  1. Damn, can we do that irl now????
  2. 9/10, great read (glad to see Miami in the top 5). I like how it isn't purely based on standings. Maybe might be a bit too much emphasis on winning and losing streaks though? I'm not sure how much affect those have on STHS. A good amount written for each team. It would be interesting to see a graphic with it maybe, that'd look amazing. I'd also include a word count to go along with it, just to make it a bit easier for updaters. Grammar all looks good along with formatting (aside for light mode smh). Anyways, amazing read. Looking forward to more in the future from you!
  3. 1.) Bit late for this, but I thought we'd win 2.) Alexander The Great 3.) Very 4.) Houston, idk why 5.) Apple 6.) Yes, getting candy
  4. 1.) Great, glad to have Rockstar bring in a good rookie class! 2.) Give everyone exactly enough TPE to hit 250 3.) Yukon, knocked us out and now we're gonna do what Dan Campbell said, we're gonna get back off and bite off a kneecap, then when you knock us back down a second time we're gonna get back up and take out your other kneecap then if you knock us down a third time we're gonna get back up and take another hunk out of ya 4.) Yeah, aside from diScIpLiNe 5.) Madam Secretary and Mr. Mayor 6.) Scuba Diving, at Tunnels Beach in Kauai, HI
  5. Trevor Wallace was recently drafted in the second round by the Los Angelas Aces recently, so I hit him up to see what he thought. Note that an I denotes an interview question and a TW denotes Trevor. I: Thanks for taking the time to talk to me Trevor, how do you feel about heading to LA? TW: I'm ready, ready to work even harder. Two teams counting on me, one for now and one for the future. It's time that I go make sure that I get a chance to make those cities proud. I: Trevor, what do you want to do differently this season? TW: I feel like I need to lead my team more. It's my job to make sure that we get a chance to succeed. The more we work the better we'll do. I: What's your outlook for the season? TW: Nothing more than winning it all. Our forwards are electric, we got a solid defense, and if a puck occasionally slips by them, Hutchy is there in goal to bail us out. I mean, Hutchy was amazing last season, and with even more development this offseason, wow that's gonna be amazing. Thanks Trevor, good luck in LA for the future and in Miami right now! --- 211 Words
  6. I'm definitely interested. I know I'm new to the league but I am active. Send some questions my way when you get the chance please!!!
  7. 9/10. Good read (miss ya in Miami Toast). Only thing to improve would be maybe adding a picture with a caption (something I should probably work on). But besides that, looks great!
  8. 8.5/10. Great read, however there were a few gramatical errors, I'd suggest using Grammarly. Maybe add a caption for the picture? Besides that, definitely a great read!
  9. Next season, Miami will be the best team in the Victory Hockey League Minors. I believe that we can win this if we work hard. We have a team that is willing to work hard. We have forwards that have developed. We have new defensemen that will develop. We have a goalie who saves everything that comes his way. We have an experienced general manager looking to make a name for himself again. We are hungry, and we will go all the way. Development will be critical, but with VHL general managers pushing our players that were drafted this season to earn TPE, we will rise to the top. We will continue to learn, to get better, in order to strive. Last season we were on the verge of success, so we will be back hungrier. We want the cup, and we will go all out for the cup. Stopping for nothing less than success. --- 155 words (would be longer but I gtg to bed)
  10. This season all started when I was drafted in the third round, with 68 TPE in the VHLM dispersal draft, and was considered a huge reach. That was... ugly. From there I decided, well I guess I need to earn every... single... day. And so, aside from last week, I got 12 capped TPE every week. Due to wanting to prove everyone wrong. Though I did put TPE in both discipline and leadership (whyyyyyy sigh). Yeah, ok, that was the dumb part. I then went on to be the first star in my first game. That was amazing. Then I got onto the first line. That allowed me to increase my draft stock. My teammates in Miami and I made it to the playoffs, only to lose in OT in game six and go home empty-handed (though that'll change next season). From there I went on to finally miss a week of getting 12 capped TPE, and then came draft-day. I went in the early second round to the Los Angeles Stars (thank you Josh). A team that hadn't interviewed me picked me, and that made me pretty excited. So... onto looking forward. I think Miami can go all the way this year... here is why. 1.) Our forwards are going to be electric. Do not be surprised if we are scoring high amounts every week. 2.) Even with Ricer gone, Rockstar came in and seeing that he has experienced, I trust him a lot. 3.) Got some good defensemen in the draft, that'll help us a lot. 4.) We made a run last season, we have only developed more (surprise, that was Ricer's plan) and I think that this is the season we make a run for it all. 5.) We got the work ethic to earn and develop even more. Now for my very long term plans. I hope to be able to make a name for myself in Los Angeles. I am planning on resigning there assuming I get a fair offer after three seasons, but that should end up fine. Eventually I want to make a statement. My build should end up with 99 Offense, 99 Defense, 99 puck handling. Checking and passing should get to 90, and the rest to 80 (aside from leadership and such) and that's not just a pipe dream, I truly plan to try to do that. It'll be hard, but it's possible. I do plan to be a consistant earner, and I hope to prove to the league that Josh made a good chance by selecting me this season and Ricer made a good choice bringing me to Miami last season. In fact, I hope to make it so that not only do those seem like good selections, but they seem like huge steals. It's time for Trevor Wallace to show the league what he's all about. Time for me to prove that I'm a consistant earner and am going to be the best first gen player from this draft. It's time, for the career of Trevor Wallace to flash before everyones eyes! --- 513 Words

