HOLY SHIT FIRST THREE WAY TRADE SINCE S27!!!

Think Quebec steals this. They paid an extra 2nd as opposed to a 3rd yet they got the younger, better goalie, and an extra player.

They paid 2 1sts actually...and a 2nd versus a 3rd. Walron was for 1st and 3rd which we were going to do either before or after.

Yes technically Quebec paid only their own 1st but they essentially traded the value of Waldron + a 1st and a 2nd for the two players.

Yeah, Victor didn't seem to be considering the fact that Quebec was merely upgrading from Waldron to Mikaelson, whereas you were acquiring a goalie from having none.

Still, I think Quebec is the big winner in the deal, but everybody got what they need at a rather fair price all around.

I'm confident this trade will end up very nicely for Seattle. The goalie market was made of two teams, both with only their own S46 picks, this was the best way to swing it especially with all the young goalies coming. If we had waited a season Quebec or Cologne likely would have just sold and no one would have wanted a goalie.

But Waldron was worth a 1st, so really...it does. :P Granted both of these S46 1sts could be later so there is that as well.

Not from Quebec's perspective. They trade a 1st and a 2nd for Mikaelson and Strauss and have to dump Waldron.
