  5. Only a few days ago right winger Sergei Kovalev was drafted eighth overall to the Seattle Bears. Kovalev never imagined playing for his favorite team growing up. Excited roared through the Kovalev residence and to this date still is. @Banackock made this dream come true for the Russian superstar. Post draft Sergei talked about how he is pumped to start training and building himself into a weapon for the Bears. For the upcoming season Kovalev has made the decision to stay down in the VHLM to take more time to develop into the player he wants to be. General Manager @Banackock is on board with Sergei's decision and is helping him along the way with pointers, tips, and encouragement. With that being sad the VHLM draft takes place tonight. Sergei will be a top 2 pick for sure as he is sitting pretty on 175 tpe. The highest out of any player entering the draft.

  8. With the VHL draft soon approaching Sergei Kovalev is getting super anxious to see where he will end up. The past few days a lot of Mock Drafts as stating that he will be going to Calgary 13th overall. Sergei says that he would love to land anywhere that would enjoy to have him on the team. His most interest is for sure in Seattle though. Kovalev has had a long friendship with GM @Banackock and has enjoyed every season he has spent there with previous players. If Kovalev had to choose his top three teams he would want to be a franchise player for it would be: 1) Seattle Bears - due to his relation to the team and the history with the organization. @Banackock 2) New York American - Mostly because his favorite NHL team is the Rangers. Where statement we know. @Spade18 3) Toronto Legion - I have never had a player on Toronto and it would be cool to see how the team is and how it runs over there. @DollarAndADream So guess we will see how the draft turns out!

  13. This week Sergei Kovalev and the Oslo Storm VHLM team went to the local sick kids hospital to give all the children a visit and help out where they could for the day. It was definitely a day that all the boys and girls will never forget. The smile all the kids had when all the players walked into their rooms is impossible to describe with words. These kids are by far Oslo Storms biggest fans and the Storm know it. Later in the day General Manager Laflamme met with the Administrator of the local sick kids and set up a monthly date where the team will come in and spend time with the kids for the whole day, three players at a time. They were beyond thrilled that the Storm wanted to be so involved. But that wasn’t where the Storm ended this amazing day, they also gave the sick kids organization season tickets from now till forever so that the kids can take turns coming to the home games.
