  1. This seasons shaping up to be a pretty good one when it comes to races to watch. Like most seasons, we got our usual front running teams from the season prior, the same teams slumping and some pretty damn good performances from teams and a bunch of players. Buzz around the league is going as we are slowly approaching the halfway mark of the season and we'd like to turn the focus on these races. Which teams are the ones we should all be looking at? Who wins top team of the year? Which players scores the most goals? Gets the most points? Which goalie will defy all odds - stop the most pucks and we crowned victor of the best goalie of the year? All of these are what's making this year special as it's currently a tight sprint for a lot of hardware come award time. Without further delay, let's turn the light on some of them. Which teams takes 1st place in the regular season? Right now we got the Titans in first with 50 points, Quebec following behind with 45, Stockholm in Quebec's tail with 41 and the Wranglers and Americans both with 39 points. Essentially, you can count every other team out and take them off the list right now for teams who could win this title. Another one we can go ahead and scratch off right now is Calgary. No hate on them, but they're doing way better than expected and honestly, I see mediocre and a fall in their future. Both the Americans and Vikings are a little lower than I expected and Quebec took a nice little jump up to first in the North American conference. In the Euro section, the Titans are rolling away with things slowly but surely and are being led by a dominant performance from many players including Franchise Cornerstone @boubabi and Astrid Moon. In the end, we feel this is who is going to take the top spot at the end of the regular season. Who scores the most goals? This race is a thousand times tighter than the team side of things. The top 10 all have above 17 goals through the 28 games and from 1st to 10th, they're only separated by 6 goals so realistically, anything can happen. The top 5 rounds includes Cornerstone, Gowency, Boeser, Maxwell and Gaudette who range from 21 to 23 goals on the year so far. Though the race is a close one, we're unfortunately going to have to declare a winner and though it can go so many different ways, we're going to have to give this award in Helsinki's direction once again. With 23 through 27 games, Cornerstone takes the cake now and we feel as though he'll still be eating it once the season is up. Let's make a bold prediction and say he finished with 66 on the season. @boubabi Best goalie in the regular season? We're going to keep it short and sweet. Astrid Moon's number currently are stellar. 1.10 goals against, 0.938 save percentage, 10 shut outs and 25 wins. We don't really need to go on and on with this one. If he keeps the performance up, and based off our regular season winner predictions he's going to, than Astrid Moon will easily finish the season off with one of those Aidan Shaw things or whatever. @The Trollfecta Who collects the most points? Similar to the goal scoring race, it's pretty damn tight (though, not as tight). Again, like that one race, anything can happen though we're going to make a bold prediction here and say Maxwell is going to edge this one out. Cornerstone and him are the frontrunners for this I believe, however, I personally think that the Americans are going to turn the flame on under their asses in the final half whenever they can figure out what the fucks going on. Of course, they're going to be led by Unassisted and Maxwell who will take the race in this category with a point total of 129. @Strtlght (hey look, 600 and some words. +6 Federov)
