1. Hmm, to be honest from my standpoint I think the satisfaction of drafting a player and seeming them succeed is better than just hopefully grabbing someone good from free agency or in a trade, but overall I think to get good you need to make the risk, so acquiring players outside of the draft is sometimes necessary. 2. Zetterberg's new player Tyler Reinhart was dominant for Yukon, so I'd have to go with him or one of the other Yukon fellas in the draft like the other Reinhart, Papa, or Jokinen 3. Fart! Poop! Doody! - The Boss Baby. The movie of a generation. 4. ...Toronto 5. I'm a sucker for card games, so probably President because I can play that for hours and it's a great drinking game. 6. To be groovy @bigAL

Heyo @Mr Bohannan My name is Juice, and I'm the General Manager of the Yukon Rush. The Yukon Rush are the latest Founder's Cup Champions coming out of the latest season, and although most of our core roster is gone, we would absolutely love to have you fill into the new look Rush! To start your career here in the VHLM, we are offering you 2nd Line Minutes. While on paper the Rush aren't the favourites for the season, we weren't last year and we ended up with the Cup, so you never know what might happen if you dawn the Rush jersey! We here at the Rush franchise prides itself on taking newer users in the league and helping grow them into stars. There's a lot of details for you to learn and Yukon is the perfect place to learn, with both myself and AGM @fromtheinside who are very hands on. There is no shortage of resources at your disposal. If you like the sounds of this, quote my post here and reply with #FeelTheRush. Doing this will signify you want to sign with Yukon. From there, we will send you and offer and get in touch about joining the Team Discord. Regardless of who you choose, I hope you enjoy your time here in the VHL! All the best!

Happy Birthday, VHL! I still remember the day where @dlamb created and made me his 5th multi almost a year ago now and we both becoming VHLM GMs. Now he left me to go to the VHL, dirtbag.

Review: It's always so fire when people make hockey cards for their player graphics as I'm a sucker for hockey cards. Bonus points for the hilarious stat page (don't worry bud, one day you'll get a butt-deflection goal at least). I think the "Buff Bull" card is pretty overall nice, however I would of loved if you went the early 2000's route of hockey cards and just added the crazy effects they did back then rather than just a jersey swap. Overall I think this was a really great idea and well executed, and I'd give you a 8/10!

Review: I'm really digging the colour scheme with the purple background, as it meshes will with the jersey colour. That as well as I really, really like the font choice for your player's name here, I think the faded effect on the last name with the handwritten cursive first name works so great and for my next graphic I might try to do something similar. Overall a fabulous vibe on your newest player's graphic, and I'd give you a solid 9/10, would be a 10/10 but I'm not the biggest fan when player graphics have NHL logos involved (despite knowing you're not drafted yet).

Sup fellas, I know some people are making huge mock drafts for their media spots to cheese it a bit for extra claim time, but who really wants to be an adult and do a bunch of reading when you could quickly just see who should go where in a quick sentence. 1. Los Angeles Stars - Tyler Reinhart. Be an agent of chaos LA, draft the BPA despite the Reinhart bros wanting to play together. 2. Vancouver Wolves - Jerome Reinhart. Vancouver drafts the next Reinhart soon afterwards to drive in a cold war between Vancouver and LA on who will trade what Reinhart to who. 3. Vancouver Wolves - AJ Williams. AJ is one of the next big first-gens that seem to be a gem, and I wouldn't be surprised if he lands top-3. 4. HC Davos Dynamo - Jonathan Ori. A big time recreate, Davos needs to have a C of the future behind Taro once he starts regressing and I think Ori can step in sooner than later. 5. Moscow Menace - Papa Emeritus. I don't think Spartan lets Papa drop past him, as Moscow would need a star G and Papa is exactly that in the making. 6. Riga Reign - Taylor Mourning. With the lack of top forwards left and already being solid on D, I'd see Riga taking the next best forward available. 7. Warsaw Predators -Erlantz Jokinen. Despite dlamb being a goof and probably trading this pick for a 3rd in two years, Warsaw would desperately need a star goalie or defenseman, and if Papa is off the board I'd see them taking Jokinen. 8. Helsinki Titans - Poopy Peepants. Rayz picks based on best name available. 9. Prague Phantoms - Em Em Flex. I could honestly see Helsinki also taking Flex, however I'd say if they don't Prague would as both their goaltenders are hitting regression and need a goalie of the future. 10. Malmo Nighthawks - Miroslav Tsarov. Malmo desperately needs good defensemen, however with the lack of top prospects in D left in the position, I'd say they go BPA in Tsarov. 11. Seattle Bears - Sigard Petrenko. Seattle grabs the next best player available in Petrenko, which helps as they need wing help sooner than later and with Petrenko's earning he could be on the roster within the next few seasons. 12. Vancouver Wolves - Baby Bob. Another great first-gen, I think Vancouver would be killing this draft if Baby Bob drops to them here. 13. Seattle Bears - Lilith Lunar. I'd think with so many prospects in the same TPE and earning range here, I think Seattle goes for a positional need and takes Lunar. 14. Chicago Phoenix - Omi Aberg. Chicago drafts the best player available, which also happens to be a positional need with the regression of their big stars. 15. Malmo Nighthawks - John Baard. The draft starts to fall off a bit here, but I think Malmo gets a good player in Baard that does more than practice + welfare and could turn into a solid player for them in the future. 16. Malmo Nighthawks - Bob Beach. Malmo uses their last pick in the 1st round to shoot their shot on a positional need and will say they "Picked the better Bob, just you wait." Thank you for reading the 50th mock draft you've probably already read. (549 words)

