new logo reveal?

We have a lot of new faces this year in Helsinki. It's exciting that as a team we will be aiming for a deep playoff run - a first in a while. With that being said there is a change here in Helsinki, we'll be announcing the 25th Captain in Helsinki Titans history. Captain: Don Draper Assistant Captain: Jackson Miller Assistant Captain: Damon Tyrael We are excited with this group of leaders on the team. Draper has literally killed it in terms of our internal Game Thread Activity Tracker - and has been a leader in this community before he even played a game in the VHL. I am proud to have him on the team, and should lead us for seasons to come. Miller is also a great member who has been around the block and a lot of us newer members can learn from him. Beketov had an unexpected personal situation come up last season, and we hope he can bounce back from his time off. Tyrael is one of two members who joined the team this season via trade - they are literally the only two who have made the playoffs. Vojczek Svoboda announced that he will be retiring after this season, and we are more than grateful for what he brought to the Titans organization over the past two seasons. He's been a great person to talk to, and I would bring him on and make him the leader of my team if I ever had a chance again. However, he has expressed a disconnect with the league, and we have chosen members who are going to be a leader in the locker room and on the forums. While I debated not mentioning our former captain, I feel that just out of respect for the person, I can't overlook and explain why his name isn't up there.

So glad my draft was paired with 29 lolol

In an off-season that watched the Helsinki Titans bring in elite scoring threats Damon Tyrael and Willem Janssen, along with projected top flight talent Oskars Harumpf and Ryan Cattrall, the focus has been on another prospect. No we aren't talking about the S39 first overall pick, James Faraday who is slated to make his rookie debut... we are talking about another rookie. King Czar III made waves in Helsinki training camp as the 18 year old absolutely proved himself to coaches. This was a pick in the 3rd round, who has developed into a starting VHL defenseman in the course of a week. Czar has made VHL history being the first ever 3rd round pick to start for a VHL team due to the 175 TPE cap rule. Titans scouts had no idea what they had when they called this monster's name at the draft... Looks like the youngster is making quite a name for himself. "Czar is ready for the VHL, and we aren't going to deny him the playing time he's earned. I was a VHLM GM for many seasons, so I know the importance of developing in the minors. Czar has proven that he wants to be in the big leagues, and we believe that him being on one of the top defenses in the league will greatly benefit his development.
