One of the nicest graphics I’ve seen. With how well you placed everything, it reads as an authentic photo. The jersey matches well with the colours in the logo and the effect you put on it is clean and doesn’t get distracting. I love how detailed you got, even making the stickers on the helmet match the jersey. The font is perfect and easy to read as well. 9.5/10

1. Just yesterday, we sent two very good players, defender Kirby Pandora and center Jlloyoid Blloyoiderson to Halifax for a 1st, 2nd, and 4th round pick. Thoughts on this trade? 
 
It's always tough losing guys but we're a young team that is looking more at the future so getting some draft capital is always a plus.
 
2. We lost to Philly today, 3-1, but did beat Mexico City, 5-3. Some games our offensive game shines, while others our defense prevails. What aspect, offense or defense, has been better overall this season, in your opinion? What part of our game can improve? 
 
Like last week, I think the scoring needs to improve, we can't just have the odd game where we can score goals. We need to score 3+ goals more consistently if we want to win. It was nice to beat my old team though I must say.
 
3. What do you think of your development as a player? Would more detailed TPE instruction help anyone out at all? 
 
I'm pretty happy with my progression, but I want to learn how to make solid graphics to help even more.
 
4. Currently we sit at 4th in the East, 6 and 7 points ahead of Miami and Mississauga, respectively. Do you think we can hold onto that last playoff spot? 
 
I know we can hold it over those two teams.
 
5. Have you ever visited another country? If so, where, and how was it? If not, where do you hope to travel to someday? 
 
Never Travelled "out of country" but I'd like to go to Greece or Switzerland.
 
6. What did you think of the Leafs surrendering a 3-1 series lead to Montreal?
 
I think it's hilarious. I had Montreal in 7 in my bracket as a joke but man the Leafs did not let me down.

It’s definitely sad to see teammates get traded away, but it’s all apart of the business. This year especially we aren’t a founder’s cup team so I think getting those draft picks was a good move for the future.

I’ve found we’ve had a lot of games where we score 1 or 2 goals. We need to get our offence clicking because our goalies can stand on their heads every game but us getting 1 goal doesn’t help them.

I think my player is coming along nicely. I’ve been figuring out all the ways to get the most TPE every week and putting it towards meaningful attributes on my player.

I’ve never travelled, been a home body forever. When I finish school I plan to do some travelling though. I’ve always thought places like Sri Lanka and New Zealand would be sweet to visit.

Don’t care about Toronto or Montreal. Winnipeg will run either team through the ground.

When there is so much controversy/discussion surrounding a team/logo I think it’s a clear sign to move on and bring in a new team lol

1. How do you feel we've been doing lately? We are currently in a playoff position, but with a 4-9 record. What do you think we could improve upon? 
 
I think we can all agree we need to be better, we got a good team here and 4-9 won't cut it in the long run.  We have had trouble scoring especially me, so we need to put pucks in the back of the net.
 
2. Are you happy with your player's recent performance?
 
Not at all, I need to be better and really doing something that helps this team. 
 
3. What do you all think about the announcement of a third league, the VHLE (Europe)? Is it something you'd be interested in in the future?
 
I love the idea and I wish it was coming next season. I'd love to play in the VHLE so I'll be keeping an eye out but I'm happy here in Ottawa right now.
 
4. Any goal song suggestions for the Lynx?

5. Who do you think will win Lord Stanley's Cup? How far can your team go? If you don't follow the NHL, what are you watching that you enjoy this time of year?
 
Golden Knights are going to win. My team didn't make the playoffs so I'm going to say probably not very far.
 
6. Have you played any online sim games like the VHL?
 
No I have not but the VHL is fun so I might do it more often.

Love the look of this graphic. The effort you put in the jersey to match the colours gives it a more natural feel especially with the “C” having the same green outline. The background isn’t distracting and complements the player, making him the focal point. Also, the font is easy to read and doesn’t feel out of place. Overall, I don’t see really anything I would do differently. 9.5/10

SEASON 78 OTTAWA LYNX CAPTAINCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 
With my first official announcement as GM, I am proud to announce the 3 players that will be representing the Ottawa Lynx's leadership group for Season 78. Leading a new era of Lynx hockey, these 3 players have been very active and embodies what it means to be a member of the Ottawa Lynx.  
 
C - Bogdan Trunov @qripll
Oh Captain, My Captain. Trunov has been one of the most vocal in the locker room, never shying away from how he feels. I am confident and excited about his ability to lead this team on and off the ice, and it only makes sense as the current longest tenured Lynx to be awarded the C. 
 
A - AJ Williams @ajwllmsn
Although very new to the team as a waiver-signing, Williams' impact has been felt strongly and immediately. Whether it be pumping up the team or creating awesome Lynx graphics, Williams has a bright future with both the Lynx and in the league as a whole, and he is very deserving of the A this season.
 
