drewowo 32
I really like getting into the stats of all my teammates and just how well we all play together! So i'd like to dedicate this week's article into analyzing every individual players play during this season. So far, the Minnesota Storm are 19-4-3 which gives them 41 points. This great plays puts them first in the Eastern Conference and 2nd overall just behind Houston. This great record is all due to the great stars and depth this team has. Let's dive into the forwards for Minnesota. Firstly. we'll analyze the First line for the forward group. Playing first player for the Minnesota Storm is Maksym Jankowski @Max12. Jankowski is having an impeccable season, as he's posted 21 goals, and 23 assists which adds up to 44 points! Getting all those minutes and playing against other amazing first lines, he is coming out of the games today as a +19. Jankowski also lays the body pretty heavily as he has 92 hits! Next up is That Dude @Cornholio. This pretty stellar dude has 18 goals and 17 assists making up 35 points. Dude likes to lay the body a bit too with 48 hits! Our last first liner is Brendan Telker @Telkster. Telly is sitting pretty with 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points. He has a big 112 shots already and comes out with a +22. The average amount of points combining all three of the players is 40.66! Amazing start for this dynamic line. The second line is up next, which consists of Henry Tucker @NotSoGood88 , Nikolas DAndrea @Nikdandrea34, and Brian Moreau @weekz. We'll start with Moreau first, who has 16 goals, 20 assists which accounts for 36 points. 10 points above PPG is pretty good for the second line. Other Notable stats are 128 shots, and a PM of +14. Our second player is DAndrea, who has 12 goals, 13 assists for 25 points. Not the most defensive player as he's a -2, but he can definitely get that up! Our last player is Tucker, who has 8 goals and 21 assists for 29 points. This man is an apple master as it appears with his goal/assist ratio. He is a +1 and has 73 hits! The average amount of points for this line is 30. The third line has Captain Grapes @Grapes-Tophat_Clan- Assist Captain Joseph Sharkton @TheOGShark and Green Gaming @Lilpfigher. Gaming so far has 4 goals and 10 assists for 14 points. He has already tied his previous season record in 40 less games! He is a +4 and has 44 SOG. Sharkton is having a very great season for being on the third line. He has 9 goals and 23 assists for 32 points! Great season for the assistant captain as he also has a +4. Your CAPTAIN, Mr. Grapes so far has 7 goals and 14 assists for 21 points. He's having a better all around game this year, as he has a +10 this year compared to his -30 the previous year. Average amount of points for this line is 22.3 Lastly, the fourth line has Gary Tarantino II @Garrett, Brussels Sprouts @Liberty_Cabbage, and Calvin Hobbes @2hawk. Hobbes is doing pretty decent on the fourth line, as he has 4 goals, 5 assists for 9 points. He's a -3 right now, but he still has a lot of growth ahead of him. Brussels Sprouts has 2 goals, 4 assists for 6 points so far. He does pretty good defensively as he has 19 hits and 3 SBs. Gary has 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points. He is a -7 so far this season. Again, this line still has a lot of growth and for now they serve as good depth for the team. Average amount of points for this line is 5.6. NOW, onto the defensive core for the Storm! First pairing we have myself, Assistant Captain Logan Moore, and Markuss Puhovs. @VOID Stiles. Puhovs has 8 goals, 19 assists for 27 points. He is a +19 and has been a really good offensive presence for this team on the backend. And this is only his 2nd season, which is pretty impressive. Next is Moore, who has 6 goals, 19 assists for 25 points. He is a +19 and plays good both ends up the ice with 107 hits and 46 SBS. There's not kidding these two are one of the most deadliest pairs in the league. Average amount of points for this line is 39.5. Our second defensive pairing is Vincent Correll @correllvincentand Ron World Peace III @stevo. Ron so far has 3 goals and 11 assists for 14 points. He plays a pretty good defensive game with 27 hits and 29 SBS. He also so far is a +15, so a pretty good sophomore showing so far. Correll was recently a trade acquisition from the Marlins. He has 0 points right now, but with our team he has 13 hits and 8 SBS. If he gets a bit more active with point tasks i'm sure he'll blossom perfectly. Average amount of points for this line is 7. The third defensive pairing consists of Bahram Kamkar @Eagle Eyeand Barron Kruulenstien @LefLop. Barron has 0 goals, but 9 assists which obviously gives him 9 points. His defensive game consists of 27 hits and 18 SBS, coming out with a +1. He is having a pretty decent rookie season, and he can only get better from here on out. Kamkar has 0 goals as well, but 12 points. His defensive game has him with 47 hits and 18 SBS, coming out with a +12. These two make a very good shutdown line, keeping the puck out of the net for our goalie. Average amount of points for this line is 10.5. Our final D-pair is Jacob Oldenburger @Jacob oldenburger and Sean Ramirez. Ramirez so far has 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points. His defensive game consists of 9 hits and 13 SBs. He's a -6 so far, but he's only a rookie so there's a lot of time for him. Oldenburger is also a rookie, who only has 1 goal so far. His defensive game consists of 25 hits and 5 SBs. He's a -8, but again tons of room to grow and he'll turn into a solid defensive defenseman for this team. Average amount of points for this line is 2. Oh boy, if you've read this far thank you. We are now moving onto the final position, goaltending. Your starting goaltender, Tator Tot @Trunkxolotl! Tot so far through 16 games has gone 10-3-3, while posting a .891 SV% and 2.99 GAA. Tot is only getting better, as he is getting closer and closer to bringing his SV% up to .900. Here's me hoping he gets there before the end of the season. Our backup goalie, Carter Bellamy @Leafsfan328! So far through 12 games he has a 9-1-0, with a SV% of .879 and 3.08 GAA. I'm assuming the missing wins/losses are from when Tot was pulled and he went in to fill for him. Great tandem between these two, and they're doing great at their job. This has been a great season so far, and it's all because of these beauties above. Let's continue this dominant play for the rest of the season! 1,218 Words. For both weeks ending 7 and 21. jRuutu 2,464
9/10 Nice look into the Minnesota team and the season so far! I especially liked the comments about players and their previous seasons, fun to hear how players and their careers are going, are they improving, etc! Solid article. The only comment I have for potential improvements is adding another picture somewhere, but that's about it - well done!
