The Minnesota Storm are one win away from reaching the Founder's Cup finals which they will be favoured to win, but one man in particular has been doing absolutely nothing for his team's cause.
 
“Well that's not really fair,” says an aggrieved Vladimir Pavlov, “I shout motivational things at the guys coming on and off the bench, give the occasional pat on the back or the helmet – team morale is really important and I'd say I'm a pretty big contibutor to our success.”
 
Despite signing for the Storm shortly after the trade deadline, Pavlov has yet to see a minute of ice time in his time in Minnesota, or at least it looks like it from the few games we checked. Instead, the Russian center is content sitting on the bench and potentially earning a cup ring that way, doing nothing to his image as an undrafted, spoiled local kid taking the shortcut to VHL success.
 
“Look, my agent sat me down and said 'Kid, I want to win a Founder's Cup.' He doesn't care about my 3 weeks in Season 65 and told me neither should I, and hey, the guy is about successful as they come in this league so who am I to argue? I've got a nice pay packet out of it.”
 
With those words, Pavlov did a quick skate around the rink and went back to his favourite spot, just one from the left of the Minnesota bench.

Kylrad's VHL draft rankings that are not at all a copy of @xDParK draft rankings, even if the title is similar. I'll probably finish 1 spot ahead of dpark in the tpe rankings so thats where I should be drafted. This was also based basically only on Team name, location and GM, I probably should've actually looked at players on each team to have a legit rankings. 
 
1. Moscow Menace
- Cool name and brand, Victor the god is GM, expansion team so probably will suck for a bit but who knows.
 
2. Riga Reign
- Know Hedgehog from SHL, and more importantly Podrick Cast is on this team, not sure how long till he retires or if he'll even still be on the team with Victor also gming Moscow
 
3. Helsinki Titans
- Many years ago my most recent player was on this team, think I won like 3 cups here, also Quik seems like a cool guy from what i've seen
 
4.Toronto Legion
- Toronto is ew, but Devise is woo so it balances out
 
5. HC Davos Dynamo
- Think my most recent player also played here before being traded to Helsinki maybe some others did too, dont know much about ShawnGlade, but I know Nykos on this team, so that brought them down by about 57.3 spots
 
6. New York Americans
- Again don't know much about the GM, also don't know if New York is still good but back with my previous players they were always pretty good winning every season or making finals
 
7. Vancouver Wolves
- Great city, Beaviss also seems nice and super active and his player is currently murdering everyone in the VHLM despite my attempts to carry Ottawa with Jack Lynch
 
8. Seattle Bears
- Not sure if i've ever been on a team with @Velevra in all my years on VHL, maybe I have and don't remember, either way hes a scrub but i'd be willing to join Seattle and carry him
 
9. Calgary Wranglers
- Calgary is also ew, also I might lose fantasy since Bushito took over and picked Dragomir one pick before me smh.

Originally I wasn't going to do an article this week, maybe it would be my week off, then @xDParK has to go and do an article and ping me and catch up in TPE, so now here we are. 30 games into the season the Ottawa Lynx are somehow 3rd place in the VHLM, who knows how that happened, certainly not because of the gming skills of nyko. Jack Lynch is also still a god 2nd in the league in points and goals. More importantly however is that somehow Codrick Past is 2nd in assists and in D points in the whole league how did that happen. Also how does the guy in 1st for D scoring have 12 more points than me, hes definitely doping. This season so far made me realize that apparently all you have to do to have a good VHL player is apparently steal @Victors name and as a result inherit his godlike VHL genes since even though its just the VHLM this player probably has more points than my last 3 vhl players combined.

He now has 2 goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 8 games, good enough for 15th in the league overall in scoring and 3rd for all defenseman. Going into the season Past planned on just getting carried by Jack Lynch who is also a monster currently 4th in the league for scoring, but I guess Past can help him out a little with the carrying.

Despite Past being a pretty lazy guy he's pretty great at hockey, some say its rumored that he's somehow related in some weird cross family to Podrick Cast the VHL legend, so that must be where all his hockey skills come from. Past is looking forward to the up and coming VHLM season and if he can stop being lazy he might become a threat in not just the VHLM but VHL too. A question Past has been getting asked is why did he sign with Ottawa, after all they are projected to be one of the weaker teams and aren't as cool as a team called the Reapers. The main reasons are rumored to be that he was blackmailed by their GM and that he also has faith in the god that is Jack Lynch to carry them and maybe even teach him some things along the way. They've also recently added even more players to support them such as Harju, and the bunch of letters name guy. Maybe Ottawa will be able to do some damage in the VHLM,
