  1. Review: Love the stories that you created with you’re brother. I like how marcel is a machine to block shots and Daniel is a bit more offensive minded. I would love to see, next time maybe, a more in depth description about the Power play or penalty kill where one of the brother made a big hit or block a shots. Except that the stories are very interesting next after next. Rating : 8,5/10

  2. One week before the VHLM draft, Leduc was talking to his family it was one of the last night that everybody was together. They were talking about what the future will prepare for them. It’s was an emotional night nonetheless. Before leaving home Leduc and his dad had a chat about what to expect about playing hockey in an other city and is draft ranking, is dad was always saying : The only thinks that matter it’s to be draft and I know you will after that it’s to you to prove that you’re capable of playing big minutes in important match.

The week pass by interview after interview Mexico, Philadelphie, San Diego and Yukon. Leduc have a great feeling with those teams he thought I did well in the interview and was sure one of those teams will make the right selection to draft him. The morning of the draft Leduc was up at Five overthinking about all the little details he did in this last season every good plays he did, but also every mistakes too. Taking a shower was the best idea for him it’s like the water hitting is head made him forget all of those ideas and he was now focus on what the draft will bring him. He started the day with a little run around the block just to let loose some nerves, enjoying the view that the city have with some music in his ears he was ready.

The big night Leduc sit down he knew that he will probably be pick in the late fourth round, early fifth. But he hoped that he would be pick in the third round. With no surprise The red menace, Nico Pearce And Hulk Hogan 2 was selected in the top ten. Leduc played with those guys in the Junior Showcase with the Warriors and he knew they were going to be pick in the  first round he was happy for them. We are know in the third round Leduc is starting the get stress after every pick he look at the stand with hope to ear his name sounds into the arena speakers. Leduc was talking to his agent when he heard from Canada Quebec the Yukon Rush are proud to select... Leduc is standing speechless and with eyes full off hope... Alexandre Leduc! He was jumping in the air huge smile on his face. He was almost running to the stand to meet the team that draft him.

Camp come in no time Leduc was on the ice trying to make is spot on the on of the four line he was playing like the devils was possessed him skating like there no tomorrow laying the body with big hits. He finally made the team he has a spot on the third line right wing. Meeting his teammates was one of the most amazing experience that he has everyone was welcoming the veteran wanted to take rookies on a city tour bus. The tour was amazing the city his fantastic, but the funniest moment when was Hulk Hogan 2 @TXC saw him he started yelling: BROTHAAAA to Leduc the two of them started laughing. Another funny moment was Leduc teammates was talking about there dogs and showing pictures, when Leduc shared his pictures of his dog Hogan look at him and said : That’s a fake dog she is stuffed and every one was like : yeah the hell thats a stuff dog.

    Yukon Rush Press Conference

    (Sept 27th )

Welcome to the Yukon Rush Press Conference for Sept 27th 2021, where the press ask hopefully six very important question and the players on the team are free to answer the question. Answer three question of 1 TPE and/or Answer all 2 TPE.

Now lets have some question from the press shall we?

    1. Big new today the team announced the Captains; What are your thoughts about the this leadership group and can the handle the pressure of the expectations for the team this season?

    2. Ten games into the season are you happy with the way the team is playing so far?

    3. Zara Colors is currently Third in League scoring with 3pts per game average; Do you think he can maintain such a crazy pace all season long? Explain?

    4. This early into the season Who do you think is the current unsung hero of the team? Why?

    5. What do you think of the body of work currently of young tender Thomas Price (9-1-0;  0.879sav% and 3.48gaa)?

    6. Riddle: What do hockey players and magicians have in common?

    Answer:

      Reveal hidden contents

    Hat Tricks

    1. For sure they are great players on and off the ice. They are, also, very hard working and are always there if I need help for something.

    2. The team is playing great recently I think I was a bit stressed in the first couple of games, but the chemistry with my linemates is definitely clicking and I‘m less stress.

    3. If someone is capable it’s him. He is just crazy with puck and he can whatever he want on the ice. That first line is playing like they were always playing together, they always know where the others are and the passes are always tape to tape.

