Let's get this started. Couple options for the format of the tourney. We could do any of the following: - Head-to-head, winner moves on - Total votes, everyone submits a sig every week, winners determined by total votes - Grouping: randomly select 3 groups, everyone can vote for a sig in each group, whoever has the least is out, one fewer player in each group every round We'll vote during the week, but you can start your sig anyway. Your theme this week is CLEAN. You can decide what that means for you. Deadline is Wednesday the 17th, after that we'll move to 7 days for each round.

liking the retro vibe, text effect is dope. Tough to do a lot with this theme I found, but it looks good. Could maybe use a more prominent light source but overall nice work.

Great brushing effects, nice texture work, and great design overall.I guess my only nitpick would be that the text is a luttle off. The K has a bit of red that's a little odd, and the kerning (letter spacing) is off in a couple places (the LA mainly). Nice job, looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

@boubabi his player is named crosby, it checks out. I like it overall, not too much to comment on but it's well done. Nice colouring and effects. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Really nice execution. Text is sick and the whole tone of the sig is spot on. Great work.

Colouring is great, but could be a bit darker on the sides of the sig I think. The main sparks/fire effect is a bit too intense I think, but still works. Nice job overall.

Really great text work, overall mood is nice. Love the stock work. Good use a bit more lighting work, just to bring out the render a bit more.

You are the king of lighting and depth. Always excellent. Agree with boubabi on the black bar clarity. I think it would've been nice if you used some brushing in black behind the text instead. Great sig overall though.

What program are you using for sigs? If you're using Photoshop let me know, and I can give some more specific tips. First off, the render's lack of colour is a bit odd with the bright yellow and green beside him. For you text, try to keep it a bit more simple. I'd keep it level, and look around the graphics forum for some placement inspiration. Most of the time, the best sigs have text somewhat on top of the render. The background wavy effect is pretty cool, just could use a bit more overlaying layers to create some more energy. Keep it up!

Grunge executed perfectly. Great stock work, colouring is great, text on point. Echoing Beketov I'd say the sig could potentially be improved with a crop, but it's stellar anyways. Great work boubi.

Really cool feel to this. Colouring is sweet and overall lighting is good. Could use a bit more depth. Text is sick. The lighting right by his face is a bit overpowering for me, but other than that great sig.

Yeah main thing that is off is the lighting. Seems a bit flat overall, which could be solved with a bit of soft brushing on Soft Light. Some of the colour is a little weird by his arm as well. Nice work on the text, and the background looks good. Nice sig.

Seen some people really improve their skills since I was last around so I thought it'd be fun to get another competition going. For format I was thinking of a head-to-head style, but without elimination. So we'd have a set number of weeks, each week you face off against someone based on seeds or randomness or whatever. Then at the end we tally votes for each person. Just an idea for format, I'm not set on anything in particular. Pay will be the same as the last tourney. Sign up below.