Yukon Rush Press Conference (for week ending in 7/18) 1. The off-season can be long and painful. Does your player have any plans to kill the boredom until the next season starts? 2. Yukon doesn't have any top picks in this draft so far, and with some big time recreates it should be a hell of a draft. Should we attempt to move-up? 3. This upcoming season will be the last season before the VHLE era begins. Do you think the VHLM will be impacted by this, or will things stay relatively the same? 4. Any super early predictions on who you think should go far into the playoffs next season? 5. The VHLM Awards Show came out, and oh boy did Yukon absolutely kill it in the award department (Shoutout to Regular Season MVP @Zetterberg and Playoff MVP @JB123)! Do you think this means we had an extra special season on our hands? 6. Controversial Opinion of the Week: I think that rats are the dopest and coolest pets to own, despite not having one yet. I know some people are absolutely terrified of rodents, but man I'd love me to get a little rat-bro to come chill on my shoulder while I watch a movie. Thoughts?

As far as we talked, you wanted to setup a future for the next GM. While you geared up plenty for S80 which is a good draft, you also already traded Toronto's 1st for the next GM's first draft after your gone. While I agree you'll be able to grab some top tier talent as S80 seems to be relatively stacked, I also remember how Rayz was a top pick and how he was dealt with here (6th overall to 3 minutes average a game) so I'm not exactly hopeful for you only betting on S80 and recreates. Does Toronto have a future? Of course, you got a good core and are betting hard on S80, I just don't appreciate being flipped for picks because you specifically mentioned wanting picks for the future GM and then trading several picks in S81 including a 1st which would be their first draft. Let's just hope those S80 picks pan out.

Not going to lie, when I get asked to please do a sign-and-trade so you get at least some comfort if I decided not to come back to Toronto (despite me clearly stating that I wanted to pull a dlamb and test the market and most likely going back to my original team) so you could hoard picks and prospects for a future GM and then 180 after my trade and then trade away a lot of those "for the future GM" picks, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Does it help the team now? For sure, the trades were pretty good overall and brought in some good players for Toronto. But when I'm pleaded with to do a sign-and-trade because you wanted to have a future for Toronto since "I was left in such a bad spot when I took over Toronto because I had no picks, no prospects, no future and I wouldn't want that for any future GM" and you immediately go against that, just yikes. I wanted to be a one-team player, even if it was on an atrociously bad team for my entire career, but not when I lose utter trust in the GM over countless actions the past few seasons, and I think how this went down shows it was a good idea to head out.

Wow. Just wow. Going into that last Game 6 sim, I was biting my nails and all but expecting us to head to a Game 7 after the previous few sims, mostly due to the talks of "Oh yeah, STHS loves an upset after going up 3-1". But when Devise hit the simulation button and the Rush came out on top, I don't doubt that my neighbors probably heard me scream in surprise. After a rough S77 season where the writing was on the wall pretty much after the first 15-30 games and we had to have the hard discussion of rebuilding or just riding it out, and ending up opting for the former (which also helped led me to getting pied, cheers @thadthrasher), going into this season it felt like the world was on my shoulders to make sure it didn't happen again. And looking back on all the management decisions both myself and @fromtheinside pulled, it just makes me proud of how everything turned out. Grabbing guys like @JB123 and @hockeyis66super late into the S77 draft and eventually both becoming top 20 picks in the VHL draft, making moves like bringing in @diamond_ace and @dart who both became top contributers, and overall most of our draft moves and picks ended up working in our favour by getting big time players like @Zetterberg and @Beketov who were amazing in the locker-room as well. I'm just so proud of all the players that really made this an entire team effort to go for the cup this season, as it wasn't just the win that was important to me, but to have a fun team atmosphere in the locker-room as well (the tight race between Z and Bek for the leaderboard of game pick was hilarious). I think that it helped make the win in the end all that much more sweet, and in a way bittersweet knowing that we won't have most of the players on the team back for next season as they're mostly going up to the VHL. I just wanted to give my huge gratitude to my squad, as each and every one of you deserves this cup
