    OSL/GEN; S89

Condition: a) If Jack Jeckler is called up before Geneva’s 1st round selection (from Oslo), the S89 OSL 1st returns to Oslo. b) Should Jeckler be called up between that selection and the start of Season 89, Oslo receives S91 GEN 1st. @Zetterberg thanks for the talks, just like this post to confirm the condition. We welcome you and @Uncommon to Oslo, let’s go win a cup!
  2. The Oslo Storm extend an IA FA offer to Travis Clark: https://vhlportal.com/players/playerfocus/4473.
  3. Oslo makes a claim on Jordan Bennett.
  4. Great work! You both have found a lot of success here so far. @Subject056 good luck with Chicago and thanks for all you did for Oslo!
  5. Hello VHL! The World Cup will be kicking off soon and @Moon and I are anticipating a tournament full of hard-fought games and enjoyment. Continuing with the trend of having a nation from a different continent host each cup, this time around it will be Canada (Quebec City). In addition, it is that time (to announce GMs)! As is custom, we have asked six GMs to select and manage the international teams. We feel these individuals have either achieved great success in management for many seasons or have the potential to do so (if they are just getting started). We are excited to see what these GMs can do! Team Canada (Host) Team Eastern Europe Team Western Europe Team Nordic Team USA Team World Congrats to the GMs! Here is a link to the World Cup Discord for whomever needs it, we encourage you to join!: https://discord.gg/RbvzJW4FzS Let's have a great World Cup!

  7. The Oslo Storm offer a 1 season contract extension to right wing Alexander Stroheim. @Stroheim just respond in writing to accept! Glad to have you back!
  8. The Oslo Storm offer a 1 season contract extension to defender Winston Dixon jr. @Rjdixon01 just respond in writing and accept! Welcome back
  9. Sad to see the old GMs go, wishing you all well. Welcome new GMs and congrats!
  10. I am pleased to announce that @Moon is now a World Cup Commissioner. There were several great applicants; don't take it personal if you weren't chosen. Looking forward to getting the S88 WC going with Moon and continuing to better the tournament!
  11. 1. Not too great, but since it was only my rookie season I’m hoping for a big sophomore year. 2. Definitely Florida, Bob and Tkachuk are both playing great. Disappointing as a Bruins fan since we were so close against a really good team. 3. I’d have to say Hall of Famer Battre Sandstrom when I was in Prague with my first player. 1. What is your prediction for the rest of the Dallas-Vegas series, and who wins the Cup/in how many games? 2. Little early, but who do you think triumphs next season in the VHL/what players excel? 3. What are you looking forward to most this offseason?
  12. Congrats on a great season @Baby Boomer and Rome!
  13. @solyom with the GWG, love to see!!
  14. Hi all, First I'd like to thank @UnknownMinion for all of his contributions to the World Cup across three tournaments, and especially for showing me the ropes as WC Commissioner. I wish you the very best with everything moving forward. Second, I'm now hiring for a spot as WC Commish. The WC is the only official tournament in which the best of the best compete every other offseason. Therefore, it requires proper management to ensure everything goes smoothly. The job consists mainly of: - Updating the player spreadsheet - Hiring general managers - Helping GMs form their teams/answering any questions they may have (as needed) - Running the discord server - Maintaining activity in the server, chatting with players and responding to them if they have any questions - Building excitement for the cup, and brainstorming new ideas to improve each member's experience The job pay is 2 capped TPE for the duration of each tournament only. Just apply below if you are interested!

    OSL/IST; S88

Condition: Should the S89 Draft go 5 rounds, Istanbul receives back S89 IST 5th, which was sent to Oslo in this earlier trade: @Enorama this condition should actually make things easier Thank you @Masu Chan for the talks, good luck to Istanbul! You can like or comment to confirm the condition. Welcome to Oslo @Stroheim! Glad to have you!
  16. Oslo Storm have offered a contract to George Sanderson.
  17. 1. Tampa solely due to goaltending, and I say it goes six. 2. Undoubtedly, in my mind, 2nd behind Gretzky, and one could make the argument for 1st due to them playing in different eras. 3. Both struggling right now, my player needs to do more to help the team win more games. 1. What is your NHL First All-Star Team for this season? 2. What teams look like favorites for their respective leagues thus far (VHL, E, M)? 3. What do you enjoy most about the spring season?
  18. It's that time again, the start of a new season! This time around we will be retiring two more jerseys from the past few seasons. We will also be announcing our captains who will lead us for S88 as we try to bring the cup back to Oslo! First up is defender Quinn Clark (@axtron), an invaluable asset on our blueline and in the locker room during both cup seasons. Though he was only here for just over one full season, Clark played a pivotal role during the S85 and S86 playoffs, notching 4 goals and nineteen assists for 23 points in 27 games. In addition, over the 100 regular season games he played, Clark scored 88 points (27 goals, 61 assists). He logged the most minutes on the team in S86, and could play in all situations. All this being said, he was also a terrific locker room presence, always cheering the team on before and after key matchups. There is no doubt that without him, we could not have accomplished what we did. He served as an alternate in S86. Fittingly, another core defender of this era will have his number retired with Clark, that being Brodie Landry III (@Brodie_Landry). Landry spent a grand total of 216 games here, tied for the all-time Oslo lead. He is first in Oslo history in assists (138), second in points (170), and second in plus/minus (+49). Not only has Landry played the most postseason contests among Storm players (40), but he also has the most assists (22), points (29), and blocked shots (73). Like Clark, Landry was a great locker room leader, always positive and determined to win. He served as an alternate in S86 and as our captain in S87. Congrats to both Axtron and Brodie, we wish you the best in your careers with Toronto and Malmo, respectively. Thank you both for all your contributions to the Storm organization! Now, time for S88 Captains! C - Gregger McKeggegger @TheNeonShaman A - Liv Slater @Subject056 A - Rip Wheeler @ScottyP We're very excited to get started, and have full confidence in our leadership group to help guide us along the way. Congrats to all three of you. #LETSGOSTORM
