The fourths mean absolutely nothing, it's basically Phillie for Matthews, 1 for 1. Matthews is younger, but only by a season. It's true Davos needs forwards, but Philliefan is a far better defenseman than Matthews is a forward. In the case of a rebuild, it's better to take the better player over positional needs.
