SASKATOON, SK (PP) - Tom Doomsday, the legendary GM of the Saskatoon Wild, has gone missing. He was last seen in the kitchen of his modest prairie home, making himself a sandwich. His harem of lovers then reported he heard a strange scream in the backyard, so he went to investigate. He has not been seen since. "Frankly, I'm concerned," VHL personality @Frank reported. This left the VHLM's Wild in a precarious position. Presently, the team is struggling due to the instability, having only won 3 of their 18 games this season. Experts say having a general manager would help assuage their losing woes, but with @Doomsday mysteriously missing, the team was left without one. This morning, VHLM Commissioners Jason Glasser and Weeby McWolf stepped in to remedy the situation by hiring an interim GM. Their decision was questioned by many, however, as they hired a literal goat out of a nearby Saskatchewan pasture. "If Doom can run a team, surely this Barzal flavoured goat can as well," Glasser said in a press conference. When asked about the team's future under his leadership, all @BarzalGoat would reply is with a goat scream. One might say a "strange scream." Whether this goat was responsible for Tom Doomsday's disappearance, and whether having livestock in charge of a hockey franchise will yield a better performance from the team remains to be seen. Claiming Week 2/3 (Week ending September 26. 2021)

1. It looked like we'd get through the offseason without one of our trademark BIG GUSTAV OFFSEASON MOVES, but that's a false assumption as we just pulled off a trade for Seattle's Isabella Campbell. What are your expectations for this season, now that our roster is complete? Well playoffs are certainly the top of my expectations. I'd also like to build on our performance from last season and get deeper into the playoffs, preferably with a Continental Cup at the end of it! 2. Time for one of our usual preseason questions: predict your statline for this season! I think Peepants will improve over last season, which should be too tough. I'm thinking like, 6 goals, 40 assists, 200 hits, maybe 100 SB? 3. What do you think about the VHLE, now that it exists? Do you think a low earner would have a better experience in the E league or the VHL? I like the idea of the VHLE. I think lower earners, unless they're quite set on the VHL, will have a better experience in the new league. They have a chance to be top players in a competitive league, which should be an upgrade of their VHLM experience. Then they'll be RotY candidates once they reach the VHL, so it's nice. 4. You can pick any one thing in the world to instantly snap out of existence. What is it and why? Perhaps litter and pollution. Checkmate! 5. What is your favorite kind of soda? Cream Soda, I suppose 6. What's your worst "stupid driver" story? There's this guy that's constantly on his phone while he drives, usually he appears to be recording a podcast or something