    4. Everyone is playing there part I feel like it’s more a team effort but if I need to pick one It’s probably Hulk Hogan 2 he is simply just a beast.

    5. Thomas Price ... Is our secret weapon and having a great goalie in net give the team a boost.

    6. That’s easy Hat tricks!! Thought I’m more of a Gordie Howe Hat tricks then a natural hat tricks ;)

This media post was only 248 words, well short of the minimum of 500 words. The content of the article is good but if you want TPE for this I would write a bit more and flesh it out to reach that 500 word OR move this to the VHL.COM article section to get 2 TPE. I honestly think you can add a bit more and get the full 6 tpe. Adding a picture would be great. 5/10 (due to length, if this has more added this can easily be an 8 or 9)

Thanks for the review!!! I mest up I want it to be a vhl.com article but put it here. The next one is more then 500 words ;)

Junior Review: Doodle, Jacker, 21, 6'0", 140 lbs

I'm fairly new to hockey, so if I don't understand something about the game, let me know as a reply.

Jacker Doodle or Mikael Utera Jr., started playing Hockey at the age of 15 when he was in the middle of school. He got the inspiration to play after he watched a few of his friends playing field hockey and thought it would be fun. Of course, in field hockey, he couldn't play that well and managed to always trip and fall on himself. Ice hockey changed that, however. In Ice Hockey, he didn't need to worry about his shoes. While yes, he did have skates and those could possibly be worrying, it at least wasn't a pair of shoes that he liked. He only played one game at 15 with his coach seeing multiple things wrong with his game. While yes, he did need to work on stuff, he felt the punishment was unnecessary. His ego took over after the first game and after that, he stayed as morale support for the team. He practiced once a week, slowly going to three times a week, which slowly went to five days a week and stayed at five. His ego wouldn't let him stay benched. He got infuriated multiple times and broke a few bones and skates from all of the falls, all of the hits he took when practicing against other people, all of the times he'd stomped a little too hard, things of that nature.

    A GRAPHIC I WORKED ON

His game needed work and a lot of it. He knew that, which is why he improved steadily until he was 17. He looked like he was progressing and regressing at the same time. Maybe it was the fact that he tried too much in some games, which paid off sometimes, but not all the time. At 17, he was just trying to impress whoever he could with what he could do which often led to him trying to take a leadership role and being the one to call the shots. After 18, he went to community college, often practicing his skating in different skating rinks and practicing other abilities with 1v1's, 2v2's, even 3v3's sometimes. He was trying to improve while balancing college. At 20, he finished and then there was nothing for him to do besides playing hockey. He got an offer after his 21st birthday to play in Mexico City after moving to America.

Nice articles! I love how you’re players is so determined to be a better players in hockey and will do anything he can to reach is goal. Personal I will love to know more about how he deal with injury and how he recover from them. Because I think it’s a huge step for a players who is beginning to play hockey to deal with injury physically and mentally that can be a subject for an others article maybe 🤷‍♂️. This article is a 8.5/10. Love it and hope seeing more article from you!!

    1. Yeah probably, using this sim engine even if we really sat down and made some hard player update choices. I just think we alienate member groups and it probably isn't as clean as if we just switched sims so everyone got to learn from the same starting point.

    2. It seems pretty dire, when I built the index I was like "oh yeah lots of teams without." Hopefully that means more goalie creates but I know having too many in one league can be a problem too. Goalies have always been a struggle.

    3. Honestly at this stage that question becomes harder and harder for me to answer. I think for me putting a team in Tokyo at this point although I can't determine what the name would be seems like the best course. Put that in the VHL too, give them a bigs spot.

    Questions:

    1. What is the hardest thing to learn about the league, and what would you suggest is a good way to fix that?

    2. Do you care about player legacy, such as Hall of Fame, records, award cabinets and the like?

    3. Is Captains and Assistants something that players in the league truly care about, and if not, is there a way for us to change that and reward the system so it becomes a larger deal especially with this many players?

    ANSWER

    1. Im new in the league and I think the league site and the forum are well done but sometimes I need to dig to find what I was looking for. So, maybe doing a little guide to help first gen players like me to guide them like I did not know how the tpe clamming things works in the first part ( I’m a bit selfish so I was trying to find it in my own but wasn’t able to figured it out on my own ) but with the great community that we have and almost every person what it to help.

