It's no ordinary Golem, though...Brock has used his Shape Shifter to turn it into a Ghost-type! Poliwrath, being the higher-level fighter, will attack first with Hydro Pump. Ordinarily a 4x multiplier against Ground and Rock Pokemon, the Shape Shifter pulls through and cancels out the multiplier! It's officially done something meaningful, as Golem stays in the game. Golem hits back with Earthquake... Reveal hidden contents ...which Poliwrath survives, and with another Hydro Pump, Golem is out of the game! However, it is likely that the winner (and last place finisher) will be determined by this round! For the 1st place game... @omgitshim stands alone at 3-0 @JardyB10, @OrbitingDeath , @Doomsday, and @rory all are at 2-1. Jardy just lost to omg so he's out. Doom's loss is to rory so he's out. Both OD's and Rory's losses are to Jardy. However OD brought Jardy to his last Pokemon and was 1 turn away from winning. Rory only got to Jardy's 2nd Pokemon. So because of that the 1st place game will be between omg and OD! (though Jardy holds the tiebreaker for 2nd place over OD if Jardy wins and OD loses) Next game will be between Rory and Jardy. Jardy has lost to an opponent with the highest overall record, and Doom lost to Rory. Next game will be between Doom and one of @Berocka, @Enorama, @Lemorse7, and @dlamb Doom already beat enorama and Lemorse. Between Berocka and dlamb... Berocka's losses are to opponents with cumulative records of 5-1 Dlamb's losses are to opponents with cumulative records of 3-3 So Doom vs Berocka! Between Enorama, Lemose, and Dlamb, @Ricer13 has already faced 2 of them. So the last 2 games are Lemorse vs Dlamb Ricer vs Enorama So in summary: OMG vs OD Rory VS Jardy Doom vs Berocka Lemorse vs Dlamb Ricer vs Enorama Final rankings will still be based on record and tiebreakers. In our first battle, we've got: BROCK @Berocka Raichu lv 42 Golem lv 43 Rhydon lv 61 SABRINA @Doomsday Exeggutor lv 45 Alakazam lv 45 Espeon lv 43 SABRINA leads with Exeggutor, while BROCK will choose Raichu. SABRINA will get the first move! Exeggutor will lead with Solar Beam, which Raichu survives and will counter with Thunder... Reveal hidden contents ...it's not very effective. Exeggutor knocks out Raichu on the next move! BROCK will now bring in Golem, who he will equip with an Oran Berry and a switch to Dark-type. The first move will be Stone Edge... Reveal hidden contents ...which Exeggutor survives and counters with Solar Beam again. Reveal hidden contents Golem survives, and the Oran Berry it's been equipped with takes effect! It will use Stone Edge again and knock out Exeggutor! SABRINA will choose Alakazam, who's been given as much extra ability as possible so far, for an attack on Golem. Alakazam will use Dynamic Punch to get the job done, and it's now 2 against 1...with the 1 being BROCK's Level 61 Rhydon (not Rhyhorn), this game's most powerful fighter. Reveal hidden contents Rhydon comes in swinging with Stone Edge... Reveal hidden contents ...which Alakazam survives! Coming back with Hydro Pump, this fight is over with the smart placement of a Water-type move! SABRINA WINS! JESSIE @Enorama Gyarados lv 68 Espeon lv 37 Venusaur lv 39 JAMES @Ricer13 Raichu lv 38 Charizard lv 40 Alakazam lv 40 JESSIE has a Level 68 Pokemon, something I've somehow managed to miss entirely to this point while I've been talking up Berocka and his horribly underachieving Rhyhorn Rhydon. It's no contest--Gyarados will go first against JAMES and his Level 38 Raichu. With one shot, and with no multiplier to help, Raichu is knocked out by Hyper Beam! Thanks to the type difference, JESSIE should be very relieved that Raichu didn't get a chance to strike back as JAMES will gear up with Charizard and use Flamethrower... Reveal hidden contents ...it's not very effective. One Hydro Pump, and Charizard is out. JAMES sends out Alakazam, with the question now becoming whether or not Gyarados is capable of taking over the entire match. Alakazam will use Psychic... Reveal hidden contents ...which Gyarados survives! Gyarados will counter with Hyper Beam... Reveal hidden contents ...three moves, three knockouts! Gyarados has just pitched a perfect game in our Team Rocket showdown! JESSIE WINS!
