Review: This has a few elements that I like. Splatter effects are always cool, and nice work on the jersey change. You could try sharpening the render, he looks a bit out of focus here, compared to the text and effects. I'll challenge you to try layering some stocks on top to blend the render with the splatter effects. You could try some of the tips outlined in my thread here:

Shit like this helps the graphic community as a whole, and while it didn't go as perfect as we would have liked, it definitely was a highlight of S66 for me personally, and I think it's something the VHL graphics community can definitely build on.

Week 5 sig was fire, just perfect.

First, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who participated. I have asked and received feedback about future competitions and they will either switch to bi-weekly or monthly. I will be having a poll for it soon so we can figure that out. I also may use the ranking system, and then for the final month or during playoffs, use the rankings to seed a playoff tree format. That way we have a regular season and playoff graphics competition. I'll make a poll for that as well. Looking forward to future graphics competitions ladies & gents!

Even though Vegas wasn't very good this year, there were multiple individual performances this season that should be recognized. Let it be a seasonal tradition from now on. Welcome to the S66 Las Vegas Awards Show! We don't have any cringy jokes, and we won't have the award winners hold a burger.

With 66 points this year, he found a way to light the lamp when the team struggled. His 22 goals and 44 assists were impressive, and his two way game was very prevalent. 50 blocked shots is a good total for a forward, and what is most impressive about his season was his plus minus. Las Vegas finished the year at -136, and yet Fourier still only had a -4. That is incredible.

Benson Van Roosen @Benson
 
Despite retiring this player and making a new player (Benson Kramer), Benson Van Roosen had a very successful year. With 60 points, his offensive game was put on display. He also led the team in blocked shots, with 174! That was the second most in the VHLM. It was a great season for Roosen, who hopes to continue his success with his new player.

RJ Lloris @RJMW
 
After joining on the week of May 5th, he has hit the 130 TPE mark, and is likely going to be one of the top picks heading into next seasons VHLM draft. He had 50 points on the season, a good amount. Next season, Lloris can be a force in the VHLM if he continues his improvement.

MORPHEUS DESTRUCTUS @Abaddon
 
Morpheus' impact on the ice isn't a question, his 373 hits were by far the highest total on the team, but surprisingly not the most in the league. He also had 237 Penalty Minutes, making his impact notable. His defense play and willingness to get down to block shots (137 SB) makes him the Team MVP. He also threatened to crush all my bones if I didn't give him this award, so that also helps his case.

Review: Nice first graphic! I don't make the rules but I'd say it fits right in! Not sure what software you're using, but if it's Photoshop or GIMP, I have a few suggestions: For the text, try match the colours to the piece a bit more, the black and white kind of clashes with the strong colour theme. Nice work on the jersey changes though, that effort is always appreciated. For the colour overlays, I'd try a different Blend Mode for the colour layers. Something like Lighten, Darken, Soft Light or Hue might bring everything together in a smoother way. Keep at it, and feel free to message or reply here if you have any questions!
