Playing hockey again.  I look forward to see what Bratislava can do and how I can help, I hope to pass the puck to Pierre @Gaikoku-hito so he can score the shit out of it.

I forget who Davos selected, but I know Alex always does a good job picking players so it safe to say Davos will be competitive.  Just not as competitive as Vancouver!!

What can I say???  I have forgotten what the roster is, other than Antonia, David, and you got a couple of good trades.

Build defense so that when I get into VHL next season I can help Vancouver kick the shit out of Davos.

I think I have to say recreation because it's just so exciting but I am genuinely excited for Sadie St-Louis' last year as well.

I feel really good about who we got; Frank Hardy dropping down to us was awesome.

I feel really good because even though we only have one really high TPA player in Ironhide, that prospect pool is ENORMOUS and there are a lot of fun presences on the team.

Just hoping to have a decent season goals-wise since I will be one of the forwards with more ice time I think.

1. What are you most looking forward to in S94?

Just playing at the VHL level for the first time, honestly. The M and the E are fun for getting started, but I'm jazzed to really get into the meat of my VHL career.

 

2. Nearly a week out from the draft, what are your thoughts on the players we selected? 

Couldn't be happier with the way the draft turned out. Hardy is going to be a future star, mark my words, and I think both Stefano and Tsunami were absolute steals where they were drafted - both could have been Top 10 picks and had it be justified.

 

3. Adding onto this, how do you feel about the Davos roster and prospects going forward into this season?

This season may be the final year of a rebuild, albeit one with a step forward. But going into the future, I think this has the bones to be a multi-year true contender in the making.

 

4. What is one thing you would do if you were VHL commissioner for a day?

For one day? Well, I'm getting access to the donation account and making sure some of the funds are, ahem, re-allocated. What, you didn't say it had to be ethical.

 

5. What are your goals for your player this season? 

There's a lot of Rookie of the Year hype starting to build, but honestly that's not a goal for me. I want Grimgor and Sadie to come out strong - and if they're getting their numbers, I think I'm going to be just fine.

 

7. Where was the last place you traveled to?

Just got back from a wedding in Portland, Oregon last night! I do like the Pacific Northwest and the greenery and the people. But the cost of living and being so far away from family is a no go.

Absolutely I believe it is more important than offense.

Wrist shots are quicker and not as easy to predict when the shot will fly compared to slapshots which are very telegraphed.

8. Of the remaining teams in the NHL playoffs, who do you believe will win the Stanley Cup?

I fully believe Dallas will win the Cup but I am absolutely rooting for Edmonton. p.s. the kings deserved what they got

Enjoy the games and discord.  Fights are fun.  Put all your TPE into fighting.

Scoring more than the opponent wins championships.  Goalies help a lot on defense!

 

7. Which shot is more difficult for a goaltender to stop: a wrist shot or a slapshot?

 

Slapper sends the heat but a wrist shot is tricky.  Ask a goalie.

Unfortunately I believe New York will win.  But if you asked who I wanted to win, I’d say Boston.

It's been OK. Not great, by not being in a playoff position, but not the cellar either. I think this was always going to be a rebuilding year anyway though.

 

2. As per tradition, what is your one bold prediction for the season?

There will be a rookie somewhere in the VHL that tops 100 points this season. Maybe it's Bucatini, maybe it's Content, maybe it's elsewhere. But there's a lot of talent in that rising VHLE class.

 

3. Do you expect our team to fight for a playoff position this season?

I do predict we'll finish sixth in the conference, which technically is one position outside the playoffs, but I do think there's a gulf between the playoff and non-playoff teams in Europe this season.

 

4. Are you participating in VHFL and/or Super Coach?

I am! I really appreciate the work put into getting these done, I think they're a good way of helping me track other players throughout the season I wouldn't normally care about.

 

6. Do you believe defense wins championships?

Generally, yes. In the VHL, not really. I've just seen too many teams go all in on forwards and goalie and be rewarded.

 

8. Of the remaining teams in the NHL playoffs, who do you believe will win the Stanley Cup?

Not sure who will win, but I'm hoping it's Edmonton. They've got some real dedicated fans that I'd like to see rewarded, and even though I'm not Canadian, them winning a title over Florida just feels right.

One word……. Hmmmmm…..  lets see……..  how about…….   “Good”

 

2. Who is your player’s render for graphics?

 

Radko Gudas.  He became my favorite player when he played for the Silvertips and he was famous for the Radko hip check, and it got a lot of fights going.

 

3. Of the three main point tasks, which is your favorite: graphics, media spots, or podcasts?

 

If I was talented, I’d do graphics because it seems to be the most fun.  Then I’d do podcasts but my ability to do podcasts sucks so I do media spots.

I like the new set up.  

 

5. What is your favorite part about being a part of the VHL?

 

Playing hockey and keeping my teeth in my mouth.

Had to come up with something related to Thunder and Thunder buns just didn’t sound good in english, so went the spanish route

Consider, yes.  I think it’d be cool, but I’m not computer savvy.

WAAAAAGH, Davos is big team, with big players, we really good at killing things, I mean, winning games. Grimgor is very big!

Grimgor the best defensive forward of the season, no better one at bashing heads and getting big points.

No, not that Grimgor cares, Grimgor only needs big points. Very big beautiful points.

Ya, I bet on my own games in VHFL, always win that way as I know how much I need to do. Would get 300 points every season if not for betting.

Be cool, be nice, be chill. Care. That is it, nothing else matters.

No, only offence and goaltending. Defence good, offence better. With good offence, no defence can stop that.

1. On Monday, Theme Week begins! Any guesses as to what this season’s theme could be?

 

Hmmmmm, let me think….  Well without knowing who makes the decision, there is no way for me to predict.  I just hope its easy and fun.

 

2. With the TDL also coming up, are there any additions you would like to see Davos making at this point in the season?

 

Yes, I’d like to see them lose every game to Vancouver.

 

3. What goals do you hope to achieve by the time your current player’s career is over?

 

Just be a contributor to the team and hopefully win a championship.  

 

4. How long have you been a member of the VHL?

 

I think January 2021, with a few month break due to family deaths.

 

5. As of right now, which VHL team do you think is Davos’ biggest rival?

 

As always Helsinki.  At least that’s what @Ahmasays.  Helstinky.  

 

6. Oilers or Panthers to win the Stanley Cup?

 

I want oilers but think panthers will pull it off

 

7.  Who do you believe will go 1st overall in this year’s NHL draft?

 

No clue.  I only went to one Silvertips game and didnt follow any players 

 

8. Do you prefer traveling by car or by plane?

 

That depends on where I’m going, for how long, and how much the flights are.  So I guess the question is too open ended.  Or….  I have no preference, its just the considerations.

Well, my current players time is running out, I don't see us winning the cup during that time. But I think we're poised to win the next 8 seasons. Always next player to win with!

A bit over 9 years. Time runs, huh?

Panthers take it. They won't let it get away from their hands again.

Easy. Macklin Celebreni. I don't see San Jose doing a "Montreal" this draft.

Car, bus, trains, zero reasons to use airplanes to go anywhere. Very American question
