  5. After a few seasons of silence, former VHL player turned agent Matthew Boragina has finally found a player he hopes will not only become a VHL regular, but also become a prominent player within the league. Boragina filed the paperwork necessary for his newest client, Elias Sobeck, to be eligible for the S58 VHL Entry Draft. Not long after the announcement, he helped facilitate a one year deal with the Oslo Storm so that Sobeck can get some pro experience prior to the draft. Sobeck, a dynamic offensive center, hopes to one day join the ranks of the elite VHL players. The announcement of a new client for the former player comes as a bit of a surprise to some in the VHL community. Not long after retiring, Boragina found a very gifted offensive talent in Russian born player Yuri Girgorenko and convinced him to declare for the VHL. Most would assume that Boragina would be able to bring in more talent, but were shocked when all he could muster up was a promising looking defensemen in Mikkel Boomgaarden who turned out to be a lackluster VHL defensemen, and then a bust of a player in Lars Siktanc. Elias Sobeck appears to be the redemption project for Boragina. While some of the VHL GM’s might be scared to select another client of the talented former player, Boragina hopes that he can prove that he still has an eye for talent.
  6. I was hoping someone was going to get it. Yes it is, just a masculine version of Elisabet. Honestly, one of the best games I've played recently.
  7. Accepted. Looked over the rosters, and I think this will be the best fit for Sobeck. Appreciate the interest from all the teams, especially after my last few players fizzled out. Good luck to the other four moving forward.
  8. Do I have to sign with a team before I can start updating?
  9. This can't possibly go worse than my last attempt at a player. Can it? Whats going on buddy?

Price hasn't been up to snuff, its true. And as far the defense goes, I cringe every time its not Weber/Mete on the ice. Benn is looking bad. Almost makes Davidsson look half decent.

Yeah but Benn is just limited talent wise. I guess he's a safe bet, but still better than Streit. Jerabek will be called up and could play those puck moving minutes

I love me some Mete though

  12. You're on X1 no? I like the overall feel so far. That is until we all find that EA flaw.
  13. No one is on that NHL 16 EASHL beta?
  14. May his failures never be brought up again.
  15. Just got Madden15 the other day, as it is currently on 25 bucks on PSN. Game is amazing and makes the NHL series look like complete and total dog shit. MUT is actually awesome. I'm loving the experience so far.
  16. NEW YORK – What once looked like a promising career that looked like it would lead to stardom, slowly started to turn to that of a career role player. Mikkel Boomgaarden was at one point a top ranked prospect who had been selected fourth overall by the New York Americans in Season 39. Without much warning, Boomgaarden suddenly stopped showing up to practice and to team functions, only showing up to play games and then return home without speaking a word to his teammates. But the dark days of seclusion look to be over for the American defender, as he has finally started to show up around the arena and even looks interested in playing the sport again. While he might not be able to achieve the numbers that most expected from him at the beginning, he now has the chance to rise and become more than just a role player in the league. One thing is for sure however: Mikkel Boomgaarden is back.
