  1. If we are getting technical yes you're right, but keep in mind when we refer to franchise depth we don't often count inactive as a priority on the depth chart. Furthermore, even if Helsinki was to draft me I wouldn't be behind him on a depth chart anyways. So in a sense you wouldn't really refer to him as the second goaltender. You only have one on the team, the other is a player who is in the VHLM and hasn't updated since Feb 13th. So yes in your franchise you have 2, but not on your team.
  2. Winning percentage is one thing though, without a cup is what I was referencing.
  3. Chet Manley better not be the second goalie you are referencing because he hasn't really done much...
  4. No, I'd play for him. I don't see why not. The guy has one of the least successful GM tenures but I don't think that would keep me away from backstopping his team.
  5. I started the year with a roster that is nowhere like the one I have now. Also, that trend isn't new. You must be new to the VHLM goaltending system

  9. Welcome back to another edition of the VHLSC Draft Rankings. In edition #4 we have a breakdown of what is going on and what trends we are seeing in this draft. First off, the prospects in the top 13 positions seem to be on a steady climb in TPE (besides Rask Rowe @Rowe89). Sometimes the seasons grind can slow production down a bit but most of these prospects have been steadily increasing their value. One thing to note about that is that in years past that hasn't always been the case and it has greatly watered down our VHL Drafts because of players losing focus throughout the tough VHLM season. A couple of our players in the second round territory have sparked a little and have turned in a good couple weeks here. Luca Volkov (@Kyle) and Jon Snow (@ChiefNoka4) both injected some life into their draft value and both may see themselves in first round consideration if they continue on. For the first time in weeks, we see only two goaltenders in the top six positions. Markus King and Torstein Ironside both solidify themselves in the top three yet again. Aleksei Federov (@Banackock) has made the case to be the first defensemen off the board in the upcoming draft as he impresses with a strong couple weeks here. Fook Yu has a strangle hold on the #1 Centre position and teams will obviously be looking at him closely going into the draft. It takes us 8 positions to find our top winger and Rudolph Schmeckeldorf (@Corco) takes that title for now, but Takashi Fujimoto (@HFD) is hot on his trail. Going forward we will be watching several battles for position rankings. Being that some times have needs bigger than others, we could see a shift in draft focus as not all teams need goaltenders or even defensemen. The battle for the #1 goaltender taken will be interesting but the most interesting might be the battle for top Right Winger selected. Takashi Fujimoto and Verner Reinholdt (@Devise) are battling it out and one of these has a veteran agent behind him and the other is fairly new. Teams may choose to go the new route as the ceiling looks to be higher on the young Fujimoto. How do you see the first round shaping up?
  10. Its okay and to give them a chance
  11. mal on 100!
  12. Brampton Blades have been moving up the standings lately. The Blades who were one of the middle teams during the first half of the season, have changed the tide a bit. Blades are now fighting for a shot at the 2nd position in the VHLM Standings but could see themselves as a heavy favourite going into the VHLM Playoffs. Brampton has been climbing the charts thanks in part to Roman Sokolov and Marc-Alexandre LeBlanc who each have 101 points on the season. Markus King has been steady in net; amassing an amazing 23 shutouts on the season. The Blades finish the season facing Saskatoon 3 times in the last 7 games and should have a chance to grab that second seed if they keep on their winning ways. With no games remaining against either Yukon or Ottawa, it means that the level of competition in their final games isn't as high. Then again we could see a shift of focus and maybe a collapse, but that doesn't look likely.
  13. @Advantage *For Kohler
  14. Nope it wasn't.
  15. Which I did as we constantly talk. Maybe a little "minding your business" might work here as well.
  16. We have come to the end of this contest! We will be using the following banner. Thanks to everyone who submitted! @HFD If you haven't already you can claim your 6 TPE + 3 Uncapped TPE in your updates! Congrats and thanks for helping us out
  17. Well thats interesting. We'll see what they do
  18. Is that right? Hmmm.
  19. Not trying to get under your skin at all. But you say I whine and I think you mind business that isn't your own. Are you attempting to get personal now though? Because as a "new" member I don't see how that is advantageous in any regard for you. Someone is fucking with you as well, as they have told you what they were told by members of the SHL. I'm glad though that you called me a 10 year old and then chose to listen to things you hear from the grapevine. Sort of the pot calling the kettle black.
  20. That would be fun to watch.