A - Jacob Rask @BostonBruinsFan1806
The last line of defense, our starting netminder, Jacob Rask, is a true class act. Very humble, but is not shy when it comes to stopping the puck. Despite having deep roots in Yukon, he has made the quick transition to become our go-to guy, thus being awarded with an A stitched on his jersey.
 
For the purposes of the sim, as you can not have a goalie as captain, Shane Lazeski @Shane Laz will be given the 2nd A. Congratulations everyone!

I love the look of this, it has a very unique appeal to it with the actual lynx at the bottom. You also placed the logo very nicely so it looks more authentic, plus you made a great choice on the player/jersey to match Ottawa’s logo. It may have benefitted with the logo on the pants or a more appealing font, but that’s getting very nitpicky. For your first graphic this looks great and I’m excited to see what else you come up with. 8/10

1. How do you feel about the offseason moves made by the Lynx? If you are new to the team, what are your thoughts on joining us?
 
I’m new to the league and Ottawa of course. Being in a big city compared to my small town is something cool for sure. I don’t know what’s to come or what to expect but I’m definitely excited to get started especially with the Lynx.
 
2. What do you hope to accomplish this season here in Ottawa?
 
I hope to improve as a player and a teammate. Will be fun to meet the team and management.
 
3. Any recommendations for a new channel on discord? @Juice said it was kind of lacking, so we want your input!
 
I’ve mainly used the general channel so far but new channels are always good.
 
4. What's your favorite NHL team? If you don't have one, what other sports/teams do you support? 
 
The Jets are my favourite team, don’t know how or why but I’ve always loved them since I was a kid. Nathan MacKinnon is my favourite, everything about his game is what I’d like to have.
 
5. Any players you look up to/idolize either in the VHL, NHL, etc.? 
 
Don’t know too many players yet in the VHL, I’ve been browsing around figuring out who’s who. I’m sure I’ll pick a favourite soon.
 
6. To get to know you better, where would you rather vacation? A. Beach B. Mountains C. Golf Resort D. Hockey Town E. Other 
 
After a long winter the beach is definitely my go to, but the hockey town vibes can’t be beat.

I'm happy to be a part of Ottawa, it was one of the teams I wanted to go to.

We nabbed ourselves some pretty solid players.  Last season, That Dude fell in our lap, and this season, these guys?  Man, we're lucky:)

Aike van Giersbergen would have been cool too, Tallinder of course, but we didn't have the picks

1 The VHL Draft was held yesterday night. We added defenseman Sven Reikkinen, goaltender Bastian Greiss and forwards Shane Lazeski and Brent Ashe. How did you think we did, overall?
 
Extremely excited a fellow journeyman from Finland will be joining us, he's the player I had my eye on all draft but without any power all I could do is pray my manager wanted to acquired a sure stud, he'll grind his ass on every shift consistently, he's the type of player we needed for sure.. Oh and now I can take a breather knowing he can be trusted with the puck. 
 
I know Lazeski has been making big strides and being a newer member caught the eyes of plenty scouts I'm sure of it, quite a steal if you ask me
 
Ashe and Greiss are two players I don't really know but I'm sure with their earning levels right now that they'll make an impact for us in a few seasons when I'm old, gray and hobbling off and on the bench

Nope, like I stated in the previous question the only player I dreamed of drafting is Reikkinen, positive forum presence, very active and his hockey IQ is through the roof. He's going to do good things for us, I know it!

With the added defense and a hall star Killinger beside me I expect to be the middle man helping out both lines, might have a little less points but I hope to have at least 60 assists again and maybe hitting the 20 goal mark would be awesome too.

There is so many shows on there it's unbelievable you watched everything, I suggest watching an indie film or one of the new releases, even if it sounds stupid.. Give your brain a little rocking to get back to reality. I'd suggest a name but there are way too many and I'm not going to open up my assigned team tablet to answer your question directly, I have more reporters to speak to!

I cant answer that, if we do, we do.. Haven't met up with some of the others veterans yet. Either way it has to be a surprise and I know both of them are listening in on my conversations right now

I think it was a pretty solid draft. The team was already in a relatively competitive position, with key players locked up so adding some youth to the overall core, with a couple of solid prospects to pan in out a few seasons time.

Hoping for at least 20 goals and 50 points in the rookie season, but that is probably a stretch. 150+ SB at least, and some lower PIMs this season. Being a + player would be good too, but given more of a team stat I'll take whatever there.

Hmmm, I suppose? I don't know, hazing and pranking has always felt a little odd to me even growing up, but in general the whole "rookie skates out first" thing or whatever has always seemed relatively harmless.
