Yeah I don't know how it worked on your end. On our end, it will definitely revert to defaults. Less "worst case" and more "this will almost certainly happen" but either way, as long as it's even we're good, we just all have to do them again after the first sim.

I know for a fact it does, it did it to me in the playoffs 2 seasons ago. That's what happened when Fong wasn't on the lines, I'm sure you can recall when that happened as there was a media outrage. I'm expecting that when you set the lines for WC and World Juniors, like with 90% of the times the lines were set, the GMs selected "copy all lines" which is why it carried over. In this particular case, "copy all lines" was grayed out and not able to be selected.

If they're left without copy, they only apply to the first game, then the game uses whatever it decides are the default lines (no double shifts, no wing crossover, straight TPE - so if you have 1 LW and 5 RW, the worst RW won't play and OTT LW1 will be on the 2nd line). It might not be possible to copy on your end, so we might all be stuck with defaults for the 2nd game of the sim - if it happens equally across all the teams, it's fair, just we'll have to put in new lines again.

There is, if you have mod permissions in the area the thread is posted. I'd assume in here, that would be @Banackock and @.sniffuM, plus any Blue

While I do have a habit of giving my guys weird backstories, in this particular case I took an existing TV character and his backstory and molded it into something that would lead him into hockey. The paragraph that discusses his background in the non-hockey world is basically just a background on the show Royal Pains, where Lawson is from. The rest, I took creative license and took where the character left off at the end of the show, deciding that at that point, he decided he wanted to become a hockey player, and how he would go about doing that. Some tie-ins in later paragraphs to both the show and my former players. (Also, @BladeMaiden I'm not currently your teammate - this is an old bio. I was on Vegas when I was in the VHLM, but I'm now in the middle of my VHL career with Calgary, it's been some time since I was with Vegas, although I still have somewhat of a VHLM role as GM of Ottawa. If you get drafted to Calgary, which I know we'll need a goalie soon as Stopko is nearing the end of his career, then I'll be your teammate and I hope something happens to that end.)

The highlighted part is funny. Stromberg was, at one point, called a "guarantee" - Aamo ended up just as bad, but you expressed hesitation about him in the following statement, so that's a bit more fair.

All deals are 1.5m, so it's just a matter of whether you want more playing time, a better contending team, or if you fit in well with a particular group of guys etc. You make that decision based on the pitches you see here, then you go to the portal and accept the offer you want. I'm Ottawa and will offer you 2nd pair to start off, with a good chance of jumping to 1st pair if you stay active. I expect us to be mid-pack, not really contenders but probably not the worst team either.
