Review: one of the better pieces posted this week. I like the Jersey change, coloring, and overall feel to this. I like the ripple, added with the sunburst and red screen effect for the bg. I actually think if you used a red brush on “screen” on the lower left of the render like there is for the bg it would create more depth to the sig. The text is pretty good. I think it would be cool to have applied image and used the ripple effect on the text like you did the bg. Then using the eraser you could remove some of the ripple so that it looked like the text was rippling away to match the flow of the bg. Just an idea of an effect you could use to make the text a little more advanced and really make this pop. Great work though! 9/10

Review: I like it. Simple and effective. I like the render filter you used, it’s actually pretty clean and not over contrasted. The idea is cool, I think with “signature” style of text it’s cool if it looks like a real signature, like making little anomalies in the writing. In this case the text is just the base font so all the t’s look the same at the start of the word as well as the e’s and r’s. Minor detail but it’s an idea for an added touch. 8/10

1. Holy hell, we’ve thrown ourselves back into the playoff race. Be honest, did our slow start worry you in the first week? Not really, kind of our MO. We always start off slow, continue slow, and then come back. I think what is really nice is that we made a push earlier than years past. We are kind of slumping now, but at least we are still striking distance to the top. 2. Who is the team MVP through 12 games? I think Benny has put up the points through the first 21, but our D-core has really been stabilized with Flowers' addition. Stone has been really good with his Save Percentage near the top of the league. I really think his play has improved, and it's a major factor in our success. 3. Who are you looking at to step up in the next 12 games? I'd really love to see Valentino do what we all thought he would; rack up points. He has Flowers as a D partner now, so he can step into play without consequence. I think he's an elite defenseman, with huge scoring upside. For some reason he just hasn't been able to put up the crazy numbers some of the other elite offensive defenseman in the league have. 4. DC is tied for second in the conference, but seventh place is 3 games behind us. How do we separate ourself from this logjam? We need to keep consistent, and get wins on the teams that are lower than us. Our issue is we can beat the top teams, but then we just fold against expansion teams. I think in the end the sim will always even out and good teams will always end up in a good position; but we definitely need to stop this roller-coaster trend. 5. What’s your take on the rumour that Stone Wolski might be involved in a goaltending controversy? I'm on team Stone. 6. If the VHL played the playoffs in a covid bubble, would you go? Yes. Anything to see DC get a cup!

Review: I think my fav submission of the week. I like the wind-like effects coming off the render. Overall effects on render look solid. I really like your textwork. I think the "Wolf" subtext might have been nicer with a different font. The Weiss text is very cool and interesting. Lighting is cool, I always like red lighting on screen, I think it works well. The bg could have used some work; kind looks like you went on the ripple distort effect and just eithger cranked the settings or went random. Overall I really like this, top level for all submission this week imo. 10/10

Review: Pretty cool. I like the render and scan line effects. Pretty simple graphic. The smoke effect you have is pretty unique. I think the font actually works pretty cool. Could definitely add more to this, but it's nice and clean - pulled off the style I think you were looking to hit. The black and white works with this. 8/10

Washington, DC. As the Season 73 concluded, the DC Dragons lost one of their most beloved franchise players in captain Mikko Aaltonen. Many speculation has been made over the past off-season as to who would be his predecessor. Whether it would go vacant for a while until someone took the reigns, or if GM Eno Rama would name a new captain. Well, on Friday night the GM announced in an internal statement that former Assistant Captain Benny Graves would be getting promoted to the Captain spot. The DC Dragon franchise centerman was drafted 2nd Overall in the S69 Draft, and soon after he signed a lifetime deal with the expansion team. During his time with the Dragons he has become a showcase talent and developed into an elite VHL talent. He has made his mark on the Dragons History books becoming the leader in Franchise Hits, and also projects to become the leader in points, goals, and game winning goals. "I'm very proud to represent the DC Dragons, and put this jersey on every night. We have a great team and our goal is to win a championship in the VHL. That goal becomes harder and harder every day, but that is what we all have our eye on. We want to bring this franchise its first cup; that would be very special. I am very grateful to be named a leader on this team, I know I will continue to do everything in my power to give our team the greatest chance to win."

1. What do you think about our s74 draft? Pretty solid with what we have. Seems like three consistent welfare players that will likel;y be a strong core into the next generation for the Dragons. 2. What are your goals this season? Championship. I hope Benny can contribute to that in any way that might mean. Hoping to put up points, but the Dragons winning would be infinitely better than any individual awards. 3. Do you have any superstitions before a game? Big Mac and 20 nugz 4. Who will be our breakout star this season? Groovy Dude. Think we have the Most Improved player sitting on our roster! 5. Any thoughts on who the winner is of the draft? Vancouver did great with their top-end picks. I think Chicago and Warsaw made huge steps forward as expansion teams. 6. What do you think this team is lacking? We are sitting really good. Obviously depth is probably our weakest point, but I don't think it's needed for a championship. We have strong Goaltending, our Defense is stacked, and our forward core is pretty elite.

Review: This is pretty cool. I like the strokes, and the red and yellow vector mountain things at the bottom. Text with the circles is really cool. The render is good, but the logo seems a little big for the jersey change. The eclipsing effects behind the render is a little uneccassary kind makes it messy. Overall very cool and unique. 9/10

Review: I think this is one of your best ones. I think you tried some things, and overall it looks solid. Main render effects look good, solid colouring overall. I think it's a little weird with the render being cut off at the bottom, but that is nit-picking. Definitely keep experimenting because that's how you learn new things and get better. I think the big thing is that it overall isn't overexposed or washed out. Keep it up man! 8/10

1. I didn't, just because I thought it was NY's season 2. This is exactly what we need. Big, physical, defender. I think we have given up so many shots, this will help that. Makes our top defense pair one of the best in the league. 3. Defense and Goaltending. I'm expecting Wolski to have a huge season. 4. I think Vancouver really had a strong draft. Some of the expansion teams did well loading up on quality prospects, but Vancouver really got some top end talent that will help their team almost immediately and for a long period of time. 5. NY will probably be a strong team again. I think DC could be their competition out of NA. Not sure out of EU.. Davos made a pretty big splash getting Funk. 6. Flowers should be the biggest impact. Really will help DC huge.
