I'd make some clipping mask splatter layers. for the clip use a merged copy of the sig. Then maybe some astronomy stocks, maybe some random metal textures. To finish I'd make a Gradient Map layer from Orange to White, and set it on Hue and 50%. Then an Exposure layer set on Offset: +0.0164 and Gamma: 0.89. Then a Black to White Gradient Map set to Color on 85% and on the Mask of it brush areas that are too intense color-wise.

I like the start, but it seems unfinished. Maybe some more stock work and a bit more cohesiveness with the colouring.

What do you mean hand drawn? Did you copy and paste each circle? Cause that would be really simple with patterns. If you mean the non-pattern circles than I understand. Also, I stand by my statement I made in your last sig. I don't think you should feel limited by the idea of having to make a sig. The requirement only says it needs to be a graphic and league related. Not sure how good you are with logos and such but you could try making jersey mockups or making vector art of players.

Look: 1.75/3 - Step down from your recent stuff. The white smudge by his head looks bad, the stock over him doesn't look great either. Text is really hard to read, and the background offers no contrast. Creativity: 1/1 - indeed. Total: 4.25/6

Effort: 1.75/2 - I know it's in illustrator, but this still looks like it didn't take more than 5 minutes. You're going to have to impress if you want full marks in this category. Look: 1.75/3 - This one does look better than the last one. However, it still doesn't look great. Text is strange and takes too much away from the render. Not really sure what to suggest as I don't know what's possible in Illustrator. Creativity: 1/1 - for sure Total: 4.5/6

render looks a bit over-contrasted, but otherwise looks good. Text is decent, but try to make it blend in a bit more. But the stocks and such over the text as well as over the render.

Focal could use more attention since the background is so busy. A blur or better lighting would help. Text is decent but the colour switch doesn't usually work too well.
