With the Season 74 Draft tomorrow I think I'm going to go a bit old school in this 590 and rank my preferred destinations at the draft. This used to be done by everybody in the draft but it seems not to really be a thing anymore. Maybe we are afraid to upset other members, or drop their stock which of course is understandable. But me? I'm an old school guy with an old school attitude so I'm going to go ahead and do that right now. Of course I'm not going to refuse to play for any of these teams and most of these teams I have slim to none chances of even playing for. But I always thought these were fun so why not try and give them a bit of a comeback the day before the draft. 1. Moscow Played for there for all of Clarke's seasons, I'd love to be back. 2. Los Angeles I'm a Kings fan so this one is an easy second choice for me. 3. Davos Was mostly always on Davos when I was my most active. 4. Chicago Jeff led us on the Oregon Trail he will always be my hero. 5. London Big tings in the UK bruv! 6. Seattle Top notch organization, never have played for them. 7. Riga My number is retired in Riga what can I say? 8. Vancouver I helped name this organization when they were Quebec City, won my first cup as an active here. 9. Toronto I've always had a thing for Toronto, when I was at my most active they were consistently great. 10. Warsaw Don't love the name but love the city and colors. Muff owes me a cup or 4 for the Reik vs Snijider debacle. 11. Prague Prague is one of my favorite cities in the world and I am big on their logo as well. 12. Calgary First team that ever drafted be all the way back in Season 6 or 7. Tobias Hemsky, what a legend. 13. New York I always seem to go inactive when I play for New York so maybe I associate them with me not enjoying myself. Certainly don't have any hard feelings against NY. 14. DC 15. Malmo Victor made me hate them out of a rivalry that never happened, so here I am. 16. Helsinki Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. 1525. Vasteras Fuck Vasteras

My First Draft as An Actual Decent Prospect In Awhile Well, it appears that I am finally back as a member who can get a reasonable amount of TPE and manage not to flake out on his GMs. I have been extremely hot and cold as a member here through the years, either TPE whoring and extremely active or never logging in for months at a time. But when I do commit to a player, I can definitely tell the difference than when it feels like I'm recreating just to recreate. I've talked about this before but the portal really has become such a game changer for me personally, it makes it so much more immersive and easy to update our players. Although Clarke all things considered was a successful player because I had a good time with him and won a Continental Cup, I'd say player wise he was very average and wasn't doing anything special of note. For my new player Jonas Stormsson, I'm hoping he can contribute a bit more to his team rather than just being a depth player. Individual success is never my game plan with one of my players, the reason mostly being is I've only ever won 2 Continental Cups as an active; nether of them being with my best player Ansgar Snijider. So for me it's mostly always been about winning and trying to have the best time possible with a team. Stats are nice, but when you already have one Hall of Fame player you feel like you've already accomplished the main individual accolade. With Dean Clarke, I was drafted 51st overall with nearly no hope of me ending up being a decent player. So essentially I had little to no conversations with GMs leading up to it. I suppose I got lucky that @Victor took a chance on me because he recognized my name and I felt an obligation to help out an old friend in the league. But I'm thankful I did because it did reignite a fire in me to start enjoying the league again. So with Stormsson, I didn't particularly enjoy my VHLM season but to be honest I really never do. But being buried on the third line after about halfway through the season made me invest even less on the VHLM side of things, but I have still been looking forward to actually being an intriguing prospect that team's are interested in this time around. Drafts have become so deep in the VHL that even over 200 TPE after this Media Spot, I probably won't be selected until 25th or later. That's absolutely insane to me and a real testament to the depth of the league and it's something that allows the draft to be a lot more unpredictable than it used to be in the past. I think that adds for a lot of excitement for not just the players but really tests the GMs and AGMs on their knowledge of the members and prospects that are in the draft. For the first time in a long time in this league I'm really excited to see what the draft holds for me and I look forward to seeing what organization I join, especially with the new expansion teams in the mix as well. I could easily be taken by a team that I've never played for as an active, and that's something I could have never pictured when the league was on it's last legs just a couple years ago. Cheers to all the S74 draftees, it's one of the most exciting times in your player's career. So enjoy the process. 600 words

My 500th game with Moscow, wow! Wish I could've had a bit of a better game though haha.

Both teams look really good, it doesn't surprise me. 3) What NHL team do you think will win the cup? Avalanche 4) What NHL player do you model your VHL player after? Erik Gudbranson 5) Any surprises so far in the VHL this season? I think we've been surprising a lot of teams. 6) Who is the most under rated player on Moscow? I think Pavlov gets overlooked for how truly great he is.

HFBoards. 3) What do you think is the key to Moscow being the best they can be this season? I think everyone needs to perform at their max capabilities and that's what will get us as far as we can go. 4) What do you think is the worst case scenario for Moscow this season? Missing the playoffs. 5) We all know Victor is the best. What GM do you think would be 2nd most fun to play for besides victor? I think playing for Jeff would be fun. 6) What is your favorite fast food place? Popeyes probably. Wendy's is great too though.
