That’s where it all started for me and that’s where I’d like to start my gm career. 2. Relentless! Despite all of Calgary’s undeniable talent all their players give it their all every shift, and when one player isn’t going offensively he is making up for it with his effort. 3. I believe it will be tight but definitely do able! Just need to stay consistent. 4. Sirky has been a stud for us! We are confident every time he’s in the net that we have a chance to win! 5. yes! Perry hasn’t been performing offensively as consistent as I would like but it’s not for a lack of opportunity. 6. Negative, the workouts are just getting more intense as I prepare for the playoff but don’t want to risk an injury so it’s a fine line. Saskatoon, both because it was where I played in the minors, and I also have a real-life family connection there. 2. Our team identity is "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts". We're not a top-heavy team with a bunch of plugs on the bottom line, we're a team that is pretty balanced up and down the lineup. Also, defense wins championships (I hope). 3. Absolutely. We're 2 points back (although with one more game played). 4. Real good. Our team's problems come from a lack of scoring, defense and goaltending have been excellent. 5. Yes absolutely, although as a high TPE center, ice-time is pretty much a sure thing. But I don't care if I get PP time or whatever, I just want wins. 6. Switching to light beer during the dog days of the season. Got to stay light on my feet. Tallinder's idea to have some sort of weekly announcement highlighting some of the best user-created content. 4. None of this matters if we don’t get it done in the playoffs and we can’t be rusty or not ready come the dance! That’s what keeps me motivated. 3. Oh but mine of course! I would really like to see an in-depth trade deadline coverage but there were also sooooo many great suggestions!! If the league made 1% of them come true I’d be happy. 4. Our lines have stayed consistent lately and we have been finding the chemistry we have been looking for all season! 5. Embrace everything second. The wins and the loses! This is the best time of year to play hockey, the most fun you’ll have with your teammates and we might just accomplish greatness together. 6. It would have to depend on where the defensemen is positioned in this 2 on 1 but realistically I think Perry being the captain wants that pressure and wants to be the guy all of his teammates can count on to win the big game and be the clutch performer when they need it! But he also knows if the better play is to pass it he wouldn’t hesitate for a second. The possibility of winning a cup keeps me motivated to keep max earning and improving my player. 3. One of my suggestions was to have a regular recap of the top community-created content. I feel like that would help make it easier to find good articles to read and whatnot. 4. We had it in us all along, but I do think the change in goal gave our team a jolt for sure. 5. Did they meet your goals? 1. We had an up and down season with consistency, with higher goals then just the wildcard, but we know this is where the real challenge starts and we are ready for it. 2. depth, are roster has legit two way abilities on every line and defence pair! Everyone can chip in and be the difference maker at any given moment. 3. Our scoring. We have the horses for this race but often time then not we haven’t put in the chances that we are generating and we need the top guns to step up. 4. the man between the pipes, they are going to need him to be the guy! 5. Perry needs to lead by example, although his leadership is expressed in multiple ways he feels he has let his team down this season offensively and would like to start off on the right foot against DC. 6. See question 5 haha! But no it wasn’t meeting my personal goals; although those goals come second to my team goals it’s still nice to hit on both! But my players plus minus and PIMs were my biggest gripe. Late to the party on this one, missed when it was posted. 1. Was feeling good about the team heading into the playoffs, but worried that we might not have the firepower to contend with some of the teams that seem like they can score at will. 2. Good looks and suave charm. 3. Crippling alcoholism. 4. Klamasteris. You never win a championship without a solid 'tendy. 5. Win it all, or at least go deep. 6. Definitely had hoped to score a little bit more, and be a little bit more positive on the plus/minus. But our entire team seemed to have some difficulty scoring this year, so I'll settle for tight responsible defensive play. Some players will move on and other will develop larger roles, unless something significant comes up that they can’t refuse, but I trust managements judgement. 4. Malmo 5. tinafrombobsburgers 371
1. Negative! Perry can’t stand Seattle the city, and Malmo is just too far away while doing his off season training. 2. took a few weeks off and flew to his hometown in Vancouver to visit friends and family but now is back in the gym and training. 3. Kris Rice 4. Thatcher Demko 5. Spikeball and soccer. Decent at basketball but lacks the pure scoring talent. 6. “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” - Michael Scott Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/56510-calgary-wranglers-press-conference/page/30/#findComment-872151 Share on other sites

Playing golf and getting ready for next season 3. I'd probably go with Scotty Campbell, as they would be a great asset for our team 4. I'm going to go with one of the funniest players to be around in Ilya Bryzgalov 5. They have improved a lot at golf recently and may enter a couple tournaments 6.