  14. Congrats Ricer!!! Without a doubt, a well deserved promotion!
  15. 1.) Napoleon definitely played well and should've gotten one. 2.) Some sort of award for whoever gains the most TPE during the season. 3.) Miami, and I'm ready to make another run for it all! 4.) 12 capped every week, and practice too. 5.) I'm vegetarian so... pizza by a mile 6.) Michigan
  16. Could've been a game changer if he was active...
  17. I'm gonna miss you a lot Toast, deserving of MVM for sure
  18. Trevor Wallace: Hard Working, Yet Gambling Everything Trevor Wallace is a two way forward who is more likely at the moment to rack up assists than goals. At the time of February 16th, in 72 games the the 19-year old had 32 assists and 17 goals. He started the season at 68TPE and is currently at 142 TPE (with 20 TPE in pending updates. Wallace is also a two way forward. He actually volunteered to play defenseman for a bit when Miami was having defenseman woes. Most of Trevor’s time this season was spend on Miami’s first line giving him valuable experience against some of the best players in VHLM. When Trevor is on the ice his team performs well, Trevor currently has a plus-minus of 19. However he isn’t the most accurate shooter as he has 17 goals in... 125 shots. Trevor performed better on the top line than the third line. His numbers dropped off tremendously with less minutes and there are some some concerns as in the last ten games Trevor only has one point and plus minus of negative two. He’s been disciplined though, with only 24 minutes in the box. He has 89 hits only, sadly. He also hasn’t been good with faces offs, but says he’ll work on those this offseason. Now let’s get to the intangibles. Trevor has been very dedicated to his team and has gotten better throughout the year, aside from his slump at the end of the regular season. Trevor is constantly trying to lift up teammates and make sure that everyone is emotionally ready for every game. Even though he’s only a rookie in the locker room he tries to make sure everyone is heard and knows that they are. He strives to work hard everyday to improve. He also has a great relationship with the great city of Miami. He wants to work hard to reward them for all the support they’ve given him, even in his slumps. Taking him away from Miami is not gonna be an easy transition , but if a city is invested in him, he’ll invest right back in them. Trevor also does have a gambling problem, thankfully he’s not in Vegas. Though when he spends money on stuff other than gambling it it usually pays off and it helps him grow more. He also seems to be very good at counting though occasionally messes up, I don’t even know how you do that. I guess he’s focused too much on hockey and gambling. Anyways, that’s it for Trevor, a sensational forward who feeds his teammates and will always strive to help his team and his city win. Trevor Wallace celebrates his first career goal
  19. Time to rant about my first season in VHL. It all started by being drafted in the third round of the VHLM dispersal draft with 68TPE, yup Ricer really took someone with 68 TPE in the third round. But I did then get first star in my first game, so yeah that happened. Anyways, throughout the season I learned more about the VHL(M) and had some good games. I’m pretty sure I never got more than 2 points in a game, but that’ll change next season (or maybe, just maybe in the playoffs). This season I never caught up to as many points as games played but I grew a lot, that’s what that first season and first player is all about right? Ricer have me a chance and I’m glad he did because Miami is amazing (even though a song called Miami is the worst song on my favorite album). So yeah, thanks to everyone that helped me and now we gotta go win a cup! —- Trevor Wallace 174 Words
  20. Being in VHL really has two main parts to it. One part is the hockey side of stuff where you need to get your tasks done weekly. On the other hand you have the part about more than hockey, a sense of community and people being there for you. First I want to address the hockey side of things, this part is going to be a bit more for new members but I highly suggest that if you’ve been in VHL for a while that you jump to the next part because that’s where I’m going to address some recent issues. Anyways, for you new people... each week you need to complete one point task. This is worth six TPE. A point task can be a 500+ word article like the one you are currently reading, or it could be a great graphic, or a podcast. You can find all of these throughout the forum. Personally I like the media spots because they give me a chance to share my thoughts with members of the VHL community and to try to help new members as best as I can. Anyways, each week you can get 12 capped TPE, six of those come from the point task I just talked about. So now for all the 2 point small tasks. One thing you can do is a press conference where you answer six questions in your teams’ press conference and submit it to get 2 TPE. You can also do a VHL.com article, graphic or radio piece. You can do up to 2 of these a week but they have to be different forms (you can do an article and a graphic but not two articles, for example). The articles only need to be about 150-200 words and the graphics don’t need to be over the top but you should still put in some effort. Finally you have VHL and VHLM fantasy zone and trivia. With the fantasy zones you answer questions and can get both capped and uncapped TPE. With trivia, you can answer two questions (ask around for help) and get one capped TPE per correct answer. Now, I want to address the community side. This is gonna be a bit uglier than my earlier praise of the VHL community. While I love the VHL community sometimes like right now we’ve been getting a bit... divided and crazy. And yes, I’m talking about the whole Bev rigging games thing. We just all need to find a happy medium and then we can all peacefully get on with our day. It shouldn’t come down to questioning the integrity of simmers and stuff like that. Personally I think that streaming sims is a happy medium but that’s up for you all to decide. But please, this isn’t congress as much as I personally want to run for office when I’m old enough... I do not want something like VHL to turn into the divided war zone that exists in Washington D.C. This doesn’t apply to everyone but to those arguing like kindergarteners, please stop and find a compromise. That’s all I have to say. —- Trevor Wallace 532 Words
  21. 1.) We can take them in 6 I think (unless it’s best of 3, then I’d go with 4) 2.) Yes 3.) Assuming I’m aloud to say us winning the finals, that’s gonna happen 4.) Nah, just a coincidence 5.) 2 6.) If U2 does a 30th anniversary tour for ZooTV I really want to see that (I’d prefer one for Popmart but I don’t think that’s happening)
