Hello all I have two reason for the Rush rebrand then a couple rebrand/Relocation Ideas for it all, Let's start with the first reason the Rush name and logo doesn’t feel (to most of the league) like its own its Yukon's, and I mean that, I love the rush great team great name when it was the Yukon rush as Geneva Rush it doesn't really work, it does not make sense with Geneva background or history, its doesn’t roll of the tongue, the Rush belongs in the M and that's not happening so rebrand or relocation is the only way I see fixing this. I know a lot of people will see the E wont be around for long, face it people the E is going to be here for some time yet nobody who runs the league thinks it should go yet that happens it does, as far as it goes its just going to take some more time for it to be completely accepted, I think we need to make Geneva is own, it does not share history with Yukon, so why does it share its name, a name that does not even work, with the Geneva city, what I’m saying is the the false connection with the Yukon Rush needs to go we are not the same franchise, we don’t share a history, nor do we share the same fan base in the league most yukon fans hate we use the rush name lets honor em and change Geneva's name, now let's dig back onto my other reason, I don't know why yukon was named the rush I don't most likely won't,  but I do know that it's not to do with any part of Geneva's history, landmarks or anything honored in that area, I know some of the other teams in the league names are not due to the area or whatever, but at least they sound good I don’t know about anybody else, but to me Geneva rush doesn’t even roll off the tongue, I know what a lot of you are going to say “oh wow the gm hates the team name, if you hate it so much why gm the team” I love the E, I love the team we have in Geneva, I hate the name. And Yes I Can Hate The Team's Name And Still GM It. now what's some possible changes in name or relocation areas for the team, lets start with rebrands.

Geneva Beavers- this is a really weird name but Geneva the City is right on Switzerland Lake Geneva and beavers is one of the many creatures that find their home their

Geneva Lakers- this one could get us in copyright troubles but once again the city is built on a lake, what more should I say

Geneva Buzzards- The Common Buzzards birds are found here, I'm not a huge fan of the name but is a option base of a animal found here in big  numbers

Those are three ideas. please tell me your ideas for team names as I suck at coming up with team names, also to make this funnier and more of a group chat then me ranting.

And as far as relocation goes Paris, Berlin, Manchester City, Madrid, Vienna, and Dublin. Would all be great places to have a possible VHL team as none of them have one as of right now. Anyways thank you. Bye!

Rule #1 of re-branding:

Bring a logo concept with your pitch :D

if I bought a logo I would be rejected right a way

A concept doesn’t mean buying one. A general idea goes a long way.

I am going to analyzing the Rush name for both Yukon and Geneva as my main series of articles analyzing team names transitions from the M to the E. I will throw my hat into this ring and see if a rebrand is really necessary. That will happen in a couple weeks time.

Review: Being an former AGM of the Yukon Rush I will admit that I don`t like the name staying with Geneva. As for the article please don`t use bold for the whole aspect when writing as it actually takes away from some of the points that I think you were trying to make but rather use bold in key aspect to make a point to highlight key parts of agreements or bring attention to words or paragraphs. Also watch repeating your points and spelling/grammar (I know I am one to talk). Also try to have solid cases and point behind why you want to change the name and what you want to change the name to. Add logo and maybe even team color concepts. Geneva is an interesting place since it is located on the largest Alpine lake in Europe, also known for Swiss Chocolate and cheese and also the tallest Water fountain in the World the Jet d`Eau. Also has the second largest HQ of the UN. Why am I stating this? Team names of course as we have the following as options: Geneva Alpine, Geneva Jets d`Eau (Means Water Jets), Geneva Fromage Suisse (not sure you tenders will like this one) and Yes, Geneva Lacquers (Lakers in French; if my translation is correct). Colors of the team should follow that closely of the cities colors of Red, White, Yellow and Black.

Overall ranking: 6/10 Key aspect is the layout of any article with proper spelling and grammar making it easy to read.
