Nicks Picks #4 Who Wins The Founders Cup?

     Well it's time, with playoffs starting on Sunday, we have an important question we have to ask. Who wins the cup? Who's going to be immortalized in glory? Who falls short? The playoffs is where underdogs shine, and giants fall. When asking the question "Who wins it all?" we have to look at some important factors. Sure the sim engine determines the winners, that's indisputable. But what if I told you that it was much more than that, because despite this being a sim league, despite the victories being nothing more than code in a strong of 1's and 0's. The one thing that's absolutely real is the bonds we share with our locker rooms. And only one team has that from my experience. The Ace's. 

 

     The VHLM isn't really looked at as a serious league, just a development one. I know that some VHL players will say that, it gets more fun in the big leagues. But right now, the minors is all I know, it's all that's real to me. And the Ace's locker room, is the best in the entire VHLM and possibly the VHL. Lead by GM @Spartanand AGM @JigglyGumballs this locker room is special. They've created a breeding ground for talent, and left no room for toxicity. Ask anyone who's in the Ace's discord server, it's where people go to have a good time. The players support one another, they laugh with one another, they push each other to strive to be better. The locker room is made incredible by people like Drew Minott @DreMin15 (I spelled your name right just this once), Chris Reynolds @Crstats23, Gary Rush @G_Rush, Its Gucci @frescoelmo and so many more. This team has what it takes, on paper, and in the locker room to win the founders cup. Halifax might be giants, but the Ace's are giant slayers.

Also a huge shoutout to the rooks, @Nordin, @Hoopydog, @Ledge_and_Dairy, @DangerGolding, @Jonessee27, @SimmerDown99 and @Caboose30 for continuing to uphold the attitude and mentality that the Aces organization loves to uphold. Every single one of you have brought activity, respect, and passion to the locker room, and I'm thrilled for another season with the few of you who we drafted. Can't forget @Domino Draws either, with one of the best midseason entrances anyone can have!
