  12. Over the last couple of seasons, Mattias Forsberg has quickly blossomed into a strong player for the Seattle Bears. While displaying dominant performances in the Victory Hockey Leagues minor league system, he then stepped up to the plate in the VHL and continued to hit dingers for the wall. Notably and most impressively, his agent isn't known to make players who stand out right away in the league other than Blake Campbell. The player prior, Sven Wolf, can also be made as an exception though as he was strictly a playmaker which would take away from some offensive production. Either way, Forsberg seems to be raising the bar a little bit for the Banackock agency. With 31 goals, 39 assists and 70 points through the 72 game regular season, it's safe to say he was satisfied with the performance. Now, as he continues to improve, he looks forward to bigger and better. It was a lot of fun and felt amazing to contribute like that for my club. I've only continued to get better and have broke the 360 tpe range. I'm training right now in the areas I feel best so hopefully it strongly shows come puck drop. 1 tpe for Forsberg
  13. Fuck me running.
  14. I was not aware we could deal S59 picks prior to the draft.
  15. Be a commie too and we can be commie's together
  16. @Devise fuck creating a spreadsheet though. I use my girlfriend mac atm and haven't done a spreadsheet in like 7 years
  17. This makes a lot of sense. I'd imagine, just as my Seattle GM role, I'd suck at it. If you need someone, count me in. I'm sure I could go all out for some pretty TPE.
  18. Hope you make a return

  20. Hmm, 50/50 on this! Would of been nice for Davos to win but congrats to all those on Quebec
  21. It's a different thing no one has tried that I know of. VHL is looking for "different"
  22. Oh come on now. Juniors would be sweet. A lot of people chances are leave too because they're getting their asses kicked or aren't performing good. My player sucks but I've put work into him. Sure, maybe not a huge % of people, but why let those guys go too? Why not try and keep all the guys we possibly can? We lose probably 95% of new members. Rough estimate number, but likely a good one. Why not drop that as far down as we can? 50% even wouldn't be bad! Unlikely, but not bad. Of course, we want to keep every member but an achievable goal is the place to start!
  23. I think it goes back quite a ways. Not 100% sure right now, but either way, we have quite a ways back if I'm not mistaken. We'll have recent player careers and stats on there. Maybe not all, all, alllll the way back, but hey. Portal will be nice to have!!
  24. Today and for the first time in the history of the Victory Hockey League, the site was down and unavailable to it's members (who got the sarcasm?). During previous talks, @Higgins commissioner high said it doesn't happen once a month but disgruntled members on the leagues Discord stated it seemed to almost be happening weekly. While maybe slightly dramatic, it sure has been happening a lot lately, hey? Any who, while the site was down and I almost lost my 2,400 word article because of the fact (so I thought), I began doing a little searching out of boredom and stumbled across the VHL's old portal. With a little doing and talking to Jardy, we've decided to get it up and running. I've added in all the weeks, but unfortunately, that's all I'm able to do right now until @JardyB10 finds time to get things rolling. Either way, I'm standing beside him and am lending a helping hand. I got the client + simulator and am able to do files and shit if sent my way. Ideally, I'd like to throw in this seasons currently, but Jardy believes there won't be a huge issue throwing in the seasons past to have the site full of history and career stats. My goal is to have as much as possible on there - so we can go through team history, player statistics of those current and retired. In my eyes, having this would increase activity a little bit and would be a result of the league looking more professional and shit. Plus, portals are nice and easy to navigate. Would be highly attractive to new member imo. For Forsberg
  25. I was gonna touch on the ownership too, but that sort of plays in hand to earning more money - whether it be through jobs or through alternative ways like stocks, contracts, casino, lottery or stuff like that. Maybe have the option of earning money or TPE through jobs etc. I see some issues with the ownership. Mainly, some people without pointing fingers, acting foolish and stupid and firing just to be little assholes or trolls. However, ownerships of the team is a pretty unique and cool idea. I also really enjoyed the junior idea and changing the caps of each league to help competitiveness etc. Junior could be a little more structured for the younger, newer members. Maybe have some introduction point tasks to have them become familiar with the league and stuff like that. Basic point tasks on league history, or maybe teams. Example, who are the commissioner and GM's of the league - what are the team names and how many season games do they play a season? stuff to help them locate shit while earning TPE. Again, helps with competitiveness too. Not 30 TPE players playing 175 TPE players, so 180 TPE players playing against 300-1000. I understand it's tough to maintain a couple leagues already and have GM's for those teams, but I think an exception could be made to have a junior league consist of 3 teams.
