Pifferfish got a reaction from LucyXpher in VHLM All Star Selections
Oh I know this is like way way late ... But I believe if you use the actual index it shows total season long stats... Could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure last I checked it did.

If it makes you feel better, you are actually a really smart builder so far. Super efficient with the TPEs... Nice work... Keep it up. Need anything my dms here and on discord are always open .... Also, go Phillies (born into the fandom lol, don't hate me for it.)

Pifferfish reacted to Tate in Tate Thoughts Feb 7
So, I decided to come back and recreate for a number of reasons. I’ve debated whether or not to cover my thoughts on a podcast, but I am not sure yet when/if I’ll do one. I’m sure at some point it will happen, but I’ve gotten into trying to work on graphics, so this is a good way for me to practice and get better at it.
I saw the recent article Gustav wrote about how defense is not a high need and we’ve got a chance to fall in the draft. That is something I don’t mind as it’s always better to have intrigue heading into the draft rather than knowing already where everyone is going to land. I decided to go with defense on a whim and didn’t bother to scout the league on what position(s) were needed. I prefer the position overall and feel as though it will be a good fit for me, so time will tell if the league feels the same way. 😊

Pifferfish reacted to CowboyinAmerica in Houston, We Have a New Center
Houston -- Antonia Bucatini expected the trade deadline to pass without care. Cooped up at home the day after a recent Halifax win over Mississauga, she was cooped up with a protein shake and some Netflix, ready for some potential R&R. However, the rest was short-lived when she received an out-of-the-blue call from Halifax management.
"Hey there. So, we've decided to sell before the deadline. We're sending you to Houston."
And like that, Antonia Bucatini was off to her third VHLM franchise in just over a season - and one that suddenly would place on her higher expectations, to boot.
Bucatini joins a crowded Houston team that has championship aspirations this season, but one that was desperately looking for a talented center. Houston management have already told her that she'll be a first line center from day one, teaming up with fellow S93 draftees Chris Reynolds Jr. and Trimiskez Artav in what instantly becomes one of the most talented lines in the VHLM. But if going from a fringe playoff team to a squad with championship aspirations would be intimidating for some people, Bucatini didn't show it.
"You might forget, I was already in the finals once. I know what it takes to get there, and I know I have it," Bucatini said, referring to Philadelphia's finals run last year. "Having played Houston a few times, I know the players in this locker room have what it takes too. Now, we get a few weeks to gel and figure things out."
Indeed, the assimilation process has already started, with Houston going 1-1 in Bucatini's first two games. She's also begun introducing herself to a boisterous locker room as well, making friends early. Overall, she said she feels good about the move.
"I think I'm going to like it here. I enjoyed Halifax too, but there's just so many new faces - more faces than I'm used to," Bucatini said. "And I hope I'm the winning piece that really helps us accomplish something this year. Go Bulls!"

Pifferfish reacted to horoscope in Ray-Day in San Diego - VHLM
Just shy of the trade deadline, a few players from the Saskatoon Wild will have to change wardrobes for warmer weather. The trade destinations were, namely, Las Vegas, Miami, and San Diego. I managed to snag an interview with Ray Stanton, who was traded to the San Diego Marlins, at the beach. The quick defenseman is quickly getting adjusted to the new change of scenery.
"It's been quite some time since I've seen a palm tree. No shortage of places to eat, either."
He reminisced, fondly, over his 1.16 point per game pace with the team, hoping to keep up. In less than formal words, he described what the keys to his success were.
"My macronutrients are MINT. I'm only eating the chicken parm on weekends now. ... I'm progressing faster than I thought. I'm holding my defensive assignments more and I'm not taking as many penalties."
His words aren't always concise, but his on-ice performance has been. His first two games as a Marlin came with 3 assists to match. He hopes to carry this throughout the playoff hunt and beyond.
