We were the best team in the league, like we lost to another pretty good team. We had as good a chance as anybody. I don't see our team of players who are competing for franchise records and the like and been working towards them for their whole careers and getting them as a problem. Like I'm not saying every GM should do this. Not every GM should listen to the players only. But I think in this case it's a good thing. And we are going to come out of losing 3 players and still probably be a playoff team, so it's whatever.

Not to add on but @Grape Lucy quite literally asked us what we wanted as a team, and collectively we decided as a group to go this direction, most importantly I chose this direction as one of the only players on the team that will have to suffer these consequences long term (as I do plan to remain in Malmo as long as I'm wanted there). I appreciate the whole squad for showing up this season, earning like crazy, committing to this run as a unit, and overall giving it our best. Of course in the end my player sold us but wtf else can I do, it's in Simon's hands now.

I can't lie, Im unlikely to do Pressers, I tend to forget about them but I'm down to come on board. If some GM jobs come open I will try to get them but I don't see anyone stepping down so I can kick it in DC for a season

Another dark horse IMO that should be nominated (not win) is Taylor Swift, this player got kind of screwed by being benched the first 20 games but ended at about a PPG. Also 21 Goals in 54 GPs. YNFR has 30 in 72.

10 amazing so far, results speak for themselves. Win even more. 6 it's a team. Jorgen Lucy and Jensen all did incredibly. Hard to pick one. 5 saving picks and winning more would have been cool. 4 kanou is definitely on my mind. Bug trophy year for me, so why not one more. 3 Moscow will be rough, well coach, been here before, a lot. 2 first season we have been this dominant WITH an elite goalie in terms of TPE. Ash was always good and rookie Jørgen was okay, but now we have a guy in the quadruple digits so I think that could be a big difference maker. If we slink past Riga, we have at least the advantage in Net over either of Davos and Moscow. Hopefully that's enough.

Well rumor has it there are talks regarding the cap going down so FA actually may become an avenue to acquire players maybe. Like, I think that's something the VHL kind of needs. It's so strange how few players go to the open market and have teams swaying them.

I mean yeah you still can win it but 1) I think it should go to the winning team most of the time, so if I did get it I probably wouldn't feel good about it. And 2) I want the cup more, the individual awards can still come but this could be the last chance for malmo to make a deep playoff run soon ish, so if I don't step up and drag us through that finish line tape, I don't think we get another chance until at least s100.
