I played it and liked it, too. I should probably go back through and make different choices with some things to see how the storyline changes. Definitely agree on the soundtrack being great as well.

Shortly after hitting the waiver wire, Daryl “Double D” Dortch received three offers from prospective VHLM teams. Here, we’ll highlight each team and the pros and cons of each. 1. Saskatoon Wild: The Saskatoon Wild was the first team to offer Double D a contract. They currently only have one player on the roster in Buddy Nielsen. The team is in last place and have officially been eliminated from the playoffs. They have three wins to their 47 losses and two overtime losses. They’re being outscored 43-241, not exactly the best destination for a somewhat offensively inept forward. That said, their GM, Bogdan Podarok has a special place in the heart of the Evryday Player Agency. Also, Saskatoon was the team that originally drafted the other player they represent, Felipe Rodriguez so there is some familiarity there. 2. Brampton Blades: The Brampton Blades were the second team to reach out to Dortch. Brampton has a pretty full roster as it stands and they’re in a good spot in the playoff picture. They have Jack Kraken with 40 goals on the year to go with his 41 assists. Their GM, Smarch, is someone the EPA is not familiar with despite them having a very large presence in the league. The draw here is the fact that Felipe Rodriguez’s short tenure as GM was with the Brampton Blades. Of course, Flip traded away any active players for draft picks while he was there but the Blades seem no worse for wear since then. 3. Ottawa Lynx: The third offer so far comes from JardyB and the Ottawa Lynx. The Lynx were able to snag up the EPA’s first player when he came onto the waiver wire and they went on to bring Rodriguez his only cup so far. Their offer comes in at the lowest dollar amount but may be the most promising when it comes to success. The EPA and Ottawa have a history of success but is that enough to draw Double D there? Their roster lacks a physical presence up front but has a strong defensive core and one of the top goaltenders in the VHLM to back them up. The earliest Dortch can make his decision is around 9 PM EST tonight. Last word out of the EPA was that Dortch had not made his decision yet. There’s a lot of great offers out there with the possibility of more coming. Will he follow the money? Will he follow another player agency he has a history with? Or will he go to the team his player agency has already had success with? This won’t be a make it or break it decision as the contract will only run until the end of the year when he’ll enter the VHLM draft. It will give him a great opportunity to show what he’s made of, as a sort of audition for the Season 51 VHLM Draft. Keep an eye out on VHL.com as we’ll be following the story closely as we approach the 9 PM mark.

More interesting than constantly writing about my own I figured.

…a point in 26 straight. The VHL’s current leader in goals and assists, and naturally, also points, is the Quebec City Meute’s star winger, Tom Lincoln. He’s put up 41 goals and 51 assists giving him 92 points at 50 games played. He’s also managed to maintain a +67 plus-minus rating so far this season. Despite his massive point total up to this point, he has only gained 15 points with the man advantage. Lincoln has not been held off the stat sheet since Game 118, a 2-0 loss to the Cologne Express. During his 26 game point streak, he has scored 23 goals and racked up 32 assists for 55 points, that’s over two points per game (2.11 to be exact). He is second in the league in shots taken with 355, 203 of them taken during the streak including a 17 shot, two goal game against the Wranglers as well as a few 11 and 12 shot games. Arguably his best game of the season was during Quebec’s 8-0 victory over the New York Americans who have been selling off all their players hoping to get draft picks in return when he scored four goals and added a helper with a plus-five rating on 12 shots. But his stellar performance is not to say the rest of the team isn’t carrying their weight. Unassisted is second on the team in scoring with 75 points (34 goals, 41 assists) and Aleksi Koponen has 73 points (33 goals, 40 assists). They are the top three in the league right now while John Sleeman continues to prove his move to forward was the right call with 65 points (26 goals, 39 assists) good for fifth in the league. One thing Tom Lincoln lacks to make him the complete player in the VHL is his physical game. Sleeman and Koponen have proven they’re not afraid to lay the lumber when the need arises with 256 and 143 hits respectively. Lincoln, however, has managed seven, yes you read that right, seven, hits so far this year. To his credit, he hasn’t really been required to play very physical when he can rely on his skating and scoring to do the talking. His seven hits are among the four fewest in the league behind Thaddeus Humbert (now Lincoln’s teammate), rookie Travis Gowecny, and Biggu Kyanon. His 117 hits taken though is towards the top of the league and the highest of the four players I just mentioned. Lincoln, Unassisted, Koponen, and Sleeman have all earned their spot in the S50 all star game that’s coming up soon. It’s always fun to cheer for your teammates when it comes to the all star festivities, even if you’re watching from home. Getting to see top talent play against top talent in an exhibition game is always entertaining and very high scoring. The list of all starts is highlighted with some good young talent like Sir William Covington III, Bogdan Podarok, Black Velvet, Dmitri Dadonov, and of course Unassited. All of these guys were playing in the VHLM just a few years ago so it’s nice to see all their effort and hard work come to fruition and earn them a spot in the all star game.

Quick question, with the way things are set up with new creates in the VHLM, I can accept a contract, it's not a bidding war anymore, right? I'll have to go check that announcement.

Correct. That was my mistake. When I reread what I originally posted I realized that was the problem.

@Kendrick I usually don't use words I don't know the meaning of. I think the confusion was in my original post when I should have said that one aspect of the SHL we should emulate (as in imitate, try to match, etc.) is their recruiting.

Review: I hear ya on motivation. I have my off weeks, too. I also agree that I've found myself logging on, checking the new posts and finding nothing but updates from the previous day. If there's one aspect of the SHL we emulate, I'll agree with recruiting. Everything else is better here lol Grammar, spelling, content, etc. checks out. Nice job.

My go-to in a situation like that would be Taco Bell.
