders, Season 73's Top Seat and Runner-up. Rhynex Entertainment had a spectacular series, finishing with 2 goals and 5 assists. The assist leader goes assist per game to help Las Vegas Aces into the second round. However, everything seemed to go wrong against last season's Finalist and Runner-up. (96) Rhynex Entertainment and Las Vegas Aces found themselves spooked and down quickly against the Marauders. Suddenly up against a super hot goaltender in @VictorRara Rasputin, Las Vegas loses 3 games straight and going down 0-3 in the series. With just 4 goals in those 3 games, the Aces suddenly went into a very cold streak and faced elimination in a horrible and humiliating manner. Especially for the seemingly unstoppable top line of the Aces, which end up with only one goal in the 3 games scored by Gary Rush @G_Rush in game 2. Entertainment could be said to have gone shell-shocked as he mustered 0 points and a minus two in those said games. With their backs against the wall, Rhynex Entertainment and the Aces crawled back into the series one game at a time, starting with a huge game by Nicholas Sunderbruch @NickSunderbruch who scored a hat trick to keep the season alive. Aces won game 4 by a score of 4-1, the Entertainer potted his first goal and point of the series to seal the deal and force game 5. While the Aces were miraculously able to force a game 7, they evidently failed to push past the Marauders and coming up short, losing game 7 3-5. The Semi-Finals gave Rhynex Entertainment a Vietnam flashback of the World Junior's Championships with Canada, as he managed to only muster 2 goals in the 7 games, scoring his second in the game 7 lost. (246) The end of Rhynex Entertainment's VHLM season came with the loss and what a way to go out for the Season 74 regular season assist king. 0 assists in 7 games against the Miami Marauders! Only time will tell if this loss and series means anything to the Entertainer. Would this Miami series build a fire and see Rhynex Entertainment steal the show with incredible apples and a ROTY in New York next season? Or would apples be as scarce as seeing pigs fly? Mississauga Hounds Team Review
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Blazzer's topic in Archived Media Spots
Good healthy article with plenty of information on a possible Championship finals match up for the Las Vegas Aces. Easy to read with separated structuring. Could include review on the season performance of the team. How the team might perform for the future. Opinion on direction of the team with no picks in the foreseeable future. Could include opinion on management performance, etc. Interesting read and good information lazy scouts 9/10 -
Top 3 Candidates for the Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy
Rhynex Entertainment replied to a topic in Archived Media Spots
Great article about three outstanding rookie players for this season! I am assuming the Christian Stolzschweiger trophy is the rookie of the year award as I am still very unfamiliar with trophy names for this league. Excellent formatting and structure. Easy to read. Could have added player TPE stat line as an addition to possibly show contrast between players. Could have provided personal opinion on who you think wins it all. 9/10 -
SITR: Rhynex Entertainment Interview Host: Thanks for tuning into VHL Network, Stick In The Rink! Today we have a special guest! Coming live in Las Vegas, Nevada, we have VHLM star forward, Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment Rhynex Entertainment is the star Center of our very own Las Vegas Aces! Please welcome Rhynex Entertainment! (camera focuses on the audience showing a standing ovation, round of applause, and cheering. Rhynex Entertainment walks out from the backstage) Welcome Rhynex! Thanks for finding time to come in today! Rhynex Entertainment: Thank you for having me! First time having a featured interview, kind of nervous. (laughter could be heard from the audience) Host: First of all, congratulations on the Aces' making the playoffs as the Top seat of the Western Conference of the VHLM! I know you must be very busy preparing for the playoffs this week against the Mexico City Kings, so let's get started. Rhynex Entertainment: Much thanks! Host: Let's begin with how you feel about the VHL S74 draft, and being selected by the New York Americans. What are your thoughts on being selected by New York? Rhynex Entertainment: I'm ecstatic by being drafted by New York. While I had my focus on my season with Las Vegas Aces, and I haven't been following closely with my parent team, the New York Americans looks like they are in the midst of a rebuild. But I feel like the future is promising! On defense, we have two studs in Michael Gary Scott @Motzaburger and Hugh Jass @TheFlash. With Michael and Hugh, I feel we can focus on forwards and goaltending. That's where I come in. I've played against Bacon @Bacon last season in the VHLM, so I know how good he is. I'll need to step up my game for next season when I look to join in the fun! And to makes things even better, I have this season's VHLM points and goals leader joining me in Brian Strong Jr. @Wheaties. It's going to be exciting times in New York! But don't get me too excited. My focus is winning the VHLM Championship with my Las Vegas Aces this season. We can talk about VHL next year. (Loud cheering from the audience with the mention of winning the VHLM championship for Las Vegas) Host: Awesome stuff! You had an amazing season with the Las Vegas Aces this year, easily smashing your personal bests and leading the league in the assists department. Tell us about your season and how your teamwork with Gary Rush @G_Rush and Chris Reynolds @Crstats23. What made your line such a formidable time to play against? How were you so successful this season? Rhynex Entertainment: Gary and Chris are two of the best players I've played with so far in hockey. I had great chemistry playing with Chris last season as a rookie along with Kasey Tamm @kesytamm. But this season is different. Both Kasey and Chris are Left Wings. This season, we have Gary playing on our Right Wing. When we have everyone playing in their correct positions, it does makes things more simple. Chemistry was easily built between the three of us, it was practically instant! And we just rolled with it and look where we are! Chris and Gary both sit in top 5 in scoring and points! They make things very easy for me. Two terrific goal scorers, both with at least 50 goals! All I needed to do is pass the puck to one of their sticks and it's in the back of the opposing net. Easy apples! Hopefully, we can carry forward this momentum into the playoffs where defense will tighten up. Host: Good stuff. I'm sure you'll do us proud! I've heard around and was told that you have the nickname, the Entertainer. How did you come about with that nickname? Rhynex Entertainment: Well I'm not sure actually. I guess it's probably something to do with my last name being Entertainment and I guess I entertain people with my performance? (laughter could be heard from the audience) Host: Ha ha ha! Well you sure do put up great performances out there on the ice! Let’s talk about your performance at the Junior World Championships this season with Team Canada! How was the experience playing for Canada? You came up short of a medal in the tournament, what did you take from the battle of the nations? Rhynex Entertainment: Yes, it was a good experience playing for Team Canada at the Junior World Championships. Being able to represent your country is always a wonderful feeling! While we did fell short in the Bronze Medal game against USA, I didn't leave with nothing. Being voted as a tournament all-star feels great but what I got out of playing for Canada was a start up with my goal scoring. I entered the tournament with barely cracking 20 goals and scored that mighty 6 goals in my first game wearing the Red, White and Maple Leaf. What a confidence booster that was! Now I finished my VHLM season with 43 goals! I couldn't even crack 19 last season! It was an excellent experience! You don't get to play for your home country every day. When the chance arrives, you just need to go out there and enjoy it. Hopefully I'll get a second chance to play and bring back a medal! Host: With the playoffs against Mexico City Kings this week, what are your playoffs ritual? How are your preparations coming? You mentioned your focus is on winning the VHLM Championships, who do you think will likely be your most devastating obstacle this playoffs? Rhynex Entertainment: The playoffs are a whole new beast. Anyone who makes it into the playoffs have a chance to win the Championship trophy. If a goaltender gets hot, they can steal the tournament. If players suddenly get hot, the same thing can happen as well! I don't really have any playoffs rituals, I guess I shave? I had a great season, but we're a hungry bunch. We are not done. We are not satisfy with just being the top seat of the Western Conference. We played the season to seat on top for home ice advantage, so we can play for the Championship Trophy and bring Las Vegas fans playoff hockey games! (cheers starting to pick up from the audience) We will not stop until we have won it all! Host: It's good to hear the confidence in your voice! We are out of time. Any last words to the fans out there? Rhynex Entertainment: Thank you for coming out to cheer for the Aces! We are going to put everything out there! Let this year be the year we bring home a Championship! (loud cheers and a standing ovation) Host: There we have it! Rhynex Entertainment, everyone! Good luck in the VHLM Playoffs! We will see you next time! (Total word count: 1,149) (Claim for weeks ending Oct 25 and Nov 1st)

