  1. Thanks! Looks great. I like seeing what others can do and draw inspiration from them. I made a signature last week for my media spot submission.

  5. With the World Junior Championship set for the coming week, Team Canada's roster and management are well prepared to hit the ice and take full advantage of the experience. Represented by eight teams, two VHL and all six VHLM clubs, the Canadian roster was pieced together with one goal in mind; Gold. On paper their roster is strong offensively and can compete with the worlds best. However, on the back-end, Canada has more questions than answers. Their d-core is led by Las Vegas' Cayden Saint. Saint has an impressive 40 points through 34 contests and is 2nd in the VHLM with a +27 behind Aces and Team Canada teammate Julian Borwinn's +29. Aside from Saint, Canada's defense is among the tournaments worst (on paper) when it comes to depth. While Burnt Toast has put up strong numbers (14 G, 29 A) with Saskatoon, his abilities remain raw but has proven to be a strong stay at home defense-man that can get involved offensively. Toby Fitzgerald has delivered a strong defensive game with unproven offensive skills. A lack of defensive talent in the Canadian pool forced Canada's hand in selecting Jesse Sublime; a player that has shown little effort in improving their overall abilities but will hopefully relish in his opportunity to represent his country. Canada's top line is projected to be Shawinganen centering Twinger and Davis. Both Davis and Twinger have spent their entire season in the VHL. Davis with Toronto has amassed 33 points (16 G, 17 A) in 38 games while this seasons #1 overall selection (Twinger) has had an incredible season with Riga tallying 53 points (25 G, 28 A) in 37 games. Shawinganen has centered Las Vegas' 2nd line in his rookie season posting strong numbers (17 G, 20 A) through his 34 games. Julian Borwinn is arguably the highest rated VHLM forward heading into the tournament and will see his minutes on the second line with Dabarno and King. Rounding out the forwards are MacKinnon, Wilinsky and Mendes who are all having strong VHLM seasons of their own. The tournament is shaping up to bring a lot of excitement to the season. With all the nations rosters set to go, hype has built around the league as fans anxiously await puck drop.
  6. @Trifecta I selected a 20 man roster prior to being informed we could only select a 15 man roster. The original post had to be edited so I treated it as an invite vs final roster. Besides, this is how these tournaments work in real life, players get cut every season. Read the comment trail in the post. Your player made Team World anyhow.
  7. Original post updated with camp invite list and final roster following cuts.

  12. 1) We're now a few games into the regular season, what are your thoughts on how your team has done to this point of the season? Vegas has proven to be a powerhouse. Jacobaa19 and I have been active in returning Vegas to a championship mentality and it has paid off exceptionally. 2) What are your thoughts on your own performances? Borwinn leads the league in scoring and I could not be more pleased. 29 points in 20 games with a +21 rating; lovin' it. His draft value raises by the day and I am very excited for draft day. 3) What's been your favourite game to this point of the season? Following the acquisition of Crosby on D, we had two excellent games this morning resulting in 5-1 and 6-0 wins. Not really a favourite game thus far, but this was my favourite morning of games. 4) With the World Juniors being announced to return this season, how excited are you at the prospect of potentially representing your country? Team Canada unfortunately has lost a lot of its top players to nationality changes. I will be honored to represent Team Canada, win or lose. 5) We're currently working on creating a more up to date video tutorial to help people around the site, if there's anything you're currently unclear of or something that took you a while to pick up that you'd like to see mentioned in the tutorial, what would it be? Basically anything regarding the player portal prioritizing claiming TPE. Especially selecting the right week for TPE claims. 6) I do a tag for you when I post new press conference questions, would you like that whenever a new point task opportunity arises? Yes that would be very appreciated. I try to keep up with the activity on the site but it is very easy to miss things especially early in the week when everyone is posting their completed tasks.

  16. The question-marks around Julian Borwinn's return to ice hockey have been quickly erased. At the VHLM seasons 18 game mark Borwinn leads the league with 13 goals and is tied for 3rd in points with line-mate Oleskiy Revchenko; both with 24. The most impressive stat is Borwinn's relentlessness with creating scoring opportunities and creating rebounds. His 91 shots on goal leads all players on the Aces roster. The chemistry between Borwinn and his lines center-man (Revchenko) has been kismet. They are able to find each-other on the ice with what looks to be little effort. The Vegas Aces as a whole have become a force in the VHLM from strong performances in net (Pepper) and consistent performances from most of their line and defense pairings. Vegas fans and management share in the excitement this season has held thus far and anticipate even greater outcomes as the season ages. For anyone who follows the Aces closely, the collective performances are just the tip of the iceberg. Their all new management team for S62 have signed and acquired players in a number of transactions to continue to improve their depth and longevity. Their newest addition, star d-man Sidney Crosby acquired from the Yukon Rush. Claiming for week ending Sept 2nd
