Thank you for the talks @FrostBeard, glad I could get a deal done with you. @Ripper appreciate all you did for Oslo, wishing you nothing but the best!
  2. 1. The playoff race is heating up and closer then ever , how can we create some separation? Keep improving, keep picking up points. We need to find ways to beat teams like Bratislava, for one, who we’ve had some trouble with. 2. Up to this point of the season what’s been our biggest strength as a team ? Probably sound team defense overall, while still maintaining a threatening attack. Also growth from a developmental standpoint. 3. what’s been our biggest weakness ? I would say our inability to generate strong scoring opportunities early on, but that’s been largely resolved as of late. However, we can improve on not getting behind by multiple goals, because that seems to be our downfall. 4. Would you rather score an OT winner or save a goal in OT ? I’d say it depends on how deliberate the save was and whether or not my team went on to win. If they didn’t, I’d for sure choose to score the winner, if they did, probably the save. 5. who do you got taking the fifa World Cup ? France has a good shot at repeating, and there’s a solid chance that we’ll have a rematch of the final four years ago. That being said, I’m thinking Argentina vs France, with Argentina taking it. 6. Would you rather travel with the team on a bus or plane ? Plane, awesome time flying around Europe and seeing the sights throughout the season!
  3. Game 324 Review: In this game between the Riga Reign and Moscow Menace, Moscow came out on top by a final score of 2-0. Newly acquired winger Nico Pearce scored both goals, and teammate Tomas Sogaard had two helpers. Flynn Remy played over half the game at 31:12 TOI on defense, and posted an assist. Papa Emeritus was solid as usual, saving all 19 shots for the shutout. However, Henry Tucker Jr did all they could for Riga, saving all but one shot for a .979 save percentage. James Marino also pitched in significantly for the Reign, with 4 shot blocks in 31:21 TOI.
  4. 1. We are top of the standings and dominating the league. How are you feeling about it? Awesome, everything seems to be working right now, just need to keep it going. 2. What do you think is the key to us continuing the rest of the season like this? Just keep playing our game, and playing to our strengths. We can't allow ourselves to slip and fall into a losing streak of a significant magnitude. 3. Are you surprised that the defending back to back cup champs are bottom of the league? Sort of, due to their history, but also not too shocked since it had to happen at some point due to the pure nature of the M with the quick turnarounds. 4. What team do you think is our biggest rival/threat? Probably Mexico City with their high-powered offense, they've beaten us before and can trade goals with us. 5. Are you happy with your player's performance? Overall yes, always room for improvement but like how it's going. 6. How do you eat pizza? (fold, flat, crust first, etc) Either flat or folded usually, or a mix.
  5. Game 218 Recap - In this matchup between two playoff bound teams, the Calgary Wranglers and Moscow Menace, Moscow came out on top in the shootout. AK92 Wit da Hoodie opened the scoring for the Menace. Robert Wilk would score twice for them, and Sergey Preobrazhensky and Hammar Voss would score in the shootout. For the Wranglers, Leandro Goncalves would not have a pair of goals, and Landon Wolanin would score too. Papa Emeritus helped Moscow to the victory, saving 49 of 52 shots faced. Ben Dahl would also put up a solid performance, allowing three goals on 34 shots.
  6. 1. Lecavalier has been performing well and driving offense, which is very good. Also a great person to have in the LR. Hoping Trenton, an IA, finds their stride too. 2. Ideally with the recent trade and facing some more teams we will see better results on a more consistent basis. 3. Surprisingly well, seems to be meshing well with his linemates in San Diego. 4. Thunder or Thor? As far as I know the logo is supposed to represent the Norse god so that could be a good match. 5. Definitely summer, both have their pros and cons though. Not a huge fan of the freezing cold weather at all, but the holidays are a plus. 6. From a Bruins perspective, probably Linus Ullmark or Hampus Lindholm, both have stepped up big time early this season.

  15. S86 Storm Captains @l1l KRZY l9l already made an announcement on discord but posting here "officially" as well. Captain: #91 Jon Webber Jr @Webberj Webber Jr returns as captain after leading us to a championship last season, especially by scoring the cup-winning goal. A very positive influence in the locker room and a fantastic player on the ice, we are confident Webber can help bring us another cup! Alternate Captain: #16 Quinn Clark @axtron Since being acquired via trade with Geneva at the deadline last season, Clark has been a force in the LR and on the ice. They continue to improve and will be relied on to log lots of minutes, as they step up to fill the shoes left by those who moved on from the team this offseason. Alternate Captain: #8 Brodie Landry III @Brodie_Landry The last of our three returning players, it only made sense to give Landry an 'A' as well. They have always supported the team and played a very active part in locker room engagement. Undoubtedly, they will, like Clark, take on a larger role on the backend this season. We are very happy to have them on board. Alternate Captain: #10 Nikolas Kauppi @Tetricide Our final alternate going into this season will be none other than Nikolas Kauppi, a rookie joining from Mexico City. They have consistently been active in the Oslo LR since being drafted, and will help lead our offensive attack as an invaluable member of the team. We look forward to kicking things off tomorrow and to a great season! We are truly glad to have every Storm player on the roster, and all of you will be key to our success.
  16. Thank you for the honor, however it's truly reflective of the efforts made by the team as a whole and @l1l KRZY l9l as AGM. Congrats to everyone!
