I will be a General Manager soon enough again if the time comes that I feel is right, but this article is actually more about someone else. I publicly endorse @DollarAndADream as a General Manager and think he would grasp that position quite smoothly. Trav is a smart individual who I've always felt has had the respect of everyone in this league/forum. Trav is a competitor who strives to succeed in the areas in which he focuses on and he understands the VHL system. So he hasn't exactly chalked up a VHLM GM job beforehand, but he is one of the few members I can see not needing that to be a GM. The market value on players is something that comes over time and in the VHLM it doesn't give you a fair assessment on the VHL market. Finances are easy to keep in line that even a baby could do it (maybe not @Higgins though). I feel that people would want to play for him and I believe he understands the simulation a little more than he may let on. So call this an endorsement but for all who agree, say "I". I just don't want to take away an opportunity for someone else to do it. I'm not dying to do it like some people do around here sometimes. If there aren't many good options, then I guess I could cave. Calgary will need a GM and I can think of another franchise that might need a new one fairly soon.
