Journalist: This is a big off-season for you this year. You just won the cup in the VHLE and you are starting your VHL career in just a few weeks. How do you plan to be ready while still being able to celebrate?

Von Carstein: Well, I did celebrate quite a lot, this was the only season I could win that trophy and I'm really much happy that we did but I'll tell you honestly, I,m already past the celebrations. I can't afford to take a break before my rookie season and my main focus right now is to improve my defensive game the most I can.

Journalist: A lot of fans in Vancouver will be happy to hear that. Will you be watching the draft next week?

Here we are watching other flaunt around like little princesses as they continue to play playoff hockey; like they are so much better than Vancouver Wolves!! ugh! 2.     Congrats to Logan Ninefingers @Scurvy, Mikko Borisyuk @Minebro and Vlad Von Carstein @Dom on winning the Renaissance Cup. Who partied the hardest after winning the cup? Why and what do you think they did?

 

 

3.     Sadly, for every winner there needs to be a loser so sadly DB IV was one of our prospects on the losing end of the Renaissance Cup finals. What would you have to say to DB IV @wcats after losing the finals like that?

 

 

4.     What is better playing against players you don`t really know or playing against someone that you know and respect?

 

 

5.     What is one hockey motto that you can think of or that your player would clearly believe in completely?

Lots of people playing innocent here, be sorry for what you did for the 5 minutes of glory instead of making up excuses. I myself commented on a trade once and I’m sorry for it. This league should be fun for everyone and GMing is a big part of that fun that gets ruined by toxicity.

I like the depreciation fighter dialog. One thing I thought should have been addressed is the ratios. Since the depreciation was raised and is brutal for no reason, I think using the old ratios for the fighters doesn't make sense. So I am asking for an increase of protection. Maybe lower the cost too. I really don't see why the league is so harsh with a players career if they earn a lot. Seems like high end player retention isn't even a thing. Maybe it's easier to control low earners, not sure of the reason but retention of high earners should be considered as well as new players.

I think the purpose of depreciation is to simulate the aging of your player. While it can be annoying on the user side, it also avoid most players to be at their peak when they retire. We do need that downhill at some point on a players carreer. Yet, most max earners still retire at their top build.

though, I believe the main reason why we didn’t extend careers in the past was for records purpose, yet we have crossed that bridge in S83 by bringing a ninth season. Would it be that bad to make it possible to play as much seasons as you can afford or earn and make it even harder at each extra seasons?

Every top earner players end their career with extra money. Maybe make it crazy expensive so that they still have a reason to save up and if they do manage to do it, it will be well earned?

This is the perfect thread for everyone who wants to be vocal about anything in the league that they think could be improved or fixed. Take it like a public BOG and GMs share it in your locker room please.
