  1. Review: Nice work here. Definitely a well put together article. Couldn't find anything wrong with it grammar or spelling-wise. Keep up the good work and good luck with the Bears moving forward.
  2. I'll review it tomorrow if no one else gets to it.
  3. Review: I never knew Fong was so good lookin'. That is all. I won't count this as one of my reviews for the week because it's already claimed and it met all requirements.
  4. Review: Grading strictly subjectively, is that the right term?? Anyway gramma, length, spelling, etc met the requirements. Content wasn't consistent but I think you knew that and no one really cares anyway. Keep up the articles, help Koponen fight regression.
  5. Review: Good job here. I'm looking forward to the excitement of the VHLM draft again with my 2nd player. I wasn't that into the league the first time around. Didn't notice any issues with the article. Formatting looked good and all that. I did notice you called Brampton a perennial powerhouse though, and just a couple seasons ago they had no actives lol I would know, I was GM.
  6. Review: Another great piece. I like that you kept the running stat total "(2G)" throughout the article. Like the layout and format. Nice grammar and spelling. Looking forward to part 3.
  7. Review: Nice insight into you joining the league. I often wonder how people find these leagues. Didn't see any issues with spelling or grammar, good layout, looking forward to part 2.
  8. @ChrisF, want to bring this up to the word count and we'll review it?
  9. Review: Could use a little better formatting. It was just all one big long paragraph it seemed. Practice makes perfect though so keep writing and things will get easier. Seems like you had a rough night getting your car impounded. Will this impact your ability to make it to practice or home games?
  10. Review: Pretty neat concept for an article. I rike it. Of course, it's waaaaay too early to start using stat projections as being even halfway accurate but good job nonetheless. As for the article, nice layout, didn't notice grammar or spelling issues. Keep it up!
  11. Correct, just over 250. IDK what protocol is, maybe move it to a .com article?
  12. So this would apply to Project: Two Players players, too? I don't have carryover TPE so I'll hold all the power when I create? Then I'll go into the draft the following season?
  13. And I though driving 2 hours for a pug was excessive...
  14. Full Disclosure: I'm still undecided on how I'm going to start building but he'll probably be a goon for a while in the VHLM.
  15. With the recent hullabaloo surrounding the announcement of “Project Two Players,” many player agencies have announced the type of player they’ll be representing as their second player. One agency that has kept quiet so far is the Evryday Player Agency, or EPA. Usually they represent players from abroad. Whether it be Mexico as seen with Fernando Valenzuela, Jr. of the TCBL, Hector Encargo of the GOMHL, or Felipe Rodriguez of the VHL, or Japan with Tsuyoshi Maki also of the TCBL, or Austria with Eugene Feist of the SHL. However, they also have represented one Raymond Blue of the SBA who hails from the Windy City of Chicago. So, too, does Daryl “Double D” Dortch. The power forward winger out of the Uptown neighborhood of the city is about ready to make his VHL debut after playing four seasons with the Robert Morris Colonials just outside of Pittsburgh. Daryl Dortch stands at a towering 6’ 5” and weighs in at just around the 265 lb mark. He plays with reckless abandon and it shows in his stat line night after night. He was part of the number three power play in Division I Men’s Collegiate Hockey going 49 of 173 for a power play percentage of 28.32%, led by Zac Lynch who was fifth in total points with 55 in 39 games and Greg Gibson who was eighth in total points with 51 in just as many games. The Colonials were also ranked third in goals for per game with 4.05 while they were 31st in goals against per game at 2.74, still a difference of over a goal per game. The balanced attack of the Colonials saw four players in the top 50 in points meaning guys on their second line were able to step up as well. Dortch was promoted to the second line his senior year after playing more of a grinder role on the third and fourth lines his freshman through junior season. He was a huge physical presence in front of opposing goaltenders using every pound of his 260-plus pound frame picking up the gritty goals in the high traffic areas. The majority of his goals came from deflections as the big fella has some very impressive stick handling. He has very good hand-eye coordination allowing him to find the puck and get his stick on rebounds right in front of the crease. He knows how to play a physical game without ending up in the sin bin for stupid penalties. Any team looking for a big, power forward need look no further. Daryl Dorth is looking to join the VHL following this coming S50 Trade Deadling where he will play in the VHLM, the VHL’s developmental league. It’s still far too early to predict who will have the top waiver priority but whoever gets the opportunity to claim Dorth will definitely be receiving a project player. It’s unclear how his playing style will translate to the VHLM and eventually to the VHL but the EPA has already had some success transitioning from smaller hockey leagues into the VHLM and VHL so we don’t expect there to be too much of an issue.
  16. Update the link in the banner? This morning it was still going to S49. Never mind, it's all good now.
  17. Ejected less than halfway through the first in this one.
  18. At least my roster is legal this season?
  19. Nice first game at forward for Sleeman. @Frank
