3.3. Discussions with Waivers General Managers are not permitted to speak with newly created players to influence their decision to sign with their team as a waiver player. Newly created players are to use the portal "Join a Team" process on their Manage Player page to identify which team they would like to play for. Teams are not allowed to send waiver offers to players without an intent to join message being sent by the player via the portal. Yeah, that's a weird one. I guess they can still talk, just can't make a pitch and not influencing them helps not stack the teams or whatever. Makes for more fairness and maybe even out teams which in turn should positively affect retention if you don't have super power teams and absolute ass ones.. I still think there's nothing wrong with pitches but eh. We'll see how it goes. VHLM GM's, imo, should be reaching out to new players and members that have joined the league. I'm certain retention is built into their job description and pay. It shouldn't start once the player is on their team. You're the first step for the player and for the entire league. It partially rests on the M GM's to engage and retain new members too imo (among recruitment team, commissioners and every other member - but more so the ones who are paid for it). As mentioned, we'll see how it goes. Can't judge a system without seeing how it works first. Hopefully it increases retention and GM activity surrounding it.

I think this will be my 7th Knight Award, 5 more than Knight himself I believe!

1. Good leadership - whether with the team, league, the work they do etc 2. Good moves - Trades, FA, Drafting, signings 3. Teams recent history (last couple seasons + the present one) 4. Standings 5. Improvements statistically / consistency 6. Other GM's sucking 7. More @Tetricide are you one of these things that's not like the others?

Yeah! I do ashwagandha and melatonin/magnesium rn for sleep and same! I stay away from caffeine though for anxiety reasons haha

I do - daily vitamin x2 - Whey-Protein but may swap to vegan just for my stomach. - Creatine - BCAA - Occasionally pre-workout - Omega 3’s - every couple days some ashwagandha
