We're just about half-way done the regular season, yet it already seems like the European Conference playoff teams have been decided (if there was any doubt from the get go).

Cologne, HC Davos, and Stockholm all hold 25 points or more over the fourth-place Riga Reign. This means that we'll definitely be seeing these teams duke it out come the post-season.

For this week's Power Poll, we're going to see just who the readers think we'll win the conference when all is said and done.

While we know that these three teams will be in the playoffs, it's hard to tell just where they will end up in the standings.

To begin the season, it seemed that Stockholm was the favourite to win it all. They suffered a bumpy start with iffy goaltending, but balanced out and hold the league lead for goals for. They're certainly on the rise with many wins, and very few regular time losses.

Cologne has had a strangle hold on the conference so far this season. With XXX and O'Malley running away with scoring while Brookside puts on a clinic in the crease, it's not surprising the Express are in the lead so far. Could we see a repeat when all is said and done this season?

And Davos is also in the mix here. The league's leaders when it comes to goals against, Davos has been solid on defense. The team seems to be slipping a bit with losses coming up recently, but Davos still has fewest goals against. Could they turn it around?

Let us know in the comments who you think has the best shot. Best comments will appear in the Mag!

As great a team as Stockholm and Davos are, Davos is still young and I think they just lack one season of experience with most of their players. Stockholm are becoming more and more dangerous but with the terrible start that Brick Wahl has gotten off to, I think Cologne's lead has extended too far for the Viking to catch up at this point.

While it may be arrogant to say Cologne, the fact that we have played several good teams and still have lots of games against weaker teams makes me think we will hold on.

Stockholm and then their going to choke in the playoffs. Calling it now.

"Choke" against the current top team in the league and defending Cup champions? Both Stockholm and Cologne have good teams, it's a close match up and series neither team would choke unless the series is a sweep imo.
