  1. As the Trade Deadline approaches the dreams of a few aspiring VHL Players near closer to reality; as the VHL Draft is coming in less than a month. This class looks stackes with many players going to be in the high 300 TPE range come draft day. We begin the S71 Prospect series with a very interesting young Swedish centerman, Ola Vikingstad. While he is projected to be a top five pick in the draft, our scouting services has this player pegged as our most VHL Ready player in the draft. He is well seasoned and has shown incredbile success with the Ottawa Lynx of the VHLM putting up nearly 100 points in his 51 games played so far this season. We believe that his play will translate beautifully in the big leagues and will be a top contender for Rookie of the Year. He is 25 years old so he does have a few extra years on other prospects in this class, which might be why he falls out of the top two picks. Vikingstad has every right to be in the top pick category, however there are other stuf prospects with high pedigree in that category as well. A player with this size, skating ability, and scoring touch - we project this player as a franchise centerman who can be relied upon as a cornerstone piece for a franchise. @Dil Class of S71: Coming Soon

  3. Damn dude this is probably the coolest write-up I’ve ever read on the forums. Appreciate the words both about Osborne and the time with Bratislava. We had so many good teams with the Watchmen and that was back when the VHLM was nothing like it is today. S29 seems so long ago, it must have taken a lot of research to go this in-depth with Osborne’s career and all those shots at the cup with Helsinki. Thanks for taking the time to do all this, Osborne was definitely my favorite player I had. You did a great job capturing exactly why I fell in love with this league, like an addict always chasing that first high lol Also awesome to remember some of those career long Helsinki dudes Zhumbayev and Hodgson. Some pretty great teams Higgy put together during that run. Thanks for all this @Doomsday ?
  4. As we draw to the end of the S70 Draft Class, we meet one of the finest prospect in this pool Alex Bridges. Bridges was a 19th Overall selection by the Seattle Bears and has turned into a quality prospect. His value seemingly so high that Davos sent a potential lottery pick for this upcoming draft for this hidden gem. Bridges is a big framed centerman that projects to be a solid scorer with huge upside. If Davos' gamble pays off they have a big bodied center who could potentially be their cornerstone piece to the rebuild. Many have pegged Bridges with high hockey IQ and very good leadership abilities. I think it's safe to say that he will at the very least turn out to be a serviceable player in the VHL who will likely play out 6 full seasons in the league. However, to go from 19th overall to the value of a lotto pick in less than a season - it seems as though @GustavMattias sees a lot in this player. The Mexico City Kings are currently in a playoff spot being led by Shush Nyko. With 46 points in 43 games, Bridges has shown the progress you would expect to see a second year forward to have. Only time will tell how this prospect will turn out, but there are a lot of important people in this league who firmly believe in this player's skill and personality. @Alex Bridge Class of S70: Mikko Lahtinen Odin Omdahl Jacques Lafontaine Iangenere Risteneen Shawn Glade Jr. Chad Magnum Lewis Dawson Jared Spaz Justin Graves

  23. With the 10th overall pick in the S70 VHL Entry Draft the Toronto Legion were proud to select this high skilled forward. The Legion believe that they have found their first real building block in their rebuild, as the late first rounder has shown a lot of promise and has a very high ceiling. Toronto already has him projected at 308 TPE for the start of next season and on their first line. That is saying a lot for this first generation player, but we believe Graves can be the real deal. He is a pass first playmaking winger who had two shortened seasons, but produced nicely within that small sample size. So far this season he is nearly two points per game for Las Vegas after being selected 13th overall in the VHLM Draft. There is a lot to like about this young forward, and it seems as though Toronto already believes they got the steal of the draft in this prospect. @JDGraves Class of S70: Mikko Lahtinen Odin Omdahl Jacques Lafontaine Iangenere Risteneen Shawn Glade Jr. Chad Magnum Lewis Dawson Jared Spaz
