  1. Review: Another great article in this series. Might get a little stale continuously doing these though. Maybe break it up with something else before doing the next series. Have no complaints with grammar or spelling that I noticed.
  2. Review: Great article. Like the use of the slideshow sigs in it, too. Nothing bad to say about it really. This is gonna be a scary team moving forward. I just mentioned it in my article actually.
  3. Review: "Titans get a game in their" should be "there" I'm also not familiar with the phrase "going down to the nail" I've heard "tooth and nail" as in "fighting tooth and nail" but whatever. Overall great article. I hope you're wrong about is losing to the Legion again. Hopefully I'll remember to check your predictions at the end of the playoffs.
  4. That was definitely my favorite of the Pokemon games. I had that "Hey You, Pikachu" game but that was lame. I still have my old Gameboy Pokemon games, too.
  5. I thought this looked cool despite the stupid watermark. The Quebec City Meute were on top of the world last season having the best record in the league. They got knocked down a peg in the post season not advancing past a single round. It appears, as a team, they haven’t recovered. Tom Lincoln currently leads the league in points with 48 (20 G, 28 A), most of those coming in the more recent games. He’s currently on pace for 45 goals, 63 assists, and 108 points which as good as that sounds is two points shy of last season’s totals. John Sleeman has had a break out year his first year at forward. Last year he had 69 points, 17 goals and 52 assists. This year he already has 15 goals and 24 assists, on pace for just about 88 points, a 21 point increase from last year to this year. His hit totals are also up as he already has 163 hits this season already 29 hits above last year’s total of 134, it also puts him in third overall in the league. The change to forward has done Sleeman good so far this year. Let’s hope I didn’t just jinx him. Aleksi Koponen, though pointless the last few games, has also had a pretty successful season. A perennial leader in the faceoff dot, it’s no surprise to see his 68.35% leading the league after falling just short of Edwin Reencarnacion’s 69.36% last year. Koponen is second in scoring for centers with 39 points, six points behind Joel Jarvi of the Cologne Express and his 45 points. One surprise this season, and not necessarily in a good way, is Greg Clegane. Clegane led the league in save percentage (.935), goals against average (1.57), shutouts (16), and wins (52). This season he is currently sixth in save percentage at .915. His goals against average is 2.22 with 17 wins and three shutouts. A lot can change over the course of the season but the Meute already have three more losses than they did all of last season. He’s on pace for 40 wins on the year if things don’t get turned around quickly for Quebec. Forty wins is perfectly fine for a goalie in this league but the way Artom Zhumbayev (22 wins in 30 games played) and Hans Wingate (20 wins in 27 games played) are playing, it’ll drop him and the Meute quite a ways down the standings. As a team last season, the Meute were first overall in goals for per game with 3.72, more than double their goals against per game of 1.53 (243.64%) while this year their numbers are a lot closer. (2.75 to 1.88, 118.92%). It also appears their powerplay percentage is down from 20.63% last season to 18.09% this season and their penalty kill of 89.07% last year has dropped significantly to 84.15% this season. It’s disappointing to say the Meute have no exciting rookies to talk about, actually, they have no rookies at all. The Helsinki Titans look to have a very good core for a long time to come. With the top three in rookie points all playing together, Odinsson with 31 points, Gow with 29 points, and Donovan with 25 points. Asher Donovan also leads the league in hits, not just rookies, with 166 hits while only picking up 39 penalty minutes. When it comes time to resign all these guys, I won’t envy Helsinki’s cap situation, but for now it’s fun to watch these young guns play.
  6. Let me know when you get and play Pokemon Snap for N64. I'll definitely tune in then.
  7. I'm glad I won the drawing the first time around then.
  8. looks like it might be a comma
  9. YOUR game 41, I think he was (maybe) joking because we're at Game 125+ on the season.
  10. There are two games 125s. Wanted to make sure everyone saw your hat trick? ?
  11. TBH, never heard of these guys but you gotta respect that he's still out there, like you said.
  12. He's just hatin', JK. This is sick. I always liked these types of sigs and they always get criticized in these leagues.
  13. Someone was saying this was happening on the SBA, too. I thought it was fake.

  15. Review: This was interesting to say the least. I can't really review it much. It meets the requirements I think lol Some of your rhymes were questionable.
  16. So far this season it has been another disappointing year for the Quebec City Meute’s Felipe Rodriguez. Through 18 games this year, he’s only earned five points coming in the form of one goal and four assists. For those who are interested, that’s .278 points per game as a first pair defender on a team that’s 11-6-1. He’s been working on his passing and puck handling every chance he gets but it appears it has not started paying off yet. Rod’s previous defensive partner, John Sleeman, has moved to forward in what could definitely be called a good move (Sleeman is second on the team in scoring, tied for fourth in the league with 25 points). Without a good option to replace Rodriguez on the first pairing, it looks like the Meute are stuck pending a roster shakeup of any kind. Rodriguez attends a ball game in Toronto. We could bore you with all the specifics about his decline, but let’s speculate why it’s happening instead. One theory that we have been throwing around the office is that he’s distracted off the ice. He’s been spotted around town with a certain female who seems to be taking up a lot of his time. He has also been seen attending several Toronto Blue Jays’ games throughout the season when he should be practicing or watching game film. Rodriguez and his mystery lady friend. This is all speculation as his point production wasn’t all that great last season either. That being said, he’s on pace for 20 points this year, which would definitely be disappointing and 19 points less than last season but I digress. Another speculation? Montezuma’s Revenge. His recent trip back to Mexico, however short, could have exposed him to untreated water or street vendor food. He has been north of the border for quite a while now and his body seems to be adjusted to the food quality here. He cannot handle the Mexican bacteria in food like he once did. We reached out to several members of the organization who have access to the locker room but they declined comment (not really but for the purposes of this article we’ll say we did). One final guess at a reason for his lack of point production is an underlying injury. He recently attended a concert where he may or may not have consumed one (several) adult beverages. Rumor has it he tripped down a flight of stairs and injured his ankle. As the concert was overseas in the UK, we had no photographer presence at the show. He has shown no outward indication of an injury of any sort but getting hurt while under the influence of alcohol would not be a good look for Flip to his fans, teammates, or management. New single from band Rodriguez saw. All we can do is hope that this is just a temporary issue and he’ll get his head back in the game and start producing points like he hasn’t done since his time in the VHLM. Playing alongside Jeff Hamilton should help him improve his game and become an elite defensemen but that evolution has been slow going and we're not convinced Quebec will be that patient.
  17. Thanks for alerting me there's a new theme. Dark grey text on darkish blue background doesn't look the greatest for the user in posts. Looks crooked on mobile.
  18. Review: Congrats on the career, can't wait to see what your defender brings to the league. Article meets all requirements and I saw no issues so good job there. When will we get to see some of this poetry?!?!
  19. Review: Nice job getting the word count up. That was the only negative I had about the article previously. If you can make sure to get the words, you'll be a star in the VHL in no time. Keep up the good work!
