Earlier this week we watched as Ivan Retoslav used his free re-roll and turned his build from a pass-first center to a shoot-first center. Most likely, this was caused by his underperformance in the VHL last season. During that season he only had a measly 33 points in 72 games. While the other players from his draft class all had nearly 50 points or above, Retoslav was left at the bottom of the list with a slow start and middle of the season. He finally picked it up at the end and barely pushed himself over the 30 point mark with a hot streak in the last 15 games of the season. Sadly his intention of becoming a solid pass first center faded away as he realized that it was better to just follow the rest of the pack in his build style. lthough we still see him being different from others, it's just way harder to notice now. Anyway, I'm off to convince dill to buy me a Kawasaki Ninja H2, goodnight!

IVAN RETOSLAV ROOKIE EXPERIENCE Retoslav, having just come off of a pretty decent season in the VHLE alongside Leandro Goncalves, was expecting his rookie season in the VHL to go pretty well. His goal for points was 40 and when he picked up the first goal of the season for the franchise it looked pretty realistic and possible to achieve. Sadly, after that initial success, his season took a nosedive and he didn't end up scoring another point until 4 games later when he finally got his first assist. Many London fans by this point were calling him a draft bust, and it certainly didn't help that he was showing much slower growth than pretty much every other player in his draft class. Despite this however, he continued on with his season, fighting for points and even managing an insane 17 Penalty Minutes in just one game. Numbers like that haven't been seen from him since game one of the Season 81 Junior Showcase Tournament, when he had 25 Penalty Minutes in a single game. All that just made fans hate him more as they were on the Penalty Kill for almost a third of the game. Over the next little while, his production was pretty much the same, just with less Penalty Minutes than before. He finally started improving towards the end of the season when he ended up passing 30 points and ending his season with 33 in total. Retoslav's rookie season may have been pretty underwhelming for London fans, but when you look at other players, 33 points for a rookie season isn't bad. He may have been one of the best players in the VHLM and VHLE, but he quickly realized that it is not the same style of play in the VHL. His playmaker play style wasn't working as well as it did in virtually every league he played in, but he still pushed on, grinding his way up to the 30 point mark and cementing his name as one of the top players in his draft class. All that's left to see is if he can build on this, and manage to become one of the best. There were some ups and downs during the season and the pressure of being London's next star player obviously weighed down on him. Many believe that this had a massive impact on his game and that if he had been placed on a stronger team he would have had a way better season. All that Retoslav cares about now though, is improving his game and becoming the next VHL superstar. Word count: 429

With the season over, Ivan Retoslav's rookie season has come to an end. Around 50 games into the season we were wondering if he would even hit 20 points, but after all is said and done, he even surpassed the number of 30 points. He raked in a total of 33 points in his rookie season, not a horrible number considering that he was also trying a pass-first build. There a rumors circulating that he may have a TPE re-roll in his near future after conversations from the Vegas LR between Retoslav and Bo Johansson were leaked a few days ago. It is said that the re roll will help with his point scoring abilities while also helping a little on defense as he would drop his passing by nearly 20 TPA. This would help him fit in on the lines that London currently has and make his career more lively than it currently is. Now, these are just rumours, so take all of this with a grain of salt. Will it happen? Only time will tell. Thanks for reading!

After a horribly disappointing season, Retoslav has stepped up his performance as the season draws to a close. We were questioning his ability to hit 25 points just 20 games ago and now with under 10 games left in the season we are wondering if he will be able to eclipse 40. This was kind of expected from the young Russian as for the past two seasons in the minor leagues he has done the exact same thing. It is also a trend for him to go absolutely insane in the playoffs and then proceed to go scoreless in the finals. The London United General Manager was quoted earlier today saying that Retoslav "Is doing Retoslav things". As we watch the end of this season unfold with great interest, we can only hope that Retoslav will hit that 40 point mark and pass the point per game mark. Just as many London fans were losing hope for the Russian, he came back and began scoring like he did in his VHLM days. That's all we have for tonight, I'm gonna go steal the entire city of Roanoke VA, but don't worry I'll put it back in a few hours.

Recently Ivan Retoslav rookie cards have dropped by almost 90% in value. At the beginning of the season they were worth up to $25 for a mint condition one and now they are worth about $2.75 per card. With his insanely underwhelming performance this season it isn't really a surprise that his cards had such a massive dip. We can say for sure now that he will clear the 20 point mark, which may help the value of the cards but at this point it is uncertain if they will ever recover their former value. The only way anyone can see them recovering is if his career makes a sharp turn and he becomes the all star we all expected him to be. One issue is that London is not a powerhouse and it may take a while to see it happen, but when it does we will be ready.

After what has proven to be the most disappointing rookie season of the players picked in the top 15 in the S83 Draft. A horrible 14 points in 37 games makes him the most disappointing prospect of that draft class. We have seen similar things happen to his friend and former teammate Landon Wolanin who as of late has entered his own scoring slump. If people thought that Retoslav had a disappointing VHLE season then they were shocked when they saw his VHL rookie season. At his current pace, Retoslav isn't even expected to reach 40 points this season. It is clearly taking a toll on his mental state as he has begun getting itno fights in the locker room with his teammates, coaches and even the general manager. It was even rumored that he threatened to break a hockey stick over the head of the current Houston GM @Arce. With all of this coming to light no one can be sure how his career is going to turn out. What at one point seemed certain now seems impossible and if he continues on this path, people are asking if it could even lead to an early retirement. Thanks for reading and goodnight I've gotta go steal Juan Ceson's House Pony.
