1) If we are being honest basically all individual awards should be handed to this team.  Every award every position.

2) I don't watch basketball and don't know what that award is.

3) The only motivation needed is the thought about beating other people.

6) The moment the Buffalo Bills ended the playoff drought and made the playoffs again finally after nearly 20 years away.  The team freaking out in the lockerroom.

1. With the VHL season drawing to a close soon, what players on our team do you think deserve an individual award, which one?

Well, I don't want to be bias whatsoever, but if Bart doesn't win some goalie awards, something is wrong.

2. The NBA Playoffs are starting up this week, do you watch basketball? If so, who do you think will lift the Larry O’Brien trophy this year?

I like the Raptors since I am Canadian, but I haven't ever really watched, other than looking who won the championship.

3. The VHL is a fun experience, but it can also be a little tedious to get that TPE. What motivates you to get your updates in every week?

I just enjoy watching that number rise, the writing is a task sometimes but it worth it. And I need to earn as much as possible here to make a good jump to the VHL.

4. What would you consider to be a guilty pleasure of yours?

My guilty pleasure is this. I spend wayy too much time on sim leagues as a whole to be completely honest about in my real life. 

5. We had two tough losses today, and we didn’t look like our normal dominant selves, do you think we will be able to bounce back next sim, and take control again?

100%. The rumors were Bart was battling a sickness for those games, but some rest and a good sleep should get him back on track.

6.  What would you consider your favorite sports memory, whether it be you playing in it or watching your favorite team

My favourite memory was my whole minor hockey career. My last game, my first game, my first goal, my first hat trick. Everything about it

I would change it so I became commish for longer than a day with unlimited power

I think a good chunk of the western teams can win, and I am not that sold on a bunch of the east teams. It's not really a dark horse considering their placing, although is considering their first round history, but I think if Toronto can beat the winner of Tampa Florida then this might be their best chance yet.

5. Does your player have a goal celebration they use a lot? If so, what is it?

My player doesn't celebrate

6.  How was your spring/Easter break? What did you do with all the extra time on your hands?

It was great, i slept

1. Nothing is going to make me more confident in this team than who we already have in our LR. We scored 8 goals in the clincher. 

2. Right now, no, or at least, there's no obvious projection for anyone to come close. Ovi was the guy for so long. 900 goals is just a ridiculous number—just consider what it takes to average 45 goals per season over two decades. With the game getting faster and fewer guys are relied on for as long of shifts, it just seems hard to project any one guy to do it in this generation at least.

3. I have not been here long enough to have a good idea of what to do fwiw, but I think it would be cool to have some more twitch streams. The drafts are super cool this way; it'd be great to have some mechanism for live-streamed things (maybe something like free agency/winter meetings? idk).

4. Edmonton. Dk why, just have a feeling.

6. I have two kids so we set up Easter eggs all over the house. Best thing I did was keep hiding more eggs in my 3yo's boot every time he walked away so he kept checking the boot all day lol

1) It doesn't matter if they predicted us to go undefeated or lose every game there's no chance this team loses.

2) Not a flipping chance.

3) More free TPE for super veteran's of the league.

4) I don't think it'll be easy but the Penguins are going to make it happen.

5) My player has 0 games played there's no celebration I mostly play Risk on the bench.  Then I skate out for the team hug after we win.

6) There is no extra Easter break time for Americans who work.

VSN is a bunch of hack frauds, the fact they picked Houston to win the Founder's Cup is probably a bad omen. I haven't paid attention to anything VHLM-related, so I can't really call it either way.

 

2. Do you think anyone currently in the NHL has a shot at breaking Ovi’s goal record? If so, who?

Matthews maybe... or McDavid if he really stops giving a crap about his teammates and just ints all game doing nothing but trying to score goals. 

 

3. The VHL is great, and tons of fun, but it's not perfect. If you were Commish for a day, what would you change about the VHL?

Remove the strict moderation and allow VHL members to speak their mind, argue with each other, call each other names, etc. I think some people are scared to be active because of how ban-happy things to be around here. We're all adults playing in a fictional hockey sim league ffs. If you're a kid, go do your home work or something. Get off of VHL. 

 

4. Who’s your dark horse for the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year?

Dark horse for me is the Washington Capitals. I'm rooting for the Colorado Avalanche, but they're one of the favourites for the cup I'd say... Washington has a pretty decent route to the finals, so for me, they are the dark horse.  

 

5. Does your player have a goal celebration they use a lot? If so, what is it?

Boomeranging the twiggie into the crowd and paying the associated fine that comes with it. If a fan can't catch the stick, or get out of the way, it's their own fault if they are injured. 

 

6.  How was your spring/Easter break? What did you do with all the extra time on your hands?

I went on an easter egg hunt but didn't find any easter eggs. I guess the easter bunny hates me, but that's alright because I'm more of a thanksgiving guy anyways.

1. I think Houston has a good chance, although I hope Mexico City knocks them out this round.

2. I'm a little too new to VHL to have an opnion on this, but it sounds like the record may be hard to break.

3. I think I'd run it back, bring back the European league as an interim step between VHLM and VHL.

4. Las Vegas is my dark horse for the playoffs this year.

5. My player doesn't really have a goal celebration, it doesn't happen often enough. Much more likely to get assists than goals.

6. Sadly no break for me, I'm a 44 year old working man. I got to have easter sunday of course because I don't work on sunday's, but no break.

I am already extremely confident that we re walking away with the cup this season. VSN just assured me that it will happen.

None in the current game, and by how the league has evolved and is, I doubt anyone ever will again. 

3. The VHL is great, and tons of fun, but it's not perfect. If you were Commish for a day, what would you change about the VHL?

The money system. Make it more like the SHL (shhhh, I never said this)

4. Who’s your dark horse for the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year?

I really want my team to win, Edmonton, but I have a feeling the Maple Leafs are ready for an outburst.

5. Does your player have a goal celebration they use a lot? If so, what is it?

 I spent basically all of my Easter Break at home, playing wayyyy too much Rainbow Six Siege, and making some Graphics for the ISFL because I am broke.

1. Take advantage of their penalties. We have to start being more effective on the PP if we want to come out on top.

1) I think we have been taking it easy on Halifax just to make the league think it's fair.  We really are the best team, and we don't need to do anything different we're just letting them win a couple games.

2) I haven't watched any of the NHL playoffs yet.

3) I haven't looked at these yet either to be honest.

4) I bought a camper for the family.

5) Supporting Canada or Russia difficult choice we'll go with Calgary since they are a legacy franchise.

6) Impossible to pick just one but I've been big on there nerds gummies lately and peanut butter sponge candy.

The JST since I'm in it assuming that's the junior show case tournament not that I know whats going on

Sleep, it was very fun

Moscow, because Moscow is cool

We just need to play the exact same we have all season long and the whole playoffs as well. We can do this.

Well, I have been only watching my team, the Edmonton Oilers, and they sure have made it entertaining, being down 2-0 in the series to being up 3-2 now. 

3. We have a few off-season tournaments going on in the VHL right now, the WJC and the JST. Which off-season tournament is your favorite?

Bartholomew Lorequavius really enjoyed playing in both, as he won the championship in both, one with the Rush, and one with team Europe.

4. What’s the most fun thing you did in this past week?

Went out fishing at a local river. We caught lots and it was a great time. 

5. Who do you think is gonna take home the Continental Cup? Calgary or Moscow?

I have not been following, but go Calgary! 

6.  What’s your favorite type of candy?

I have to go with Mike and Ike's. Classic childhood favorite that I still love.