  2. Gonna glue his hand to his dick tonight so he can't play in the next sim
  3. With how good we are this year, you're lucky to win this one!
  4. Best of luck with the rest of the season! Next year? Maybe teammates. This year? Oslo's gotta get that cup, man. Sorry! '
  5. Good game for you! Would of sucked to lose that
  6. Mr. #1 We don't think it's much of a secret, but if it is and you live under a rock, we'll give you the 4-1-1 on the upcoming entry draft's race for the 1st overall position. Pretty simple, there is no race. We're not taking away credit from the other draftees for how hard they've work and all they've done thus far for their players, but there's a certain player who has blown to the top and has such the gap, it pretty much makes this season the race for one player. Gabriel McAllister, the young VHLMer currently playing for the Saskatoon Wild, didn't have to do much to make a name for himself due to the fact that his agent previously represented one of the best, most successful goalies to ever strap on the pads. Yet, his agent is once again putting a flame under his players ass and is turning his prospect into one hell of a gem. If we take a look at McAllister, we'll find that he is lightyears above the next prospect when it comes to current the and his future level of potential. He currently sits at 212 TPE, having 37 of those sweet little puppies sitting in the bank. This means that while this is the last season, when he hops into his new role in the VHL, he won't be half bad. Depending on the team he lands on, he could have a really successful campaign. Next, we look to the scoring race where we see him sit in second - only one goal behind Mattias Forsberg for the lead. With 14 goals, 12 assists and 26 points through his first 15 games. Note, his point total is good for a pretty solid 5th place (behind 4 Oslo players). The next thing we'd love to take a look at, is his amazing scoring ability. With very few minor holes in this young guys game, his shot and tendency to find the back of the net puts him above the rest. Sitting at 85 overall in the stat, it's helped him throw up 14 goals in 15 games. While this alone is incredible, his shooting percentage is something that could stand out to his future VHL GM. 18.42% on 76 shots is good enough for 3rd in the league (keep in mind that the two shooting percentages above him only have 6 goals). Though it is hard to say what will come of him in the big leagues, it's safe to say that it's paid off big for him in the minors. Despite the possibility of him burning out in the future, we have a very strong feeling that whoever picks him, will be one lucky team. A deeper look It's not a gamble to say that McAllister will be going first overall come draft day. If he doesn't, a lot of people will likely shit all over their keyboards as their mouths drop to the floor (hopefully away from the shit). So with that being said, the next question will be - who takes him? The Frontrunners? Seattle, Cologne and surprisingly, Davos. The others who could take the cake, or have a shot at it, is Calgary, Toronto and Riga. Truthfully, expect Davos to get out of the race and enter in Riga Reign. No knocks to them, but with the mixture of a hard on for Davos and them having some decent players (and Riga lacking), we see them on the rise very shortly. In the North American race, we give Toronto the edge. Calgary has the better offensive players (though very few) and goalie in Jacob. The only thing that may help them fall is the Wranglers GM. I got a Lenovo laptop a couple years ago. This fucking thing took 3 months to finally arrive at my door. I swear my laptop had traveled most of the world before I finally received it. Every day I would punch in the numbers on the shipping website to track this dang globe trotting laptop. From Hong Kong, to Shanghai, to Korea, into Russia, then making a stop in fucking Alaska. Next stop Canada right? Fuck no. This little bastard of a laptop wanted to tour the mainland United States first. After what I assume was a guided tour of the greatest American sights, it ends up in Pennsylvania. I expected this would take one week max to ship to me, three months later it finally arrives in Canada. This laptop has seen more of the world than 99% of people ever will.

I bought on brand new Dell last year for a few grand because I needed a new editing laptop... Well. I didn't really track it. After about a month I checked the tracking number it said "error cannot find" after a few attempts I called Canada post... they told me the truck carrying it caught fire in BC and everything was lost. I asked why wasn't I informed. They said fell should have. So I called sell and they blamed Canada post. I asked so what about my laptop. Well after another 2 weeks of being dicked around and me threatening to sue they got money from Canada post. They sent a laptop and promised it quick. Well... the truck was broken into... long story short had to wait 4 more weeks for a 3rd laptop

  8. Who is not allowing and why can't you create your second player? Technically, wouldn't you just become an FA? @Frank loophole?
  9. The Oslo Storm, safe to say, are this years (last years) Las Vegas Assholes. Starting the season off as easily the hottest team in the VHLM right now, they spot a record of 13-2-1 and have bested second place so far by 8 points on the regular season standings. With the most goals scored (has 2nd by 28) and somehow letting in near the bottom too, the Storm look to push towards a strong playoff performance. Furthering on to what's hot about Oslo, the players are erupting with offensive performance and have seen big play from a lot of their guys. Raven, Forsberg, LaFlamme and Quill are the top 4 guys on the team ranging from 25-27 points and another 2 (Hodor and Low) both having above a point per game. The deal breaker for the team though will be their starting goalie, OSL G. With very little credibility and talent, it's going to be tough to keep the ball rolling. Oslo's strong roster and depth has carried them this far, but without a goalie we fear they will fail before even making it to the championship finals. @Bushitroll find a goalie, love. #4Forsberg +1
