Game of Ambrose: You, the VHL, get to decide which team I sign with and which GM sits on the throne... Whether it was fun, exciting and interesting for the GM's and people watching - I'm not sure. What I do know is that I don't know If I've ever seen a "Player Page" get 52 reviews and 759 views or at least know it doesn't happen often. So for that, it was fun to me and I really like to keep things different, unique and interesting with each of my players and their experiences. Keeping it fresh is probably why I'm still here despite the same gruelling cycle that comes with being a Manager for 18 seasons and counting. NOW, if you aren't caught up to speed, I've been doing my VHLM Team Selection somewhat GoT style. AND then... the Deaths came fighting for the throne... So many deaths... AND NOW... The VHL Decides who ends up on the VHLM Iron Throne and wins the rights to my player (I sign with that team, so choose wisely). I gave them each the same questionnaire to answer - just for my amusement of Commissioner torture - please, if you wish, take those into consideration when making your votes too. @Devise I don't know how I didn't grasp the moment during the episode... but he wants to put a prince inside her, right? And she's already pregnant and he was eyeing her up... and I somehow missed that - but there's no way he's going to be okay with that. I think with all the other tension they built during that/those scenes - that was maybe a part of their goal. You knew right away Cersei was gonna push her off the ledge, but they built suspense maybe so others wouldn't catch what was going on elsewhere. Lots is going to go on. Danaerys is starting to look like the Mad King and I have this weird feeling that despite running off to Cersei and having that whole scene with Brienne.. I don't know.. the show likes to blow the minds of fans and really, every time Jamie goes running back to his sister and has done wicked/evil things for her - you're almost expecting it.. but something tells me maybe he puts an end to her. #FanTheory Now that I reread the first little bit - maybe Danaerys goes mad and Euron signs up with her? I highly doubt it but SOMETHING is going to happen there. He may see that he's being used and definitely doesn't want another line to the throne via a lannister kid (purebred too, not even a mutt).

So my thoughts on the situation are this --> The draft changed a lot of things this off-season and I understand with expansion and how the portal can be, things get silly - off track and what not. The schedule was a little messed up - especially with cut-off dates being in the middle of the week and being moved to Sunday, Training Camp opening and at one point closing prior to the draft and then being moved. You name it - it was basically an obstacle. It had zero to do with the VHLM. The off-season has been done for a week. Therefor, they shouldn't be punished for potentially poor scheduling, a little bit of a messy off-season and lack of maybe experience on the site. Please, do not take this as hostile as it's the furthest thing and I am 100% not cutting you or Beketov down. I'm just the VHLM commissioner and know the daily stress, struggles and frustrating moments. We appreciate what you both do when you find the time in your lives. I'm sure new members wouldn't understand the concept the best. The cut-off date was this previous Sunday and they knew they were unable to claim anything that would put them over the cap for that week. IF any did say a media spot or something that deliberately did it, can't really say much or help. That's your problem basically. However, Training Camp did extend into this week - could easily be claimed for this week instead of last week because of it. This week is not last week and does follow after the TPE Cut-Off Point. However, the start date for it was last week. IF anything, any player that was put over the potentially due to the training camp that claimed this week - I'd erase some TPE from them if they agree to it and wish to stay down. If they're at 207 TPE, they drop to 200. If they're at 201 --> 200 etc. Those are my thoughts. Any player who abided by the Sunday "Cut-off" TPE deadline should be good in my eyes as long as the situations are appropriate etc. I'd hate to see members - who really maybe enjoy the VHLM, do not wish to play up and really did their best to stay under - get fucked and then it affect the levels of enjoyment in these leagues or themselves as members. I'm glad we basically agree on this. @VHLM GM I too can help in situations with removing TPE and confirmation. Get in contact ASAP. @diamond_ace

I hope you all have kleenex next week beside you. I'll be the first to admit they were sneaky but predictable starting off with Ser Jorah and that speech Jon gave motivated the shit out of me. I didn't quite tear up but I was fighting them back kinda for whatever reason. Decent episode. Very interesting shit going on. Next Sunday gonna fuck us - hope they use lube. Whose it gonna be? Jon V Dany? Another Dragon? Tyrion or Varys? Maybe some of both? Maybe all? Arya? Sansa?

1. I like helping the GM's, the members and the league grow/enjoy the VHLM. We have a good group as you know, so it's also nice to have that close group to bug and joke with. When I first took the position, I was concerned if I was ready for it. I didn't want to fail, look like a dumbass or be inconsistent, but I think we've done pretty solid. 2. Yes. Lots are dead. 4 to go. About to kill another one soon. Then, I'm kinda unsure on the final 3. My gut and brain are screaming Philly because they may have the edge on paper for best team. I also like @BladeMaiden and don't mind their LR at all. Always good people in there and active! HOWEVER, my heart is saying make it somewhat more "fair". I am the commissioner and something I preach is that the VHLM isn't JUST about winning. It's about retention, growing new members and blah blah. HOWEVER, I still am a player and being a commissioner should really have zero influence on this decision. Time will tell, but I may leave it up to the league to decide. 3. I want him to be dominant. Strong on the puck, tallying up huge goals. I want him to be the best goal scoring d-man there ever was- so here's to hoping. My forwards always turn out to be good. Smirnov was seemingly great in his first year but levelled out afterwards. It seems I have an easier and more successful time with D-men (Federov and Kovalchuk). Kovalchuk is licking up the awards with half a career ahead of him. I think Stark is only going to be better.

This is actually an amazing point... This makes my decision hard.. though, I may allow the VHL to vote between the final 3 in the FINALE OF GAME OF AMBROSE.... DUN DUN.