Rhynex Entertainment replied to oilmandan's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. To be honest, we did better than I had predicted at season start 2. I failed to carry the pride of Canada 3. There will not be a biggest opponent. Post season is a refresh, whoever gets hot will win the championship 4. social distance 5. cat 6. we're a wholesome team, anyone not on the team is less wholesome -
Beautiful work of art. You've started with a brief introduction and followed with your descriptive analysis and opinion, which were all very well written. Structure is easy to read. Nicely and neatly separated into neat sections. I only know of Edwin (possibly because I'm newer to this league and Edwin is the only non-HOF and active player on your list). It's nice to read about some legends of the game before I joined. History is always nice. Happy to be able to view this. Keep up the great work! 10/10

Rhynex Entertainment replied to JigglyGumballs's topic in Archived Media Spots
Amazing job! I can't even start to believe how much time you've spent on this project! 3000 words that involves excellent, easy to read neat structuring, stats to back up writing. Thorough descriptive artwork! Love your analysis work on each player to go along with the statistics. You even added in a tweet! Could have made it even long if you added a goal/mission for each player as well Keep up the good work! Now take a little break and rest for a few weeks! 10/10 -
Las Vegas Aces Press Conference
Rhynex Entertainment replied to oilmandan's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. It says we have a really nice looking, good team. 2. Depth is always important, cannot be a one line, much less one man team if you want to win a championship 3. My boy Chris Reynolds, going to miss that guy when we head our separate ways to the VHL next year 4. Don't need to fix what's not broken 5. Giving my thanks 6. CANADA and apparently I was more or less a one man team -
Mid-season interview with Lee Xin
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Blazzer's topic in VHL.com Articles
I hope the opponents you're punching are not already on their butts when you punch them Hopefully they are on their feet, skating and not you heading in there to punch when they are already down for the count ? -
Nice and short article. Could use more structure to the article, seems quite plain. Could add spacing, boldness, paragraphing, etc. Could be useful to add stats into context for more descriptive emphasis. Sits first place with 3 points lead, how is this 3 points situated; who's chasing? Wins, OT Losses? How many games have gone by? Could make comparison with other teams' players to emphasize why teams trailing are similar in strength. 5/10

Mid-season interview with Lee Xin
Rhynex Entertainment replied to Blazzer's topic in VHL.com Articles
Nice quick and simple interview! Colour coding the speaker is especially helpful for readers. Could use more background situational descriptions to tell where interview was taken place; anyone else near by? Is this a press conference or hallway interview, etc. I love the Muay Thai part, but don't get arrested for excessive use of force 8/10 -

1. I need to start hitting the net and scoring. 2. I will be joining current VHLM MVP so hopefully we can make something special in NY 3. We have great depth behind a super line 4. Are we still considered a dark horse? 5. Tea, don't drink coffee 6. League assist man, I'm close to the top, 2 off from 1st place
