  10. 1. I think so. Flaten seems to be a solid pick considering it was later in the draft. Eno seems to find those guys who are on the uptrend, and @flatl99 seems to be very active in our discord, and ready to put in the work to be VHL-ready for next season. 2. I'm grinding. I'm trying to put my player over the top to become elite, and lead us into the playoffs. I see my competition and what I'm working against, and I truly believe Graves can turn into something special either this season or next; and then sustain that level for the remainder of his DC Career. 3. Personally, I've been working my ass off. I've had two "promotions" since this covid lockdown, and it's just been very busy. Things are starting to level off at work, and I'm in a really good position for myself now, so it all seems worth it. 4. Jet Jaguar @gorlab. Never played with him, but I love what he does. He's a heart-and-soul type of member. Really buys into a franchise and invests everything he has into making it great. 5. I'll go with Saskatoon, only because it's the team I first started on in S29. I have fond memories there. I've played there with at least three of my players. All-time, it would have to be Bratislava Watchmen, only because of my time as GM there and the friendships I made during that time period. 6. PB. It's godly. I would put it up against anything.
  11. Washington, DC. There are a lot of questions coming out of DC, this upcoming season. Is this finally the year they turn into a full blown contender? Is Washington and Valentino ready to break out and become the leagues top defense pair? Is Stone Wolski ready to be the full time starter? Can Aaltonen produce after undergoing depreciation. While DC has been from its inception an offense-heavy team build, going into S72 it seems as though they will need different faces to step up in order for their offense to be elite. Boris The Forest is coming off a spectacular year, and after paying the price of moving Frostbeard, it seems as though Eno Rama and the Dragons have a quality first line center. Their defense looked shakey at the end of the season, but with the emergence of Valentino and the position switch for George Washington, it seems as though defense might be their biggest strength. So then, where does this put the S69 2nd Overall draft pick Benny Graves? He is slated to start the year with over 900 TPA and will center the second line with breakout player Raleigh Ritchie and Xavier Laflamme, both players they found outside of the first round of their respective drafts.Graves has put up almost a point per game in the past two seasons, while he was still under his rookie contract. Now he's entering his first season of his career-long contract he signed with the Dragons, and has seemed to have bulked up to add a physical element to his game. He's always had the speed and the size, could this be his year where he breaks out? The Dragons are a team to watch, and with this kind of depth it is hard to imagine any team having an easy night against DC. Graves could very well be that secret weapon that puts DC into that championship caliber team echelon.

  18. 1. Gotta go with our old AGM @McWolf here for the best player in the draft. I like @dasboot's player Latrell Mitchell. We've had a bit of dialogue on the graphics side of discord and he seems like a cool dude. I don't follow the draft too close, but those are the guys that stand out to me. 2. Wolski. He was a rookie last year, and overperformed. His success will determine the team's success. I'm exciting because I think he will be a top goalie very soon and for years to come. 3. I keep saying Washington, and I believe it more now than ever with the position change. 4. Absolutely. Rift was a great player for us last season and it's been fun having @Devise in the LR, but the truth is Wolski is our guy for the future, and he will be the one who takes us to gold. 5. Tough call, I really do like all the guys on the team. If it was in-character probably Lesieur as Benny and him have played their entire careers together including Junior. 6. I'd go with pie I think
