STZ Player Agency Signs Goalie
Vancouver, BC.
One day after VHL's Project Player 2 lottery, the STZ Player Agency has announced they've signed their guy - and he's a goalie.
The STZ Player Agency was the fifth agency selected to get the opportunity to represent two players at the same time in the VHL. In VHL's, 50 seasons, this will be the first time that it will legally be allowed, and it's a historic moment to say the least. The agency has produced two HOF players in Ethan Osborne and Jake Wylde, and currently has the Quebec City Meute's top prospect Unassisted under contract. They were rumoured to be a "hoped-for" scenerio, for where they would be selected. The lottery ended up producing a number of interesting other agencies, but the conversation of GM agencies have really been a hot topic of discussion.
The STZ Player Agency had this press release to submit to the VHL Insider Hitch Miggins;
"This is a historic announcement and our agency is proud to be apart of a moment like this. We continually scout and track prospects that we can sign in all sports and any league. However, there was one which we thought we would lose out on because of timing, but we ended up getting very lucky winning this lottery. Not only is this a special time for the VHL, but also for our agency as we are proud to announce our newest player, and first ever goalie.
He is a tall athletic goalie who is beginning his career in the WHL for the Red Deer Rebels. He is projected to be a first round pick, and has the talent to be a franchise goalie. We are proud to introduce to you our newest signing... Rhett DeGrath"