2.Being a players who is the league for less then a month I don’t think about hall of fame that much and awards, but with time I think I will be more trying to brake record and go for an awards.

    3. captains and Assistant are important for me they should be awarded to someone who as experienced with the league and can help new players find there way to make an impact in the league. I think people care example in Yukon with a lot a experience players who is returning from the league like mcwolf, txc, hylands or beaviss that tell me if I need help I can always ask them. I don’t know if captains and the leadership affects or should affects how players defend players on the ice or boost effect with higher leadership points if they score a goals or do a big hit do change the momentum side. But I don’t really know how fully the sims works. Hihi!

    QUESTIONS

    1. If you tell about the league to a friends or someone who as potential to be a new person on the league. How would you try them to sell you’re salad about them trying the league?

    2. What the best advice that you receive from on experience players when you were starting you’re players?

    3. Why is @Domg5 one of the best GM in the vhlm?

  8. The junior showcase just finished a huge congratulations to the steel for winning the tournament. Lets recap what happen.

First of, we have the first day and it was interesting one nonetheless. The  first game was a 10 (Royals)-8 (Brigade) with 98 penalty minutes both team combine and almost 50 shots on net for each team. It was a hell of game with Scotty Shultz Accumulated 25 PIM and Matt Avens 5 goals to help Royals grabs the 2 points.

The seconde game of the day finishing 16 (Steel)- 10 (Warriors) was a tiny bit crazier with 5 players with more than 20 PIM each and a combined of 184 PIM. The steel grabs the 2 points with a huge help by Gunnarwolfe Vomacka with a 9 points game.

The third game was again undisciplined with 332 Pim on both team combined. Witch 9 players having more then 20 PIM and Zaza Colors having 37 PIM. That was a huge piece gone for more then half of a game for the steel. Who lost The game 5-2 to the Warriors.

The fourth and final game for the days was the Brigade  against the Royals with again a 178 pim for both team combine. But the game was decided on one side of the ice who the Brigades goalie steal the show with 52 saves out of 54 shots for a 0,963% of saved, to win the game 4-2 for Brigades.

Day 1 was none the less very interesting. Not sure if I was watching UFC or the VHL on certains time. But we can’t say that the future VHL players aren’t  ready for the big league.

    6.  That definitely a trick question ... but huummm I think corn is the answer.

  10. Alexandre Leduc is a right winger from Canada, height 5’10 and 184 pounds. A 20 years old who is beginning is vhl career in the junior showcase tournament with the Warriors. But what make Alexandre Leduc a great player and teammates ?

First, We need to look eight years ago the youngsters is 12 and have just started hight school. He is looking for something too clear is mind for school and all the drama. He started swimming, the kid was a good swimmer but he didn’t know all the effort he need to put into to reach is dream: to be a Olympian gold medalist! So he started waking up at five swimming from six to seven and a half school 8 to 15 and after finishing all is homework he was back in the pool from 19 to 20 and a half.

After 3 years of hard work winning 3 times (les jeux du Québec) in the u15. A water polo coach reach out to him and ask if water polo interest him, the youngster did not know what water polo was he hesitated. The coach recognizes his pure talent and athleticism said : try out are in 2 weeks and if you make the club they will be no charge for this years. In the final In the fourth quarters it’s 9-6 for Alberta the home team Leduc enter the quarters with a booing waves from the fans cheering for there local team but Leduc is to focus to let that affect him and enter the quarters with a quick assist to reduce the lead 9-7, with is second presence in the quarter with 2 minutes left Leduc scores 1 goal. Trying to block a shot in the last 30 second the ball hit Leduc on the heads with all his force and the helps of him teammates Leduc exist the pool and collapsed. Leduc had a major concussion he quit water polo and take a 6 month break to all recover his senses.

People said that this injury change Leduc life, people will said for a bad way, but I will said for a good ways. He was playing hockey with friends like every years during the holidays vacation and a idea pop Alexandre head. What if he tries playing hockey the sports that the youngster love to watch on the tv and love to play why not take the next step and make it is hobby is job.
